thought that i broke a toy but they too fell off, shouted at me and are always assuming a group of teenagers are trouble when i was just feeling a squishy toy? i think it’s silly and you shouldn’t just always assume a small group of teens are trouble when you’ve never actually met them before, it fell off and i picked it up and put it back on the shelf and got shouted at. stupid!

Staff followed my 10 and 11 year old daughters around the store with no justification. I allowed them a few minutes independent shopping thinking they would be safe and happy in a toy shop. They were scared and intimidated by this behaviour. While I appreciate steps must be taken to mitigate shoplifting, the manner in which your staff appear to assess risk and respond is wholly inappropriate - particularly in a shop aimed at children. Treating young customers with suspicion (without justification) and intimidation is not acceptable and has completely overshadowed what should have been a special birthday experience for my daughter.

I ordered the Robo Alive White Shark from this company online prior to Xmas. Following Christmas we tried to use it in the bath and it didn’t work. I contacted this company via email with my order number on 4th Jan and have been ignored.
Avoid!!!

After trying all the out of town toy superstores for particular Hello Kitty Nite Lites for my grandchildren was met with little success and little interest from the Supersstores. Then remembering I had passed a local toy shop the last time I was in Chichester, I contacted Kids Stuff with an enquiry. They noted the exact nite lites I was seeking and promised to contact me if they were able to acquire them for me. I did not hold out much hope and thought I would be forgotten, but after several communications from Donna, she informed me her hunt had been successful. They put them by for me in the shop as I was not able to come to the shop and purchase them for another week as I was on holiday. After my return from holiday I duly visited Kids Stuff toy shop and they had been reserved for me with my name stored safely. A wonderful experience I would never ever be able to enjoy in an out of town superstore. Personal service is not dead. My grandaughters were over the moon with their new acquisition as we had been trying everywhere to obtain them with no success.

Visited the Chichester branch today with 2 of our grandchildren (we are 65 year olds) only to be followed by a member of staff round the whole shop. Presumably she thought we might shoplift something!! Very unwelcoming and didn’t deny her actions when challenged about it at the till point. Won’t be going to this shop again, their loss as we actually have 5 grandchildren.

Best Toy Store in Chichester!

Always a wide and great selection of toys and definitely my go too for all things retro (Masters of the Universe, Transformers figures) and Lego.
Highly recommend for Lego Mini Fig collectors.
Staff always friendly, pleasant and talkative.
