After talking to the owner, I am very happy with his explanation and dealing with the whole situation. He promised me taking me to the Toyota parts centre and fixing an original lambda sensor to fix the exhaust issue. If Wasif was honest and helpful, the whole disappointment could be avoided. Changing 1 stat to 5 for respect and handling the situation in the most professional manner.

I have made a booking using whocanfixmycar to Luton Automotive 1 for a loose exhaust, which needed immediate attention and needed to screw tightly. But when I arrived the owner was not there but Wasif, the owner of S&S CAR REPAIR was there. He took my car, gave me his card and asked me to call that number since the owner of Luton automotive is doing outside, and later told me I need two arms and a connector to fix my exhaust which cost me around £500.

I have 0 knowledge about cars, so I trusted his sweet lies and paid. After a month when I noticed my fuel consumption is going down dramatically, I investigated and found a new after-market exhaust was fitted instead of my original one. When I rang this person and asked him about replacing the exhaust, he admitted it and told he did it. But he never asked my permission for it. And where is my original exhaust? No answer. When I asked for an answer, for the last two months he is giving the excuse of his sickness and that he will find out for me when he is back to the garage, but then also saying he is working on so many cars every day so he can't remember mine.

So it feels like I handed £500 to a thief along with my original Prius exhaust to sell it to another thief.

Just feeling helpless, I can only pull my hair or bang my head on the wall now for trusting this person.

And the owner of Luton automotive is equally responsible for allowing him to be in his business in his absence.

Since my review is published in Google he permanently closed his business but now he will come up with a new name and steal from others.

So please remember his mobile number and be safe from fraudsters like this.

Called up Luton automotive and they did same day service for my recovery truck screen. Great full as I have a very big business and would loose my contract worth a lot they went out of their way and put me back on the road asap. Didn’t even charge extra for all the headaches I gave them. Great team. Great work. Thanks

I should give 5* but I am giving 2* because of 2 things I didn't like.
1. I have to wait more than 2 and a half hours just for the parts to come. I know I have to wait but 2 and half hrs its a long wait for me but service was quick.
2. They said they will use ''engine oil original OEM SHELL HELIX'' but they used a different brand of oil called ''NAPA''. This is also a good product but SHELL is better and I have been told 'SHELL'. And other parts said ''MANN OEM'' but used ''NAPA''. AT LEAST ENGINE OIL SHOULD BE 'OEM SHELL HELIX' THAT YOU PROMISED. (TOOK PICTURES) But the rest- communication was good and service was good.

Your reply has show who you are, you want me to pay £60 upfront before you can diagnose a van which I question you reason. I have never see a mechanic ask money upfront before service Meanwhile I never ask you free service.
