It has always been on my mind to study Cybersecurity and I used to explore online platforms to learn about it. However, when I got enrolled in IU, my level of knowledge and understanding of the cybersecurity foundations has drastically grown beyond what I could never have imagined. IU is a well-structured institution with updated and globally recognized curriculum and they provide everything students need to be successful in their studies. Words can't be enough for me to explain how great IU is, and it a great pleasure to be enrolled in such a fantastic institution.

the professors are very kind, understandable and respond to any questions within 24 hours. They also try to resolve any issues you might have within 24 hours. The courses are very applicable in real-life

Truly like that the courses are 100 percent at your own pace, the instructors tend to be responsive and there are a multitude of resources to help with understanding the course information. My only complaint would be the online exam portal. It’s a challenge to do high level math and science calculations using the online exam page. Anyone who is not really fast with typing and computer savvy will struggle with the exam and the time allotted to complete it when it comes to extensive math solutions.

The experience with IU has been great, they are thorough, and helpful, and the student community has been great, the university offers ready help and assistance to those who need it, all you have to do is ask. Been with them for 6 months and I would reccomend them to anybody.

Overall, I'd say studying at IU actually opened my eyes to a whole new reality about education.... I mean, in Nigeria, we're made to believe that "if it stress you, then you're definitely doing the right thing", we're made to believe that it actually has to hurt for it to count. Until I became a part of the IU community....

My learning experience with IU has been amazing; all aspects of the resources I have used have been useful and have augmented my studies for the better.

The community is also awesome if you choose to immerse yourself in it.

My journey at IU University has been very productive and impactful. I started my academic learning as a beginner. IU provided me with the opportunity to showcase my potential. Through IU, I had the opportunity of being an Intern in a private company based in South Africa. The self paced learning, academic curriculum, response time, communication and user friendly study portal are top-notch.

One good thing I will always appreciate IU is that the study materials are international standard that move along with the current realities of technology, the online library and Syntea always assist students in learning and preparing them for exams. Though other commitments have kept me away from taking exams, but i hope to be fully back on track in the next two months.

However, IU technical team are always on standby to help students when ever they're experiencing any issue. Am really grateful for the opportunity to study in Germany's largest university. Thank you

The professors are very timely and make sure we have all the resources to be the best. They respond quickly to questions and really want to help you. The IT and student support team also very prompt. IU also provides step by step guides/resources so that one can prepare adequately for the exam. I am enjoying IU university so much.

My experience with IU was horrible, to say the least. I applied for my bachelors in July 2025, with my documents. They accepted my application, and sent me a study contract. I could choose when to start, and so I chose October.
I also sent them my documents BY POST after getting them attested(money and time wasted). I was in contact with them the whole time, and I got a call that I was enrolled and could start on October 1st.

I was excited to join, but then IU sent me an email stating that I couldn't continue my studies because my subjects at A-Levels weren't enough. I told them that I had submitted my documents months prior to that(both online and by post), and that they were approved. I even got login details. They said that I would not be able to study with them, and that it was final.

I asked whether I could maybe change my degree, because I really didn't want to waste time. And they said I could not.

And that is how 5 months of my life were wasted.

I understand getting rejected. I don't understand getting strung along for 5 months after being told I was accepted. Do better.

The university is very good and the inclusion of AI has made my life easier

The staff, resources available for studying are exceptional. The experience as a whole is extremely helpful.

This is the best University in the world for Distance Learning student and regular student as well, with a curriculum that is reqularly updated. My experience so far is fantastic and wonderful, and I hope to start exploring my AI skills with big companies around the world 🌎

The students office is very fast and helpful. The Syntea app is a lifesaver, helping me optimise time and study efficiently everyday.

I just submitted my thesis today. The feedback from my supervisor was timeous and supportive. She gave me hope to keep pushing despite my tight deadline. I'm incredibly grateful for that. Even the school replied fairly on time. Being a long distance student can be tough and lonely but I'm grateful all the queries and issues I had were addressed. It was a great 3 years. If the long distance learning was still available, I would definitely recommend.

My experience with IU International University of Applied Sciences was more than great because I got all the help and support for my studies, guidance for my career growth and mentorship for the challenging life in Germany especially with the language. The professors, student office and admin people were always there when you needed them. The best thing about this university is that they don't believe in verbal communication, rather you have to document everything in emails so that it is recorded and you have future proofs of everything. I think it is a great way of showing professionalism and also prepares you for the future corporate email world. Thank you IU for everything, you set the first impression for me about Berlin which was absolutely wonderful.

IU rigorous and merit-based learning experience, together with top-notch curriculum that gets updated time to time for global relevance and timely students support are my favorite things about the IU International University of Applied Sciences and I'd choose this institution time and over again.

I have been studying online and the support has been superb.
Ther has not been a time when I needed help and failed to be assisted during my studies. No matter the topic or concern.
And everything has always been personal to me unlike some generic responses others use. Even if it means giving a phone call back.

I am a distance learner, and the flexibility is marvelous! The user interface is very friendly too, and the mode of exam is thorough!

The professors are amazing and super helpful. They respond quickly to questions and really want to help you. The IT and student support team also responds in a timely manner. The work I learn is on par with local universities and the subject matter helps me to not only understand the theory but enables me to directly enter the work force. IU gives a lot of real-world case projects and case studies which has helped me understand the practical side behind the theoretical studies a lot. In all it’s an amazing university.
