Can't edit mistakes...
There was a typographical error made by the applicant and he only caught it after the information was submitted. We emailed LS to update the mistake and they are not able to. Client would have to spend another $45 to redo the application. We went to another company. I'm not sure I will continue using them in the future for my clients.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave a review! Previously the income amount was reflected on TransUnion's reports, so we had no way to update that once the reports were submitted. They made an update that removed the income information from the report, though we still provide that on your summary page as part of Income vs Rent section. The income that your potential tenant provides in no way affects the tenant screening report provided, only that Income vs Rent on the summary page.
Our dev team was able to update this information for you, using the information you provided to our customer service team. The customer service team has also been alerted to our ability to do this now as well. If you have an applicant that has this issue in the future, please reach out and we can make the same update for them as well.

I could get a credit check quickly for…
I could get a credit check quickly for tenant 1. Tenant 2 had issues that sent here to TransUnion. We never did figure out what that meant.
Tried to change E-mail for Tenant 2, but the system would not let me change it a second time. (1st was to correct typo)
Ultimately she had to show me copies of her credit report another way.

landlordStation did a backgroud and went back 15 years . Instead of the normal 7 years. this is not right.

Hi, Jacob! A tradeline is going to look at the last date verified or, if it's closed, that closed date. A line of credit (such as a credit card) can be open for years and remain active, so a credit history will look at the verified date.
We cannot provide any specific details about the report run because 1) this is an open review site and 2) we cannot verify your identity here, but the landlord who ordered this report and has an account with us is welcome to reach out to our customer service team with any questions that they may have about the report or you may reach out directly to TransUnion. That is the credit agency that provides the credit information on our reports.
