Amazing response - Becca handled our initial contact - professional, helpful, positive ( NO AI BOT) and showed a complete understanding of our Oil Tank issue.

Within 1/2 an hour we received a message back and subsequently appointment for an engineer visit all arranged.

Very confident we are in good hands.

Minus 10 wasn’t available, never use this company, they refused to deliver to us because of a bad past experience with this same company( spilled the oil everywhere and didn’t clean it up !!! ))
Now the oil price has doubled over night to £800 + for our delivery
Would never use or recommend ever !!!

Delivery dates suggested and then not met, without any communication, to confirm date would be missed. Complained and promised a call back, which did not happen. Further call and still left without a firm date, no understanding or empathy, only a dismissive and arrogant response. You pay for the service upfront and then are completely left without any solution or customer service, when deliveries are not made on time.

On 16 April 2025, I received a call from your team confirming the delivery for the following day. However, on 17 April, I contacted your office at approximately 2:50 PM to inquire about the delivery time and was informed that the driver would arrive shortly. An hour later, I called again and was told the driver was in the next postcode and should be with me soon. After 5:00 PM, I made another call and was informed that the delivery would not occur that day as the driver was over two hours away, and no guarantee could be provided for the next delivery date.

This lack of timely delivery and inconsistent information has caused significant inconvenience, especially considering the essential nature of heating oil.
I would not recommend using you again

Really pleasant to deal with. Waiting time of delivery explained clearly and asked if we had enough oil to last until delivery date. Text of scheduled delivery received a few days before due date and delivery arrived when expected.

Really disappointed with the lack of communication. My parents are very vulnerable and have been left without heating or hot water for over a week.

They were initially told there was an issue with delivery vehicles, which of course is understandable and not within the company’s control, but we were told they were added to a priority list and would receive a delivery by early this week.

The delivery never arrived, and we’ve had no updates or explanations. Have now cancelled and gone with another company who can offer emergency deliveries. Really poor customer service and a shame not to continue using a local company.

Very poor service ! Ordered middle of Feb was told a 10day window! They kept putting date back . Oil so low we running on fumes! They promised to ring me back with a date on several occasions but no call was ever received.So cancelled order! Very disappointing. First time ordering and I wouldn’t order with this company again as service was shocking.

Do not spam emails. I've never delt with you or signed up to receive emails from you.

Not great…used this company for the first time in our new home, and have been told it will be after the latest delivery date, and we are very short of oil. We’ve never had a late delivery with the other companies in the last 13-14 years. Maybe we have been lucky before, maybe unlucky this time.

Weeks after the promised delivery date my oil still hadn't been delivered.

I ended up cancelling the order and going elsewhere.

Moorland Fuels were one a brilliant company - hence all the 5 star reviews from years ago. I used them frequently.

But had a couple of late orders and the final order was very late. I avoid them now.

Whether this review will be published I'm not sure. Trustpilot keep removing negative reviews of this company, giving a false impression.

Reliable, with, efficient, polite tanker drivers - despite narrow Cornish lanes. The office staff with whom I have had contact are always polite, efficient, and knowledgable, all very customer centred, and a pleasure to deal with. An excellent example of a company that is focussed on providing an excellent service. Highly recommended!

You should not use this company. They promise a delivery. They were several days late. They do not value customers, they do not record conversations accurately. Be warned!!!! So much backwards and forwards.Further twists of truth in reply.

Ok - we ordered 500l of heating oil from Boiler Juice on 5th September with a 7 day waiting time, so delivery by 12th - supplier who quoted and accepted was Moorland Fuels. 12th comes and no contact from Moorland themselves but an email from BJ to say Moorland not yet confirmed order on the way. I spoke directly to Moorland who offered no apology but advised deliveries delayed and a delay should have been registed in BJ system - however our oil would be with us latest 18th. BJ confirmed to us that no contact had been received re delays -and would chase Moorland - esp as we were getting very low on oil. 18th arrives - no oil. Phoned Moorland who advised could be several days yet as drivers sick - still no contact from them themselves or delay advised to BJ. Told Moorland it has to be soon or we will run out of fuel. No apology from them - just a bit of attitude. Anyway the guy said he would attamto to deliver the following day. Finally arrived at 4.30pm with no advance notice.

Now, Moorland used to be excellent but for some reason it has all gone to pot there and it is shame. We have marked our BJ account not to use Moorland in future due to the poor service and reading other reviews, we are not an exception.

Sorry Moorland- would have loved to give you a decent review, but you guys need to get yourselves better sorted with deliveries as we will no longer use you.

An utter disgrace of a company. Promised oil would be delivered yesterday. No show. Said it would definitely arrive today and we were first on the list. 3pm, nothing. Called them to be told it's definitely still coming. An hour later they call back to say it's not coming. Now left for the weekend with no hot water, no heating and no oven.

If you enjoy being constantly lied to, use Moorland fuels. Naturally we never will again.

We've been many times and love it, but today (fathers day) it was delicious. It was really busy when we arrived and still busy when we left. The food was amazing especially the gammon and the beef. The staff are lovely and really helpful even though they must have been running back and forth none stop. Thank you!

As always, great service from moorland fuels. Driver Ryan c was friendly and quickly got my oil in the tank. I wish you could paint an animal on his tanker, I like to try to collect them all 😍

I was very pleased with the service from Moorland fuels, and would definitely recommend them to others.
