Great fast service next day delivery

Quick delivery, very poor instructions, no manual, youtube video very unclear. Manual for controls very confusing and only available after delivery. Very disappointed as I still have issues with the operation of the bike and will never buy from Merkx again.

Great responsive sales advice from Megan and received the bike within a week of ordering. It was relatively easy to assemble watching the video instructions (at half speed!)
I'm really happy with the Cargo bike for the money I paid. It feels solid and has enough power to get me up reasonably steep hill where I live. I love that the accessories are reasonably priced (I paid $60 each for the kiddie safety railing and cargo basket which I have been able to attach to the front carrier, although it would habe been good if the predrilled holes on the cargo basket were also drilled on the front carrier. It is designed to go on the back, but since I have kids in the back I needed a big basket up front. The two batteries feature is also good. I drained my first one and could switch to the second one to get home. I got about 50ks out of a single charge of both batteries, but I am living at the top of a hill so frequently using level three assist.
Basically this bike is good value in my book at $2,400 all up with accessories. Any comparable cargo bikes are about $3,500 to 4,500 with heavy price tags on the accessories (nearly $350 for a kiddie rail and seat padding on the cargo tail!). The 2 year warranty is a big bonus and I believe the customer service will be good if I need it, based on other reviews, which were also consistent with my purchase experience. There is zero branding on the bike which indicates a straight from source scenario, but this seems to have helped considerably lower the price. Overall I would recommend the cargo bike if you are looking for this type of bike for school runs etc. My daughter loves hollering to all her friends as we whizz past. She has dubbed it "Zoomer"! I was nervous because the bike is a recent addition to Merkx range and there were no other reviews. Other than the occasional gear slip which I will get around to adjusting, everything has worked perfectly out of the box and its a fun ride. Handles well on grass also with the fat tyres. Hope this review helps others who are looking. I am really happy with the extra daily incidental exercise im getting (I still need to pedal hard to get up the hills, its not a cruiser!) But this is what I was looking for.

It was a fast and straightforward process in all regards. Even though a little thing is still missing I learned a lot via the offered tutorials. I did my first ride out today and that on my usual daily commute and it was a full success. Service and Quality are on high level

Have been using my S600 for work & paddle club commute daily for a week now. An excellent purchase! Great robust design & very well built. Excellent craftsmanship! At 35-40kg the shocks back & front, hydraulic disc brakes & wide soft saddle make for a very stable & comfortable ride. The dual motors give this bike a lot of grunt especially up hill (which is what attracted me to this model) & a very exciting road ride... The combination of gear selection & PAS setting for different topographies & conditions is key to using this ebike. Highly recommend buying a pair of rear view mirrors especially if using in urban settings. Clearly, the bike is be well set-up for offroad/ hybrid use though have yet to test off road.

Still getting familiar with the various code settings. Two or 3 more top gear cogs for downhill would make this machine perfect.

Absolutely recommend this for people ok with the heavier & more powerful ebikes. Top marks Merx/ Shengmilo!!!

I've only used 3 times and im 120 kilometres and the peddles are grinding and the peddle arms have lost their fread becouse they have made them aluminium it's shit put it bluntly is their a warranty on these bikes ?

Had the bike for over a week and still no battery. Due to the weight of the bike it’s not really possible to ride it without battery assistance

The staff were helpful, the bike arrived in 4 days, and it ticked all the boxes that I needed it to do. And it is nice to ride.

The communication was fantastic with Megan at Merkxs bikes Melbourne after the first bike came then the batteries. There was quite a delay with the second bike of which the communication with Megan was second to none.

Great bike for the price great service but you may have to peddle more than I do to get the kilometres out of the battery love it

service is very good, packaging was ok, I would highly recommend them guys, my only minor very little thing was two things didnt come in the box however they have been great replying to me and are sending me the missing items. great service products great have someone in the family looking to buy a second bike of them now lol..

My new MX06 was delivered within a few days, followed by the battery a few days later. It was very easy to put together. I love the sturdy build quality, and the ride experience is even better than I anticipated. The only down side is that the handlebar stem is not height adjustable. I'm fairly tall (178cms) and have the seat height set at a comfortable 14cm, but this tips me forward too much and puts all the weight on my arms, which soon becomes wearing, so I got my local bike shop to fit a 'handlebar stem' height extender ($80) which lifts it by 8cms. The whole package is now perfect, and I recommend this bike to everyone.
