I've had such a great experience with them so far. I had a query about adding a new qualification to my insurance which the provider didn't have listed in their usual duties for my role. The advisor, Harry, contacted them directly and within 14 hours it was sorted, new certs emailed and no extra cost! Plus they're so kind and easy to talk to. I was in a meeting and my team said 'you're the only person I know to come out of a call with your insurers smiling'... so that says it all really. Thanks Harry and thanks Marsh/Oxygen Insurance.

I have used this insurance broker since I started up in 2019 (used to be NAPIT insurance). Later that year I had my van broken into and my tools stolen. After I sent them the information required I was paid out within 5 days. Which was great!
Something seems to have changed for the worse and I have now had a claim on going since May 2023 and all I get is an email asking for more information, after taking weeks to respond. I had to take out a loan to buy new tools at this time because I need them to run my business! I have also learned that since my policy started they have also snook in a new policy of not paying out as much if the theft happens overnight, without informing me. It just has it in the small print at the end of the policy. If I had known this I would have paid the extra premium or used an insurance company that will pay out when my vehicle and tools are most vulnerable.
After this experience I will never use them again.

Been with them for 2 years they provide our business insurance for Homecare. Only ever reply once your renewal is due. Had a query about my insurance had 14 days to respond to the local authority, contacted the branch via emails, website etc. No response! STAY CLEAR. CHRISTINE DONT EMAIL ME FOR A RENEWAL YOUR COMPANY IS A JOKE!

Today I tried to close an online quote with Marsh but had some questions, called and spoke with Ben Aldred and couldn't be happier with the service provided and the product I have ended up with. Most helpful conversation I have had with an insurer for my business. Specific policies to suit my business activities and provide the right level of cover at a reasonable price.

So wonderful to speak to a real person!! I wasn't held in a queue but was offered the opportunity to have a call back. This happened in about ten minutes. Harry was business-like as appropriate but also flexible when I asked for help because I sometimes struggle with things like accessing documents through a portal. A very good experience..and the price for my policy is the same as last year.

You can always tell the quality of an insurance broker, not by the cost of the product but what happens when you make a claim. Let me show you how Ben Foley Williams of Marsh Commercial goes over and above what is needed.

A couple of months ago our insurance for our clinic came up for renewal. My Mum was having her hair done and her hairdresser recommended Marsh Commercial.

So, I gave them a call and got put through to a gentleman called Ben Foley Williams. OK to make life easier I had the policy document from the year before. Then he asked me a load of questions. Then he told me how we were paying for a whole load of things we didn’t need and weren’t covered for a whole load of things we did need. That horrified me.

However, when the quote came through Ben had saved our company £300 which is nothing to be sneezed at.

I was very impressed. We rent our flats as well. So, I diarised an email to send to him one month before the insurance was up for renewal. I sent him the existing policy documents showing the expiry date.

He did the same thing again. This time he saved us another £300 for a better level of cover.

However, then he went the extra mile or should I say 10 miles. With the heavy storms hitting the UK the roof of one of our properties started leaking. I emailed him and then the claims department of Marsh Commercial. Then Ben rang me, although he does new business, he took over completely. He told me to get an emergency roofer, send me an estimate of the cost and a report from that roofer. We had done this. He sent me an email to confirm all this and told me he was my primary contact in this matter and he would deal with this. When these things happen it’s incredibly stressful. Ben clearly understood that and within one conversation I went from being highly stressed to back to normal within minutes. It is my understanding that this is standard practice at Marsh Commercial and so I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I may be James Bond 007, but Ben Foley Williams is truly the Master Yoda of insurance and I promise you he’ll leave you shaken but not stirred.
