After three months of occasional use a plastic planetary gear cog for Kenwood Chef gave up. No satisfaction from this company whatsoever even though they were given the chance to make amends - their suggestion was I should buy one of their metal cogs (£15). I bought another chef on Ebay for £10 and got the metal gear out of that, surprise surprise all still good one year on. Do not buy from this company and especially do not buy nylon/plastic gears!!!

We saw the Kenwood Chef Restore web page and decide that our 40+year old was looking very old and tired. It was simplicity itself to organise the collection of our sad Kenwood Chef. We were pleasantly surprised with the cost and the turn round time. We were delighted when we open the package and saw what you had done to our mixer. It now lives on the worktop instead of being kept out of sight in a cupboard. Would highly recommend them to anyone whose mixer needs a new lease of life

Our kenwood mixer had a broken speed board, it is an expensive machine to replace so looked for a repair service, of which there don't seem to be many. This company are really good, they kept me updated on progress and did a great job of repairing. Would recommend to anyone and will probably end up using them again to keep the machine in good working order.

My much-loved (but somewhat abused) Kenwood Major has been repaired and mechanically restored by team Alex and is now working as though it were brand new. I am delighted to have it back in such good shape and cannot recommend Kenwood Chef Restore too highly.

Excellent service and speedy repair. They also took the time to explain the fault and how to avoid replicating it in the future. I would have no hesitation to recommend this company. A+++

My ancient A701 was in a sad state. But now it works perfectly and I have different speeds again. And the colour matches my kitchen tiles so I don't have to hide it away! It seems a bit noisey but maybe it was always like that. Great job. Thank you very much.

My Granny's old Chef took a walk off the work surface when under the "care" of my 10 year old daughter. It has now been returned in better working order than since I have had it, decades of cake mix removed and purple as well!!!! This company provides an amazing service, and how great not to have to throw this heirloom away! Thenprocess of booking it in and sending it could probably be more straightforward, but really great service.

Good service and contact, I would recommend this store to anyone in need of Kenwood parts, bowls and attachements.

Bring my old A701 for restoration, the machine was tired and noisy .. after few weeks can't believe the transformation .. amazing !! like new running quieter and very tough paint ... highly recommended

I ordered a replacement globe for my Kenwood mixer. Despite double-checking that it would fit my model when it arrived (and it did arrive very quickly) I found it wouldn't; the lid was too small and the base leaked.

I contacted the seller who refused a refund on the grounds that the package had been opened. Not sure how they can justify this, because how else are you supposed to establish whether it is the right part or not and, after all, I did rely on their description...

Order the one day and delivery safely the next. Couldn't ask for better!

My old, dirty mixer now looks like new. Excellent work, perfect communication, prompt delivery.
Do not throw away your old Kenwood Chef, give it to Kenwoodchefrestore!!! They will make it look like it has just come out of the box.

Earlier this week we took delivery of a refurnished Kenwood Chef A901E (Manufactured sometime between 1982-87) from 'Kenwood Chef Restore' (KCR) covered by a 6-month Warranty. The mixer was exactly as advertised - "in very good condition"! There's not a mark on it anywhere. This is the 1st mixer that we have ever owned. We have used it this morning to mix a fruit loaf and everything went superbly well!

We went for a refurbished Kenwood as there's a school of thought that says these vintage machines (built in the UK) are better than the modern versions.

The standard of service received from KCR was excellent, from the initial enquiry, the advice received through to delivery was faultless. To crown it all, the A901E works superbly well! We look forward to years of service from our mixer, thanks to Alex and the team at KCR.

You can confidently deal with this company

I took possession of my mothers 1960's Kenwood Chef A701A after her death. The Kenwood Chef was in an extremely poor state. The paint missing in many places, bits missing, bits corroded and not functioning.

It was my desire to have the Kenwood Chef repaired so that I would have find memories of my mother when ever I used it. Not only that, I remember the old Kenwood Chefs as being a great tool.

After some research I decided to use Kenwood Chef Restore. I do not regret it at all. The service was exceptional. Quick responses to emails and a fantastic quality product returned. I had the Kenwood Chef repainted. The quality is fantastic. The Chef looks new!

I am about to use it to make a in & Tonic cake to celebrate.

My Kenwood chef has lasted through being used nearly every day for over 30 years. IT started to get tired and look shabby. Then horror of horrors, the motor bunt out!
I found this site on the internet and I am so very happy that my machine now looks as good as new. IT sounds good, it is particularly clean, a thing I struggled with as it had years of ingrained food squeezed into every place you could imagine and, I'm sure, beyond!
It has come home, like a welcome family friend and looks like my daughter will be able to benefit from such a wonderful machine.
Money well spent and quality reaching expectations.

My Kenwood A901 arrived yesterday safe and sound, my reaction was WOW! it is just perfect. I cannot praise Kenwood chef restore enough. What a first rate company it certainly deserves more than the 5* that i can give it.Thank you Alex for all your very prompt emails I was kept updated all the way through the restoration. your company is the best that i have ever dealt with .
