Everyone at Kids Planet Halesowen have been so welcoming and just all round fantastic since my little boy started nearly 12months ago.
Being a first time parent it was a totally new experience and quite overwhelming for me but I knew as soon as I walked through the doors I got this homely feeling and knew this was the place I wanted my child to go.
Everyone goes above and beyond, all the staff know each child's name even if they aren't in their class which I think is lovely that they have made the effort and always make time to say a quick hello or goodbye no matter how busy they are. Thank you everyone for all that you do, if I could give you 10 ☆ I would

My twins have been at Kids Planet Halesowen for a year now and they have had the best time! They have fun whilst they’re there, there’s always a variety of activities going on throughout the day and they have lots of time to be outside.
The staff have been brilliant with them, and us! My children have developed such good relationships with all staff but even more so with their key workers. We are informed regularly about what they’ve been up to and how they’re getting on, keeping us up to date with their progress and what their next steps are. The communication is great and the staff are very approachable if you have any questions.
They have made the transition into full time nursery so smooth and filled me with nothing but reassurance about leaving them in their care. A fab team!

My daughter not long started her nursery life with kids planet Halesowen, I have never left her with anyone, so you can only imagine how nervous I was with her starting in a new big adventure!! But wow what a joy it’s been to see her settling in so well!! Can’t thank baby room staff for making her experience so far so amazing!! It’s put my mind to rest knowing she having the best time, making the best memories, puts my mind to rest seeing everything she gets up to in the day, thank you kids planet Halesowen for settling in my daughter means the absolute world knowing she enjoying nursery life! And that’s all down too you!!

Our daughter only goes to Kids planet Halesowen one day a week at the moment, but she absolutely loves it. The staff are so friendly and caring, and she always comes home happy and full of stories. Even just going once a week, we’ve noticed her confidence growing and she’s learning so much. We feel really lucky to have found such a lovely, nurturing nursery.

We arranged a tour at this nursery and were told there was a place available for our daughter, so we went ahead and completed the online registration form as instructed. We were advised she could start as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, several weeks have now passed with no response, despite sending multiple follow-up emails. With the new term about to begin, we are still waiting to hear back.

Thankfully, our daughter’s previous nursery kindly agreed to keep her on at short notice, but this situation has caused us unnecessary stress and disappointment. Clearer communication and timely updates would have been greatly appreciated.

After looking at these reviews due to concerns over Kids Planet taking over our daughter's nursery in Handforth this is our experience so far. Prior to Kids Planet taking over the Nursery and Staff were brilliant, kind and our Daughter loves going there. Over the last month we have seen all existing staff leave or hand in there notice due to the way they are treated. In fact I had to console a member of staff who burst into tears and has now handed in their notice. The nursery looks a mess when collecting our daughter. The new staff seem to have a very different identity to the existing staff. Almost like they have come from a job center done a crash course in child care and thrown into work. So many needless corporate changes made to the nursery I'm sure from someone who works in an office and following their corporate guidelines and not what is best for the nursery. If it ain't broke why try and fix it? Poor practice from the company. On a personal level our Daughter doesn't seem to be progressing as much as we hoped. Almost going backwards with potty training. We get no feedback and have had no direct contact from Kids Planet since takeover 3 months ago. All parents we have spoken too, express the same concerns. We are now looking at alternatives for our daughter which we are gutted about as the nursery prior to takeover was perfect. Right now I would avoid enrolling your children to the Pod in Handforth I'm sorry to say.

Our child has been attending for two years and, from our experience and comparing to experiences of our friends and family, this is simply the best nursery in Oxford. Nothing but wonderful care and professionalism all around, highly recommended.

The staff gives my daughter so much attention and affection, always responding to her needs with care. I've seen a big improvement in her social and language skills since she started. It's wonderful to see how much she learns and grows every single day.

Welcoming and enthusiastic staff in a wonderful setting complete with outdoors woodland space. Absolutely satisfied and feeling lucky we got a spot here!

A Fantastic nursery with a really great team of teachers and a little piece of woodllands on their own. Both our children where very happy attending from 1 year old to 4 years old.

My kids have been there for over 5 years. Great staff. Great nursery. They have a great outdoor area and forest school for pre-school.

Since joining the team, I have observed a truly positive shift in staff dynamics, morale, and the overall operation of the nursery. There are numerous opportunities for professional growth, and support is consistently available whenever needed.

My daughter has been attending the setting since she was just four and a half months old, and I genuinely cannot speak highly enough of the team. I feel much more at ease leaving her than I ever expected, as I know she is genuinely loved and well cared for. It’s heartwarming to receive regular updates through the app and to see all the wonderful things she has been doing.

Support is amazing, staff team are friendly and approachable. Nursery was warm and welcoming.

The pre school room support and encourage our child. We’ve been through every room in the nursery over 4 years with 2 children. The kindness, care and attention they have received have been exceptional. We have never had any problems. Our child is a fussy eater and they have encouraged him to try new things and he is always offered an alternative. Any injuries have been fully explained, and treated. The outdoor work they do with Jess is amazing, he has really increased his knowledge and confidence. We will be sad to leave Syd and the preschool team in July ready for our next adventure. North Wingfield Kids planet have truly wonderful staff and I wouldn’t hesitate to send the children again. Thank you for everything you do.

Absolutely amazing nursery! My son goes there , great staff. Provide amazing experiences , plenty of trips for the kids to the parks , forests etc

My son and daughter both attend the Llandudno site. Staff are fantastic with both children. My son has autism and non verbal. I was supported in finding funding for him to have a 1-1 support when he attends the setting. My daughter had been there since September last year and has come on leaps and bounds. Thank you to the team at Llandudno for making their nursery experience a great one

As other parents will understand, choosing a nursery for your child (especially before they’re able to communicate) is an extremely daunting experience, however, choosing Kids Planet West Bridgford was a no brainer for us, and we felt instantly comfortable when we went for our first viewing and subsequent settling in sessions.

Our daughter has been with the West Bridgford setting for just over a year now, and is developing into a sociable and confident toddler, and we feel that the nursery have played a vital role in this.

She is currently in the baby room, and Leah and the team are nothing short of amazing. This is evident in how comfortable and happy our daughter is when she arrives to nursery. They always take the time to talk to you in the morning and give you an overview of the day on pick-up. We will forever be thankful to them for making a hard situation that bit easier, and for everything they have done for our daughter. She is due to transition to the toddler room very soon, and we are looking forward to seeing how her development progresses further.

To give a fair review, our only gripe is that the nursery have introduced a consumables fee, in addition to the existing daily fee. I believe this is in line with the government funding changes, and acknowledge that most other nurseries have taken a similar approach, so I don’t think this is unique to KP. Our only hope is that the staff have been able to reap some of the benefit of this in form of a pay rise, as they too are faced with rising costs like the rest of us.

Overall our experience so far has been brilliant and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to any other local parents looking for childcare.

I’ve generally appreciated the care and attention the staff provide at this nursery towards my daughter, but I’m disappointed to learn that frozen, pre-packaged foods are being served to the children. At this early stage in development, nutrition plays such a vital role, and I had expected more fresh, wholesome meals to be a part of the daily routine. It’s disheartening to think that convenience may be prioritized over quality when it comes to our kids' health. I hope the nursery reconsiders its food choices and moves toward more nutritious, freshly prepared options.
