InvestIN Reviews

Lovely people, lots of different experiences. Lots of lectures which were interesting although at times a bit too basic. Some hands on experience. Overall would recommend to people around 15 especially as most people were around that age. Very fun course and informative

Amazing experience, staff so friendly and great communication from when I booked the course all the way throughout. I was even able to contact them a long time after I had completed the course and get a swift response! Was able to network with so many experienced professionals which was great.

Really pleased with the service and would highly recommend

Very informative and gave good help on journey and process of becoming a doctor

The first 10 days are satisfactory you get to visit the top architectural firms, we learned how to make plans, sections and models that are up to scale and how to make sustainable buildings with the help of professionals.

The staff and the professionals brought in were all absolutely lovely and the course was super helpful. Strongly recommend for anyone unsure about their future career as they provided you with a lot of useful information for university applications, the university course itself, and future jobs, as well as teaching us about the subject area and days out to learn more. Lots of fun too!!

My daughter did the 5 day law immersion. Absolutely brilliant experience- she covered corporate, family and criminal law. She made lots of lovely new friends and is now very focused on her future career. Highly recommend.

My daughter loved that this course was very engaging and interactive therefore this helped her immensely for her future career in medicine

One of the best things I’ve done - the Young Vet Summer experience was really helpful, engaging and fun. I would really recommend it if you’re looking for help with getting into vet school.

nice professors, nice crime scene, and nice administration

Incredibly organised, all Investin staff were great and extremely helpful with any questions we had, all the industry professionals were incredible and provided clear guidance and explanation.

My daughter had an enriching, stimulating and very informatitve time on her 5 day summer psychology experience. Very much recommend as a summer activity especially post GCSE or during sixth form. This seems to me to be the perfect age.

Speakers were interactive with students/audience and the activities were engaging. The booklet is very clear and leaves sufficient space for notes on the side. I found it particularly great when students were able to put what we had learnt into practice by interviewing clients we might work with if we took up this profession.

The experience was really helpful in allowing me to choose which path within engineering I want to go into.

Firstly, the company itself is amazing at communicating! I faced a few technical difficulties but they were very quick to help, and even swapped my place for an in-person one to an online one quickly when I told them I wouldn’t be able to make it due to a large distance and school the next day. The course was very good too!! I did the online young political leader’s one. It was amazing to have the opportunity to talk to some incredible experts in the field. The activities were very thought-provoking too, and working with other passionate people of my age was a fun experience too. I think the courses are perfect for anyone interested in a field but not too sure about it as they introduce subjects really effectively. But equally, it is very useful for someone who knows they enjoy a particular subject but are unsure of career options. The personal communication with experts really helps with this as they explore various career opportunities and provide personal feedback. This aspect of the course was the most beneficial for me personally. Overall the experience was definitely worth a Sunday and its incredible how much you can learn in just one day, even if you can’t attend the long summer schools.

Detailed descriptions mentioned in the Investment Banking Course.

Different advice from others about the career, sharing their different experiences with us.
Lots of information and support about the portfolio.

The programme was overall informative and lots of fun. For me, the highlight was meeting like-minded people and making fun memories. I learnt how to suture for the first time. The interactiveness of the experience was also great, but I think if it was made slightly more interactive, it could be a bit more beneficial. A lot of the things mentioned are available online.

Having solicitors and barristers talk about their job and experiences was truly helpful. Great experience

I am writing this review 4 years after I completed my InvestIn Young Investment Banker program in Manchester in 2018.

While it was a number of years ago, so I cannot be too detailed with the session itself, I can now say it contained high quality, actionable and relevant advice.

At the time I was not a very academic student and did not manage to secure an offer at a 'target' university, but I believe the insight and motivation I had to build a career in banking from the session is what really put me on a path that has now allowed me to secure a Front Office Internship at a top Investment Bank in London.

For anyone thinking about a career in Investment Banking, it is extremely competitive - I believe this program is highly effective at motivating prospective students and gives them an opportunity to decide if a career in banking is for them.
