I reached out to Ison Harrison when I was advised I needed to seek legal advice to continue a settlement agreement with a former workplace. I went straight to IH as they had been the solicitors we used to manage my late father's will and estate when he passed away in 2017 and they had been lovely then. This time, however, my experience was completely different. The solicitor I was put through to was rude and dismissive, arrogant, and withheld key information from me over the phone.

I repeatedly relayed to the solicitor on the phone and in my emails that I am non-binary transgender and had the correct pronouns etc. in my email footers. I then found out that the solicitor had been misgendering me in all his official correspondence with the former employer.

I had been assured over the phone that all legal fees, per the settlement agreement, would be invoiced and payable by the former employer. It was only 3 months later after everything was signed and done that they suddenly told me I owed them £300. I paid because I do not have the capacity with my health to get into a protracted dispute, but I am not happy about this at all.

Ison Harrison Solicitors were highly recommended to me for buying my first property. I cannot fault them. Everything was simple and easy. Excellent communication throughout. Extremely rude mean beyond compromise! Very unpleasant and unprofessional. This is the so called management who also a solicitor Richard pinot. His attitude is gross condescending and didn't care what he made client feel like not that they had disabilities and mental health issues.

The receptionist was worse mockery behaviour and absurd they are even apart if a firm.

All very straight forward working with Ison, Sarah Smith in particular was great communicating when needed and always happy to take a call to explain anything unclear. Would recommend

The hallmark of Ison Harrison's work is their attention to detail and I am very grateful for this. I have just completed on a leasehold flat in Harrogate - a transaction made lengthier by a change of management company. But I was kept fully in the loop by David Harrison and his excellent team and everything was finalised in timely fashion and with the minimum of fuss - which is exactly what one looks for in the conveyancing process. Having an office in Harrogate literally next door to the vendor's estate agent was a blessing!
