Thank you for the fantastic 5-star review. We’re really pleased to hear you were happy with the work, the turnaround time and the price.
It’s also great to hear that our full vehicle health check gave you that extra peace of mind. That’s exactly why we carry them out — to give you a clear picture of your vehicle’s condition, highlight anything that needs attention and, most importantly, help ensure your car is safe and roadworthy.
Thank you for choosing MB MOTORS and for taking the time to share your experience. We really appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you again.
Main Dealer levels of Service, without the high price.
I used MB Motors last year for the Service and MOT on my Audi A5 Quattro. Most recently they rectified a leaking exhaust for me. The day after the repair there was a slight issue with the repair. They promptly collected my car, rectified it, valeted it and delivered it back home.
No matter how careful work is carried out things can go wrong, that is just a fact of life. The measure of a good company is how they deal with the problem. Having worked for Motor Manufacturers and Distributors for over 40 years I have seen some great garages and some awful ones. The service MB give ranks among the best.

Thank you for such a fantastic 5-star review and for continuing to trust MB MOTORS with your Audi A5 Quattro.
We particularly appreciate your comments about how we handled the issue following your exhaust repair. We take great pride in the standard of our workmanship, but we also recognise that occasionally things can happen. For us, what matters is taking responsibility, responding quickly and putting things right with as little inconvenience to the customer as possible.
To hear someone with over 40 years of experience working with motor manufacturers and distributors say that the service we provide ranks among the best genuinely means a great deal to our entire team.
Thank you again for your continued custom, your understanding and for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We look forward to looking after your Audi for many years to come.

Very misleading booking system
Very misleading booking system, having booked online, the price for my E class B service was from £236, So fair enough, it's not an exact quotation even though reg number was supplied, but when the confirmation link came through the price had jumped to £449, £213 more than the price at book in. Sorry but how can I trust a garage that runs this practice, so glad I picked this up the before handing my car over.
This review is for the booking in process, not the quality of workmanship as I cancelled the service and have since gone elsewhere. Such a shame as I was looking for a local garage to service my cars and this looks like a well set up workshop.

Antwoord van MB MOTORS Rugeley
Thank you for your review. However, it is important that anyone reading this understands what actually happened.
Our booking system clearly displayed a “from” price of £236, not a fixed quotation. Once the exact manufacturer requirements for your particular Mercedes E-Class B Service were confirmed, we contacted you well before your appointment and provided the full price of £449. You therefore knew the exact cost before bringing the vehicle to us, no work was carried out and you were not charged anything.
Thousands of customers use our online booking system every year without issue. “From” pricing is necessary because vehicles of the same model can require different quantities and specifications of oil, filters, parts and manufacturer procedures. Supplying a registration number helps us identify the vehicle, but it does not turn an advertised starting price into a final quotation before those requirements have been checked.
We service vehicles properly to the manufacturer’s specification, using OEM-quality parts, the correct premium oil and the required service procedures, including updating the electronic service record. That level of service carries a cost. A cheaper price elsewhere does not automatically mean the same parts, oil, procedures or standard of work are included.
You chose another garage based on the confirmed price, which is entirely your decision. However, describing our process as misleading is neither accurate nor fair. We were completely transparent, confirmed the price in advance and gave you the opportunity to accept or decline it before your appointment. As you cancelled and never used our workshop, this review relates solely to your dissatisfaction with the price of a service you decided not to purchase, not to our workmanship, customer care or the quality of our servicing.
Come back to a puncture and oil life…
Come back to a puncture and oil life not reset
28 augustus 2026
Antwoord van MB MOTORS Rugeley
We feel it is important to clarify the points raised in this review, as we have already spoken with you directly and explained the circumstances.
Firstly, the oil/service life indicator was not reset because your vehicle was not serviced by MB MOTORS during this visit. We cannot reset a service indicator to record or imply that a service has been completed when it has not. Doing so would create an inaccurate vehicle maintenance record and would not be an honest or professional practice. This was explained to you during our telephone conversation.
Regarding the puncture, your vehicle did not have a puncture when it left our premises. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for a puncture caused by a nail, screw, road debris or another external factor after a vehicle has left our care. Nevertheless, when you contacted us about the issue, we offered to inspect and repair the puncture for you.
We will always take responsibility where something is attributable to work we have carried out. However, in this instance, we cannot reasonably accept responsibility for a puncture occurring after the vehicle left our premises, nor would we incorrectly reset a service indicator for a service that was not carried out.

Antwoord van MB MOTORS Rugeley
hank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and for your kind comments about our friendly team.
We would just like to clarify that the issue which resulted in the vehicle returning to us was investigated and was not caused by the wet belt replacement we had carried out.
Nevertheless, when you contacted us, we arranged to get the vehicle back into MB MOTORS Rugeley straight away. Our team investigated the separate issue and ensured it was rectified as quickly as possible, allowing us to get the vehicle completed and back to you within the required timeframe.
Customer aftercare is extremely important to us, and even though the subsequent issue was unrelated to the original wet belt repair, we were happy to assist and get everything resolved promptly.
Thank you again for choosing MB MOTORS Rugeley and for your positive comments about our team.
