I’ve been with Zenoti for about a year and a half, and it has been a year and a half of constant issues.
Yes, the system is “robust,” but that’s honestly part of the problem. Simple tasks require navigating what feels like 40 different screens and toggling obscure settings just to get one thing done. That might be tolerable if their documentation was accurate—but it’s not. Their guides are outdated, showing features and settings that no longer exist, which makes an already complicated system even more frustrating.
Support is a nightmare. You get passed in circles with no real resolution. And if you’re assigned to Anantha Nischal as your product manager, don’t expect help. Messages go unanswered. When he does respond, it’s usually “I’ll get back to you,” and then nothing. I have outstanding issues from months ago that are still unresolved with zero explanation.
Trying to leave has been just as bad. I’ve requested my data to transition to another platform and cannot get it sent over. Every follow-up is ignored, including one sent to the legal team, as it is clear they are not holding up their end of the contract. At this point, it feels like you’re stuck in a system that won’t support you while you’re in it and won’t let you leave easily either.
I pay close to $1,000 a month for this service, and in return I get inconsistent payouts, an overly complicated backend, and little to no communication when issues arise.
If you value your business running smoothly, your time, your money, or even basic responsiveness from a company you’re paying—do not choose Zenoti.

I’ve had an excellent experience with Zenoti, largely thanks to the outstanding support from Ramanna. He is always willing to help, no matter the time even at 4 AM, he responds promptly and goes above and beyond to assist. His dedication, reliability, and positive attitude truly make a difference. It’s rare to find such consistent and dependable support, and it really enhances the overall experience with Zenoti.

Amazing Technology, Too Complicated
This company has really forward-thinking technology; however, it is way too complicated for a small business owner, who is already drowning in responsibilities, to learn all that's needed to know to utilize it properly. I am an independent thinker who can muddle my way through any type of software if given a bit of direction. Not this one! There are so many options for customizations, I think it would take the rest of my life to configure all of them...not to mention accessing the information once it is all configured. I don't think it is very user friendly for Guest Services or Adminstrators; however, the service provider and client apps are very easy to use, and actually very nice. I had spoken to quite a few others in my industry who had the same feedback, almost verbatim. Another thing we all agree on: If retail is your strongsuit, this is where it is most deficient. The onboarding was pretty thorough, but the education was severely lacking. Also, be aware that their 24-7 customer service is essentially a warm body answering the phone, and directing the more complicated queries up the chain. It doesn't matter how much of an emergency situation you are in...be prepared to wait several days for the person with the answers to call you back. They do have an AI chatbot that is very helpful, but sometimes you just need to talk to an actual human. I gave them three stars, because their good aspects are amazing, while their bad aspects are very frustrating.

I wanted so much to love this software. I can see how it can be incredible. It reminds me of a house with 15 rooms, each built by a different person without much connectivity. It has so much to offer but starting up with them has been rocky. Too many restrictions, IMO. This would be a business partner, allowing us to run our business while using their disconnected software. The support has been remote and outside our time zone. Our main point of contact for training has been incredible. Once I complained about the support, it improved but it was too little, too late. Down the road, perhaps we will revisit using the software. Hopefully, when this review is read, it will aid them in moving forward.

Do not even consider signing up to Zenoti!
I wish I could give this awful company zero stars! The system is so complicated, nothing you want to do is ever simple, everything takes hours to sort out. The customer service is shocking, I ended something sorting and the company was on a 4 week shutdown for accepting new issues!! Absolutely ridiculous. If you want to leave and take your data with you ( YOUR patient data) they want to charge you $1000 to do so. They will bribe you into to leaving a bad review by offering you your own data for free. Honestly moving to Zenoti was one of the worst business decisions ive ever made. Please save yourself na whole lot of time and hassle and do not consider signing up to this company.

Migration Salonized > Zenoti
Ritesh, Gouri, and Suba (and team) are very engaged and supportive throughout the migration process. They are reasonably quick to respond to questions and are very helpful. A migration like this is always stressful and time-consuming.
What makes it more challenging is a combination of factors: there are always issues when migrating large amounts of data, and in this case I expected a bit more key learnings or guidance from the Zenoti team overall. Since we are still not very familiar with the software, we tend to panic more quickly and don’t always know the right workarounds when unexpected issues or errors occur. There also seemed to be some bugs or system issues within Zenoti that made the process less smooth.
Thanks to relatively good guidance, we are now gaining more clarity and structure. Overall, I believe Zenoti—particularly in terms of configuration—still has significant steps to make in improving its UX. It feels like a complex web of illogically connected settings, and the help pages are not always clear or illustrative.
Lastly, I would like to mention that, in my opinion, Rocketlane is a very cluttered and confusing tool. This is something that really needs improvement to better maintain overview and manage support tickets during the migration process.
My overall rating is just about a pass due to the system and the lack of learnings, but I am very positive about the support from the team members, who are clearly doing their best to help us get up and running.
What a great onboarding team
The onboarding process has been long, but for good reasons. The attention to detail and quality of the back end set up has been made easier by the amazing onboarding team.
We are approaching the end of phase 2, and the journey has taken longer only because it’s only me on my end having to provide extensive detail. However, I’m feeling really great that all of our systems are so much more accurate than they ever have been.
Ritesh has been very patient with me learning new tech and I feel confident in getting the best out of this amazing system

I’ve had a really positive experience working with the Zenoti Support team. Mark in particuar has been super. He has always been incredibly helpful, understanding, and quick to respond. On many occasions when I’ve struggled, he has taken the time to support me and find a solution. Even if he doesn’t have an immediate answer, he’ll always go away, look into it, and come back with one. His reliability and willingness to help really stand out, and it’s genuinely appreciated.
