Your response to my review is absolute…

Your response to my review is absolute rubbish. Yes, the car went back to you twice the car went to linleys who did a health check on the vehicle and gave a shocking report, the oil repair you did was clamped up with a metal clip and not properly replaced. Hence, you bodged it up to get it through its mot, you made your threats to lock us in the building and I have seen other reviews on you threating to hit customers, the car i bought has been back for multiple repairs and wasn't able to drive it till all repairs were done, yiu are a poor poor company to buy a vehicle from.

They were happy for me to drive away same day but I decided to come back.
Had any outstanding tasks sorted on the car.
Happy with service :)

I have only given them 1 star as that…

I have only given them 1 star as that is the lowest it would let me give. We purchased a car off them nearly 5 weeks ago and have been waiting for the log book to come back so the tracker could be changed over to us as our insurance insisted the vehicle was tracked. we have waited for the 4 weeks as the DVLA has stated before we could chase them. Today we contacted the DVLA to be told the the las request to change the log book was 2023. I contact KC Kars to find out why they did not do it straight away to be told they do them in batches. As a result our insurance has cancelled our policy as we could not prove the tracker within the given time frame costing us £100's of pounds and a black mark on our insurance record. I will be perusing this company for all of my losses due to their negligence.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with your experience.

At no stage prior to your recent contact did you raise any concerns with us regarding the V5C or advise that you had not received it. As soon as you contacted us, we investigated the matter immediately. We explained that the member of staff who deals with DVLA V5 notifications was not in the office at the time, and that upon their return the matter would be reviewed as a priority to establish exactly what had happened.

Our records indicate that issues were encountered when the notification was initially being processed electronically, which prevented it from being completed successfully. Once this was identified, the matter was dealt with by submitting the notification to the DVLA by post for processing.

We are sorry to hear that you have experienced difficulties with your insurance. However, insurers do not ordinarily cancel a policy without first contacting the policyholder and providing an opportunity to provide the required information or remedy the issue. You did not contact KC KARS regarding any urgency with your insurance or advise us that your policy was at risk until your recent telephone call. Had you made us aware of this sooner, we would have investigated the matter immediately, as we did once you brought it to our attention.

During your telephone calls yesterday, we explained that the member of staff responsible for processing DVLA notifications was unavailable and that, upon their return, the matter would be investigated as a priority. Despite this, multiple calls were made before we had the opportunity to complete that investigation.

We do not accept that KC KARS has acted negligently.
