Easy online booking with quick response. Service is well organised and clear instruction provided for access. You will also recieve a reminder email to ensure things you need to prepare before boarding. Vehicle is spotless clean and chauffeur is nice.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET AND THERE WELLBEING DO NOT USE. They refused to turn on Air Conditioning during a heat warning/advisory because it costs too much money and uses too many bars of fuel....I am honestly surprised they have not had any animals with heat stroke or a death. If that wasn't reason enough, here are some other fun experiences from our journey below

The Paperwork- When they send you the paperwork you need, there list is by no means thorough. 1. If a paper copy of an ETA is not acceptable, please tell us that. 2. If we need to have the UK application endorsed by the DDPP, tell us that.

The Staff - RUDE RUDE AND RUDE. The attitude and general unfriendliness from the CSR to the driver made it a horrible experience.

The Experience - safety was not a priority, not using two bars of fuel was. I would understand if It was a normal day, but the temperature was over 38 celsius and thy flat out told us it costs too much. They have zero care for safety.

Our crossing with Lepetexpress was great. The whole proccess, from the booking to the actual journey, was very smooth and conducted in a efficient manner. Also,there was their punctual and kind support both with the pets documents and the logistic info.
Our driver , Ricardo, was very nice and helpful.

Travelling from France to the UK with my dog felt quite daunting, but this company made the whole experience so much easier. They were incredibly helpful in checking that all the paperwork and documents were correct before travelling, which gave me real peace of mind and took away a lot of the stress.

Le Pet Express provided amazing service from start to finish. Nico was incredibly helpful reviewing all of my documents and making sure everything was ready for international pet travel. He guided me through the border crossing process and answered every question along the way.

One funny thing—Nico told me I would probably be disappointed with Borough Market in London. I'm happy to report he was wrong about that one! I absolutely loved it. Thankfully, his advice on pet transport was far more accurate than his food market recommendations.

Traveling a pet from Alaska to the UK is a complicated process, but Le Pet Express made it as stress-free as possible. Professional, knowledgeable, and always available when I needed help. I highly recommend them to anyone planning international pet travel.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! ESPECIALLY BRENDA!
Brenda is the most rude lady that either me or my partner have ever met in our entire life.
She first gave us a scare by harshly telling us that our travel certificates wouldn't cut it (despite them being done by military base vets whose job is to do them for PCS), but the entire drive there, they way she talked to us and the other passenger was as if she was a mean teaching who treated us like school children going on a school trip.
Never in my life has someone been so condescending and outright rude.
It was a red flag when she quite literally shouted out her window swearing at a woman in french in the car park who was just doing their job.
She had a go at the other passenger because he didn't know how to lock the cage (which in itself was so weird that we couldn't have our small dog (who was already in a travel bag) with me. She even told me I had to lock my hand bag up.
She was absolutely foul. If you want a stress free journey, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Brenda, you need to stop treating people like trash because one day, if you treat someone like a school kid, they might teach you a lesson. Genuinely, you need to re-evaluate your behaviour.

Lepetexpress is such an important business, helping people like me, who doesn't drive, take their pets across the channel. Nigel (the driver) was great. Had a nice chat with him. Had a nice trick that actually worked calming my Malinois during the trip. He was calm throughout the trip. And was great I could sit next to my dog. Will use again.

Brilliant service. From start to finish, you are guided through the process. The team does this daily and understands what is needed to get you and your pet(s) safely across the border at either end. The most important thing is that you listen to their advice and allow them to help you. I would certainly be using Le Pet Express on future trips into Europe with my dog,

I had a good overall experience with the pet travel service. The team was helpful, professional, and clearly experienced in handling the process, which made everything much less stressful.

The only downside was that there were quite a lot of dogs barking during the process. However, I understand that this is something quite natural in such an environment and not really something they can fully control.

Overall, I appreciate their support and would recommend their service.

This service made bringing my dog to Europe incredibly easy. Everything is super intuitive, and I honestly didn’t have to think about anything—they took care of it all. The reminders and checklists before departure were extremely helpful and removed so much stress. The team is polite, flexible, and clearly very experienced with dogs. I felt supported the entire time and would absolutely recommend them to anyone traveling with a pet.

Great company, would recommend. It's really a vital service since there are limited options for getting into the UK with a dog. This is an affordable and easy to use solution, I found them very professional and knowledgeable and will use their service again for sure.

I was taking my dog from France to the UK, we all know how logistically challenging that can be.
Le Pet Express made the experience seamless and stress free. From booking online and choosing the time and date and admin side of things to being collected at Calais Fréthun train station and being taken across the chanel via Le Shuttle and being dropped off at Ashford international train station. Our driver was lovely jolly gentleman that has an amazing sense of humour and is absolute professional! The mini van is nice and cozy accomodating 5 passengers and there are 6 cages for pets. You sit right across your pet the whole time so you can supervise them yourself. I'd definitely use them again if I ever have the need because for the price and the whole experience for my dog and myself it's so worth it!

Best service ever!

First time using this service and everything went smoothly, the Folkestone to Calais journey was fantastic, the driver was extremely helpful, sensing my anxiety over my paperwork, he assured me everything was in order. The Calais to Folkestone journey was also fine, my dog was much more relaxed on the way back. I found the overall service smooth, stress free and without hiccups. The checklist they provide is clear and detailed to make sure everything is in order for the crossing. Having had a nightmare trip once coming back from Calais a few years ago, it was good to have a company who gives clear instructions on the vaccination requirements both to and from France. It was also great to be able to travel with my dog, although she was caged, she stayed mostly calm as she could see me and I could give her reassurance.

I would leave a 10 star review if I could! From the moment we booked the shuttle, the complex and frankly very stressful procedure of bringing my son and his cat back from Vietnam to the UK was made so much easier with Le Pet Express's help and knowledge. Brenda even called me one evening and very kindly gave me 20 mins of her advice and time. Not just that but after almost 48 hours of travelling, my son and his cat were made very comfortable in the van driven by the extremely friendly Stephane. If you need to get a pet across the channel from France to UK, this is the way to do it - far less expensive than a private taxi, simple and clear instructions and a reliable team. I hope we never have to bring another pet across continents(!), but would use them again in a heartbeat. Simply can't recommend highly enough.

We arrived at our station quite early, but so did Stephane. He took our excess luggage, went over our paperwork well in advance, and directed us to a nearby village so we could walk our dog while we waited.
The drive and border crossing was phenomenal. It was clear Stephane maintained a great rapport with most of the staff, ensuring we were fully compliant with border procedures while also making everything as smooth and efficient as possible for everyone involved.

The service was top shelf, but Stephane brought so much more than that to the table. He was welcoming, friendly, courteous, and as it would happen - an incredibly good driver.

Cannot recommend them enough, one of the highlights of our entire journey. Above and beyond anything we could have expected.
