AVOID LMV REMOVAL COMPANY – Unprofessional, Destructive, and Incompetent

In my 36 years of dealing with various businesses, I have never encountered a company as utterly disastrous as LMV Removal Company. Calling them a "professional" service is a blatant lie; they are a complete sham.

Our experience with LMV has been nothing short of a nightmare. They didn’t just fail at their job; they actively caused thousands of pounds worth of damage. They managed to deface our brand-new home and, most devastatingly, they completely destroyed a sentimental wardrobe gifted to us by my late father-in-law. This wasn't just furniture; it was an irreplaceable family heirloom, handled with a reckless attitude and an appalling lack of care.

The incompetence starts at the top and trickles down to every single unskilled staff member they employ. We have had over 20 different tradesmen working in our home recently, and not one of them caused a fraction of the stress, loss, and physical destruction that LMV did.

If you value your belongings, your home, and your sanity, do not hire this company. They are clearly out of their depth when handling high-end furniture and lack the basic expertise required for a standard move. They didn't just move us; they ruined the entire experience of moving into our new home.

I will be warning every friend, family member, and colleague to stay far away from this outfit. Avoid them at all costs.

I dont think I have ever had a worse experience.
After agreeing a price giving exact details of pick up, drop off and amount of box’s needing picking up, also having someone at pick up and delivery to load and unload and finally organised the pick up exactly at the timing agreed.
Then I find out they are fifty percent more expensive than there competitor's, was still happy my job or so I thought was getting done.
Then I receive an email saying that they had undercharged me by £28 and if I didnt pay immediately they would refuse to deliver my goods.
Disgraceful behaviour, despicable company, would never use again and would advise others to be very careful.

Avoid at all costs

LMV Transport offerred a bespoke move service to collect a large amount of belongings from my friend from one corner of London and to drop them to me on complete other side, at short notice and with an effective price. Care was taken of the belongings and everything was in order. Casper who booked the job was very good at providing updates when requested and professional as were the movers. Overall a 5 star experience!

Really great experience. I actually booked a van that was too small for my belongings, but the movers did absolutely everything they could to find spaces for them to fit, whilst keeping my items safe. They even then helped me load my car with additional items, they went above and beyond. They were super friendly, good with my dog (which was barking at their van!) and delivered the whole service with a smile.
Having had a previous DREADFUL experience with any van, I would recommend LMV to all my friends and family in future based on both the service I received and the price.

Worse moving experience of my life and I have moved close to 10 times in different countries. I was scammed and led into purchasing services that the driver Sebastian refused to provide laughing in my face when I said I had booked unpacking services and letting me know that the company’s goal is for people to book longer slots so the work can be completed in less time and the company can take that revenue in a very dishonest way. I have back issues and I have injured myself moving the weight and things that the movers left in a complete mess - had I know the unpacking service was a scam I would have never booked this service as I had other quotes. The driver lied to me in my face and told me I was going to he refunded so he could leave as quickly as possible despite having paid for 5h of service that they finished in 3 and even from the outset he only got 1h of parking so the intention was to not complete the service. I have called many times to the office and they don’t seem to have any intention to refund me and they did not even apologise for the issues and extreme distress they caused me, the rudeness of the driver and how I was overall scammed by them. WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. Because of you I am having loads of stress and anxiety from this moving and I will need to spend way more than what you don’t want to refund me on physio fees to fix my back and neck that are extremely injured now. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Initially service was ok but didn’t pay the parking fine deposit back and are now unresponsive.

London Man Van did a great job with my move. They navigated a tricky move from a houseboat to a second floor flat. They were on time, professional, and efficient. Thank you very much for the good service.

Great experience with LMV. I booked only a few days in advance, got very nice help over the phone with my reservation, and had a fantastic experience with Casper and Kahn with the move.

LMV quoted for and took money for an area they do not cover. Their booking system is a joke. Badly let down. This should not be possible. I build systems like their booking system and it is a simple process to only allow it to quote for locations you operate within. Several days for a refund when i have to pay a replacement service more money TODAY to fix the error LMV allowed to happen is unacceptable. It is not my fault that their system allows quotes for areas they don't cover.

I was in need of a "man and a van" service as I had a bit of stuff left over from a move. After going through a handful of services, London Man Van stood out to me as they had a transparent pricing and an easy to book service. Paulina did a great job answering all of my questions during the booking.

The day of, the driver showed up on time and worked with me to get everything loaded and took great care with my delicate items. I also booked with the service to ride with the truck which saved me on an Uber/Taxi.

For any of my moving or removal needs in the future, LMV will be my first pick.

Kacper was very polite, courteous, and took good care of the furniture. Even rebuilt furniture they had to dismantle. Completed the job in a reasonable amount of time, and stayed until the job was completed. Would recommend.

Manuel was genuinely super sweet and very helpful - made my other stressful moving experience so delightful. He was on time, was very quick and collaborative while loading, drove really carefully and was patient through figuring out the setup at the new place. Very grateful for the support I had on the day. Paulina was also lovely to organise and follow up on the service! Would highly recommend and will definitely use their service the next time I move as well!

We used London Van Man twice for an event in London – they were fantastic! Very easy to select/arrange collection times. Drove straight to the venue so no delays. Brought straps etc so all our kit was secured safely, plus sack trolleys. The team were fantastic. Great communication to notify us when they were due to arrive. Pricing was competitive too.
