Ordered a platform ladder. It was damaged when recieved. DX were the delivery company and failed to deliver in two of the specified days. One email (answered almost immediately from Rhiannon and one phone call). Arranged a pick up of a replacement within the hour. A1 for customer service.

I ordered ladders through their website for my business and filled in my delivery details correctly.
The company attempted to extort an extra £40 delivery charge for being in Argyll and Bute. They claim it is highlands and Islands.
Since their ordering software decided that delivery should be free I smell something suspect or discriminatory.
On phoning the number provided I got a smart a*** who was no help at all. He did not even know that they were attempting to get the extra postage payment which indicates that his claims to look at my order were a fabrication.
I will never use this company for any purchase going forward and warn users to expect to be treated like trash.

Don't even expect their descriptions to be correct, and if they are misleading, they don't accept any responsibility, and what to charge a ridiculously high return cost to force you to NOT to return items! These are not reputable suppliers that i would recommend to any trades person. let alone the public

I can thoroughly recommend this company. Very responsive, knowledgeable staff, easy to deal with and totally trustworthy. Would definitely buy from them again.

Ask to delay delivery date, but that date was missed, so had to postpone work. Rearranged for the following Monday - instead arrived Saturday before. Luckily someone someone on site to accept. But ladder damaged and stand-off looked second hand. At this point all confidence evaporated, so arranged return and ordered from elsewhere. You guessed it - collection missed as well. So it's two weeks later, and I've got an unusable ladder, and they still have my money. Exhausting.

James gave me such fantastic advice, really knows his stuff.

Product advertises 3-5 days delivery, but I got mine in Perthshire within 36 hours.
Quality was good, price was great, delivery man helpful.
Many other companies charge additional delivery for PH postcode, but free delivery with Ladders4Sale.

Yesterday received the telescopic ladder ordered through Ladders4sale (supplied by Abbey Ladders from same address). Arrived in 2 days to West Midlands with DHL. Very happy with the product and price as well. Thank you.

Wanted to order two staging boards. Rang the company early in the morning to check that they were in stock and would be sent out that day on a next day service. I was assured that they were in stock and would be sent out that day, although they could not guarantee the courier's next day service. Placed the order at 9:32am.

Rang the next day to get tracking for the consignment. Was told they had not been sent out and would be with us the next day or the day after that.

Fully understand that couriers are a third party over which the seller has no control, but we should be able to trust the seller to get the goods out that day if that is what they promise to do.

When I complained the lady didn't accept that I had a point. No apology - and that's what has made me really cross. So disappointed with the service I received.

The reply to this review is absolutely outrageous. I was told 1-2 days. I rang early on the day to confirm the details. I am completely certain of my facts. I am neither deaf nor stupid.

On the order it states clearly 3-5 days delivery.
Mine took 12 days to arrive.

A really good (with deep treads) German Hailo aluminium ladder purchased. Cheaper than elsewhere and delivered to London within three days. Delighted with quality of ladder..

I'm very happy with my ladder purchase. Delivered to East Midlands address without any problems.
They give discounts on some accessories purchased with a ladder. It's evident that they don't just want to fob us off with the cheapest stuff.

Ordered Drabest 3 section combination ladders. Delivery was a complete disaster.
Delivery was supposed to be within 5 working days. They finally arrived on the 11th working day, more than two weeks after ordering. I chased them on 6th working day and was promised delivery on day 8 or 9, after the weekend. Was texted on 9th working day and told to expect delivery by lunchtime on 10th working day. Wasted a whole day waiting in and delivery didn't materialise. Had a load of hassle trying to get in touch with the courier company who finally responded next morning - working day 11, a Friday - and was told they couldn't deliver until the following Monday or Tuesday. After more phone calls and a bit of a strop on my part they agreed to deliver that afternoon, which they finally did.
About to use the ladders for the first time and have now discovered that there were no instructions supplied with the ladders, despite a warning notice not to use without first reading the instructions. I have never used this type of equipment before - I am a DIY-er, not a professional - and am unsure how to set it up for working in a stairwell. Can't find any instructions for this particular make/model so I am having to resort to generic instructions from the internet and having a bit of a nightmare trying to work out if I am doing it right - not ideal when I need to be working nearly 20 feet up.

Absolutely would not use this company again and couldn't recommend them to anyone else.

Couldn't be more pleased. The 2 x DS Step ladders I purchased were better priced than any other high street or on-line company.

I placed my order at 11:30 am and the goods arrived at 8am the next day. (Swansea - Birmingham) FANTASTIC, delighted and thank you. Highly Recommended.

I bought some ladders from this company late on a Wednesday - I did not even request next day delivery in order to make it less urgent; I agreed a Friday delivery and they then requested this of their supplier. They will say that they don't guarantee a particular date but given they can get ladders delivered before requested, presumably, that means that they have some control. Despite my request, their delivery company tried an early delivery on a Thursday. Delivery was refused (there was no-one in) and we agreed next day delivery (Friday). The delivery company failed to do that (and lied to me throughout the day about the delivery time) and even went so far as to create a false signature in order to argue that they had delivered the ladders on the Friday evening. Next, on Monday morning, the delivery company agreed that they did not understand what had happened and that the ladders were still in the depot (Monday) despite up until that point arguing that the ladders had been delivered. Having complained to Ladders4sale, I was told that the ladders were on the truck for today (Monday). I responded to them saying that this was no good as there was no-one to accept them and that leaving them on the drive represented a security risk. They agreed with this. Laddres4sale agreed and we arranged, in writing on Monday, a Saturday delivery. Despite this, they delivered the ladders on Monday at some point. They left them on the drive and did not even call or email to let me know. Basically, there's a high level of incompetence somewhere in this supply chain and Ladders4sale does not really have a full grasp of what their supply chain is doing. After all this, the ladders are damaged and I have requested them to be collected. There are plenty of ladders suppliers out there; this was too much hassle.

I ordered a pair of steps using the lowest delivery charge of 5 days.
They came in two days. Good quality and excellent delivery!

Called them, paid extra for fast delivery, on the day of delivery "supplier forgot..." no apology. Time wasters.
