IQ Glass Reviews 

This is the second time we have used IQ Glass to provide large bespoke sliding doors and again we can't fault them. All of the team were engaged with our project from the outset and kept us updated throughout. Incredibly professional. Would highly recommend. Would definitely use them again when we move again.

On the good side their conservatory/fixed glass looks good.
On the downside, their customer service is not very responsive and the quality of their doors and windows is, frankly, not that great. My installation had many many defects which resulted in countless repairs on site. Fine while it was under warranty, but once it falls of warranty IQ Glass charges a minimum of 420£ for a call-out as I recently experienced following the elastomer sealing of one of my garden doors suddenly dropping off (not a sign of good craftsmanship in the first place, if you ask me!)

We had a CPD from Craig at IQ Glass last week which was very informative and interesting - recommended.

Large section of 5 element slim line sliding windows developed mechanical fault after nearly 9 years installed. East Midlands branch reacted quickly and had small team on site within a couple of days. Two polite and well presented young men solved the issue very quickly and even took extra time to check remaining installation and clean tracks etc. Even though I had a quote IQ Glass presented me with an amazing discount as the work had been completed well within allocated time. Not something I’d expected at all. Thank you guys for a great experience!!

Very Informative and engaging CPD. Martin was incredibly knowledgeable on the subject matter and the presentation was well structured and visually stimulating.

Placed a £40k+ order with this company which took almost a year to get to completion. Several changes of account manager over this time. Unfortunately one of the glass panels shattered on installation, which, along with several snagging issues, I have been unable to get the company to resolve many months later, even though I realise I will be paying for a new panel. Utterly fed up with IQ Glass customer service. Don’t think about using this company without a hefty retention sum.

If you use this company (and their work looks superb) be aware that you will need a full site of professional staff; they only provide structural engineering, M&E and site /contractor input as an extra. So - in other words if you cannot read or draw construction information- you are paying on top for this support. Additionally they take no responsibility for anything other than the product they supply- with your dimensions. This is regardless of whether it is existing or not. Continually requesting further info, continually highlighting their additional requirements - even when they provide completely wrong drawn information- it’s your job to highlight this (not theirs). Further they don’t forget their advance invoicing - even when they’re clearly not in production. Dreadful. We’re dreading site installation… (We’re both architects, my husband and I so god knows how a non-construction client would fare)…

IQ glazing gave a clear and engaging presentation with significant time spent on our answering any questions we had.

We had some problems with the silicone on our IQ windows which made the windows leak. I called IQ and after a bit of negotiation, they sent a team and arranged for a small scaffold tower. Fixed within a few hours. The window engineers were really professional and Zosia in After Sales Care, was super helpful.

Knowledgeable, approachable company of the highest standards in quality glazing solutions. Very impressive.

Alex took us around the IQ showroom. She had taken the time to read through and understand our project before the visit. The visit was structured. She was systematic and thorough. She answered all our questions and didn’t rush us. She gave clear and honest answers. We were impressed.

The service from Aimee (and IQ Glass) was amazing - emailed on the Tuesday and the team was here on the Wednesday with the problem fixed. The team that turned up explained and showed me what they did and reassured me on why it happened and that despite the issue, it wasn't a serious matter. Thank you!

I employed IQ glass to replace an existing glass passageway. It has been a disaster from start to finish.
I employed them and paid a deposit in Aug 2021. The process was slow and definitely not helped by the fact that 4 integral people who were working on my project left the company. After an initial site visit we were told we had to remove our existing passageway for them to make accurate measurements. We did this in February so we had a temporary plywood construction from then onwards. Their surveyor made a number of visits after this in conjunction with our builder to decide how best to construct the new passageway. When they finally came to install the steels some were missing and others could not be used. The door frame was also too big (this was now Sept ‘22).When I complained to the installer he showed me the plans he was using were dated Oct 21. So in spite of our removal of the passageway and multiple surveyor visits this information was not used to update the plans.
I tried to complain but no one ever phoned me back.
I sacked IQ after this and finally a manager did contact me. He said I could not have any money back but he would contact me the following week to see if they could help. They never contacted me again. In total I paid IQ £18,000 for a few steels.
Please don’t make my mistake but use someone else.

Very informative, very interactive, presentation was personalised to our needs. Well presented and a pleasant hour with an experienced presenter.

The seminar allowed us to make a more informed transition from the glossy brochure imagery of contemporary architecture and glazing to practical information on maximum sheet sizes, balustrade protection, ground level drainage channels, testing criteria for wind loads, impact resistance and thermal performance.

It was very useful to learn about the company's bespoke glazing capabilities and 'anything is possible attitude'.
The products were undoubtedly very high quality and the innovative glazing systems interesting to learn about.
Imagery showing applications and finished product in situation including past projects was very good.

CPD did come across as being company promotional first and education second. Would have liked to have seen more information relating to the manufacture process and inside the factory (machinery, skilled workers etc).
Additionally more information on the instillation process including images of large glass being fitted and the on site logistics of making this happen.
Finally there could have been something on sustainability and the environment which was not mentioned at all and these days should always be a consideration of manufacturers.
