Working for Trading Standards my own opinion and advice to consumers would have been that they should purchase vehicles locally, however, being located some 350 miles away I found that I was interested in purchasing a car from Jennings Ford South Shields, and after talking to an extremely helpful member of the sales team Mr Barry Dunn I went ahead with the purchase of a Ford Direct vehicle for extra reassurance.
The quality of service received from Mr Dunn of Jennings Ford Direct have been beyond my expectations with exceptional professional customer service, making buying a new car with no face to face contact such a straight forward experience.
I would also like to thank Nick Todorov for a very professional hand over after such an arduous journey.

We visited Jennings for the first time just to have a browse around, we had no intention to buy but were so impressed we came away having struck a deal on a Fiesta Zetec S. The sales people, the showroom, the presentation of the cars, in fact everything was great. We are on our 25th car and have never felt so satisfied dealing with a garage.

I used a Jennings ford outlet centre, where used cars which are ex employees car are sold. From the first time i spoke to an assistant, Barry, he couldnt have been more helpful if he tried. He got a number of keys for me to look into cars and helped me to narrow down my vies, wants and needs. I then test drove the car. The dealership offered me a deal but at the time I was unsure, they allowed me to sleep on it and the same deal applied the next day. Unfortunately Barry was on holiday for the week after I had bought the car meaning that I couldn't pick it up for another week, which I wasn't too bothered about at the start but I did want to get in my new car! As soon as he came back he was on the phone sorting out my details and got the car all sorted for me within a few days. On picking my car up eh was delayed talking to another customer but his service and patience were lovely. I was happy to sit and wait for him. When he has finished he gave me the most comprehensible guide to a new car possible, it look over an hour and told me about every single detail on the car, it being a titanium with an x pack you can imagine it has a lot of gadgets! I left the dealership with my new car, knowing exactly how everything worked. I have had no problems at all with it and would highly recommend the dealership to anyone I came across.

Living 265 miles away from the Jennings ford dealership that we saw the car online at ended up being no problem at all. The vehicle was transported down for us to look at with the previso that if not fully happy it would be returned to the dealership. The car was in fact as good as we had hoped so we purchased it anyway. The staff were extremly helpful throughout and I would happily recommend them.

Always check that your concerns have been catered for, because once they have your money they don`t give a flying f**k !

Working overseas, saw car online so my sister made contact and delivered a few days later ready for my return to uk

The people are friendly they understood or needs and wishes. A lovely car great smooth service. I would recommend to anyone wishing to listen!

We had an issue with my part ex and the lack of a stamped service book.

The sales guy was extremely decent and facilitated the deal with minimum fuss. No flannel, just straight talking. Deal completed in little time.

Car was extremely well presented on collection.

My wife and I were very impressed with the sales staff at Jennings Ford Direct. Whether it was because we had viewed the car on the internet and were already sold into buying the car I do not know, but we could not fault those involved in the sale - from the first query over the telephone to handing the cheque over, we were treat courteously and with respect. We were both happy with the deal and of course the car that we purchased. In particular the actual 'salesman' in the showroom was very informative and easy to talk to - no hard sell - which I find very irritating. I would recommend Jennings to my friends because of this experience. Thank you!

Never thought I would purchase a car over the Internet but I have to say the service I received from Jennings was exceptional.my new car was delivered and my old one taken away as promised.very pleased with my purchase.

From start to finish, dealing with Jennings was straighforward and pleasant. There is a real sense of Jennings putting the customer first - and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble. Special mention must go to Steve Ternent - who was knowledgeable, helpful, polite - and enthusiastic. What a refreshing change from some other dealers - where you get the feeling that customers are either an irritation - or doing them a favour!

Great relaxed service and no strong sales patter. Nick Todorov was very good at going through everything and it was a stress free afternoon with himself and Colin Hutton delivering a very proffessional service.

We contacted and visited maybe 3 or 4 Ford dealerships before we came across a car at Jennings that ticked all the boxes for us. The whole hassle-free experience was a joy, with Jennings by far being the most helpful and professional dealership we dealt with. Peter Nesbitt the salesman is a credit to the company with his charm and straight-talking, no nonsense approach. If only all salespeople were like this! Thanks again to everyone at Jennings for willingness to please and making buying a new car such a pleasure!

Jennings at south shields were easy to deal with. There was none of the truly awful patter and dishonesty I'd put up with from every other dealership I'd gone to that day; they listened to what I wanted and offered me a great deal. I'll go straight there next time!!

The whole experience was excellent. The salesman, Mark Taylor, gave me all the information I needed and recommended the car I went on to buy. The saleman was informative but not at all pushy. He gave me time to consider all my options. I am delighted with my purchase and would recommend Jennings Ford Direct, South Shields to anyone, in particular the salesman Mark Taylor.
This is the 3rd car I have bought through Mark and I am sure it won't be the last. Thank you again!
