I have never had a good experience with Solicitors on my previous house moves... that was until I dealt with JS Law. Ross Orton was our solicitor and he was great! He was extremely efficient and their portal for uploading documents was easy to use.

I would definitely use JS Law again and I would also recommend using them to anyone who has had a bad experience with Solicitors before.

Our experience with this company was very negative and unimaginable. The conveyancing process for our first buy was very difficult and complicated. The staff assigned to us was extremely unprofessional, unresponsive and careless. The entire process was extremely frustrating. It was marked with poor communication. We would ask for explanation which they can easily provide by email on request but hardly did we get any. We asked for assistance during source of fund verification, I wrote several emails, the only response we got was please complete the source of fund verification which failed to address the core issue asked for. We have to figure this out ourselves and it was frustrating. What is the essence of the fees we paid for this service. It was unimpressive. The amount we ended up paying for the process was too high compared to the quote we were given while we were setting out.
Too many things negative things to talk about. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am in doubt if the positive reviews here actually correlate with real life experience with the firm. This is a genuine experience and not motivated by anything personal.

Please avoid them at all cost.

We had a difficult sale, lots of issues but Kelly Hulley helped me deal with them all. Kelly kept me calm & updated throughout and was only a phone call away if I needed help. Kelly is very personable whilst being completely professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to use JSLaw again.

ifraan was very helpful through the whole transaction, and as an elderly woman at times i needed to phone him he would tell me what i had to do next, at times he was very reassuring as buying and selling properties is no easy task.

Ritika chandock was appointed as our conveyancer for the purchase of our first Home. All we can say is good things about her. She was always quick to reply to emails and was always on hand to answer the phone when we called. She was very professional and easy to speak to. We couldn’t recommend her enough
She deserves a pay rise or promotion

My experience with JS Law during the purchase of my new home was, unfortunately, one of the most frustrating professional experiences I have had.

The transaction itself was stressful enough, but what made it considerably worse was the lack of communication and the need to repeatedly chase for updates. Rather than feeling supported through one of the biggest purchases of my life, I frequently felt as though I had been forgotten.

My case handler left me feeling very little confidence in the level of service I received. There were prolonged periods where I had no meaningful updates, communication often felt reactive rather than proactive, and I was left trying to piece together what was happening with my own purchase. As a client, that simply isn't acceptable.

The uncertainty had a genuine impact on my wellbeing. Buying a home should be an exciting milestone, but instead I found myself feeling anxious, frustrated and increasingly powerless because I couldn't obtain the information I needed without constantly chasing.

Whilst the purchase was eventually completed, I cannot say the journey reflected the standard of service I expected from a firm of solicitors. Good legal representation isn't just about reaching the end result; it's about communication, professionalism and giving clients confidence throughout the process. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I would not choose to use JS Law again.

Nicole went above and beyond to get our contract over the line, handling every hiccup swiftly and effectively. At times it felt like there was always one last hurdle, and I had nearly given up. Nicole never did, and she completed the sale on the final day.
I'll admit I wasn't the easiest client to deal with, but Nicole handled everything with professionalism from start to finish. We've all heard the horror stories about selling a house. If you want someone who simply takes care of it all, I couldn't recommend Nicole at JS Law more highly.
