Review more about staff - namely Simon - with regard to boot fitting- went in randomly as needed new boots - he was super knowledgeable & helpful & I am very pleased with my first pair of boots - went back - specifically when Simon was available for a second pair of every day boots - spot on ! thanks

With my desert trek 3 months away, Simon provided invaluable information and advice from footwear to water bottles, breathable hats to sun protection and cooling techniques. You should get him to give a talk at the Adventure Travel Show. Amazing service and a really down to earth and friendly guy!

A great experience today with Rocco, buying walking boots and other walking gear. Rocco was super-friendly, really listened well to what I wanted, and bothered to get a footwear specialist colleague in, to check I'd got the right choice and size of walking boots. Very happy with the highly professional, personalised and relevant service I received. Also, good technical advice on the other clothing. Extra pleased that was able to get some great prices in the current sale. Thanks very much!

I needed camping and trekking gear- the help I got from Andy and Simon was tremendous! Not a single blister on a 100km trek due to well fitting boots and socks. Warm nights with an OEX sleeping bag and mattress, and great advice on how to keep warm. OEX raincoat was fabulous too- really recommend.

We had a damaged berghaus porch and had been advised by the online customer support centre to take the item to our local store for assessment. Andy assisted us and despite some concerns over the advice we had previously been given resolved the issue to our satisfaction. Andy was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Both Simon & Ben were fantastic when we needed to kit my daughter out for her Bronze DofE last year. They helped us with everything, which was fantastic as a family who knew nothing! So incredibly grateful. We recommended several of daughter’s friends go there too and they had the same brilliant service! Unsure of the exact date of our visit now (better late than never!)

Simon in uckfield has helped me out on two occasions with purchasing camping gear (first time camper). He's been extremely knowledgeable and helpful, not at all pushy re sales, and very patient with my wild children in tow! We returned to Uckfield Millets because Simon was so knowledgeable and helpful. Simon was day off so a young lady Phoenix served me. She was as good as Simon in knowledge and being helpful. She explained how water repellency was rated and ensured that my new boots had enough room when my feet were hot during a day's walk.

Today I had the pleasure of dealing with two very kind employees, Issac and Simon. They were extremely helpful, easy to talk to and were really helpful at helping me pick some boots out for a mountain I am going to be climbing in Wales in the next week. Lovely atmosphere, extremely helpful employees, and I highly recommend the shop!
