Best for Guests
We’ve used Boulevard for over five years across multiple salon locations in major cities, and it continues to be the best platform for both the guest and stylist experience.
As a salon business, we need a system that is simple, reliable, and supported by strong reporting, but most importantly it has to work seamlessly for our guests. Booking should feel intuitive, easy to navigate, and frictionless. Boulevard consistently delivers on that. They didn't ask me to write this. We are always open to other platforms and we demo them regularly. I still feel like guests have the best experience booking with this app and that is my number one priority.

Promise the world until you signup. Then good luck getting into touch with a human. The AI chatbot is all you will get. Hidden fees with being charged "segments" for texts. For instance, if you edit the booking text message to clients, it will count a text as 3-10 texts for 1. If you have issues with the software (which is QUITE FREQUENT) you won't be able to reach an actual human for support. When you finally get ahold of someone after a few days, it's a back and forth email exchange that will take a week minimum to HELP even resolve any issues. Just terrible. DO NOT SIGN!

He put us at a table & offered to move us a few times (when the customers moved )

What didnt go wrong, the pricing, false promises, lackluster onboarding experience, followed by a run around of team members no straight answers, and the worst customer service imaginable. whatever you do, don't sign their BS contract. they'll sell you a dream the disappear like one-

I signed up with them because it looked good and the functionality that they showed was solid. But once I got signed up and learned that the functionality is not the best and the transition from A/R to their platform that was supposed to be seamless has been nothing but a nightmare. I am constantly having to follow up with them to try to resolve issues. I have had client notes just disappear and when you contact support they can't do anything. Do they not do server backups to where they can see and recover?: It has just been a terrible experience. It has so much potential if they get the right team in place to tweak the system with much needed upgrades. One being as basic as allowing DECIMALS in inventory. I use medications where we administer doses such as 0.25MG. But there system only does whole numbers. That should be an easy fix for a programmer but I am assuming that the programmers don't even have a clue about this issue and if they do then they really lack at skill.
