I found myself in a very challenging situation with the car insurance -Hastings after my car was involved in a non-fault accident. The body shop they selected for the repairs did a terrible job, and even after reporting it and sending the car back, the post-repair condition was even worse. I filed three formal complaints with Hastings, but all I received was an insulting £40 compensation cheque, which I refused.

What an absolute joke.... making money out of other people's ignorance.....his write up says he is an ' appropriately qualified person'.......... the reason the ombudsman is in place is to prevent people like this taking money off you!!!! You can get this advice for free.... don't be fooled into this

Using the motor claim guru's services was the best decision I made. I had a no fault claim, with the third party admitting liability. Both the third party and I were with the same insurer. The insurer did not act in my best interests. I was faced with only two options from the insurance company - either drop my claim and pay for the repairs to my own vehicle or take an insurance payout and have the car written off; this was all for a damaged front bumper, and after having had the third party admit liability Luckily I used Tim, and he came to my rescue. He was confident he would get me the outcome I wanted - to have my car repaired and not written off. Tim was very clear in his instructions, and he informed me via emails about the progress and any further information he would require. Due to Tim's brilliance, knowledge of the car insurance industry, and persistence, I got the outcome I wanted - it was all down to Tim. Tim Kelly was a massive help after I found myself in a awful situation when my car insurer advised me they were ‘cancelling’ my policy. Because they had advised me they were cancelling my insurance due to me misinforming them (which was not the case) I then had to find new Car Insurance and declare that I had had a policy cancelled, which doubled my price. Due to the situation I found myself in, Tim agreed to take my case PRO BONO which was unbelievably kind.
Thanks to Tim getting involved and laising with the complaints department on my behalf he was able to get them to agree or admit in writing that my insurance policy had not been cancelled and therefore I didn’t have to declare so. If it wasn't for Tim’s help, I would still be paying double the price for my Car Insurance and wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. Highly recommend.

Back in February of 2024 I was involved in a motoring incident whereby a third party vehicle entered my lane causing significant damage to my vehicle.

Was having a torrid time with my own insurer Markerstudy who refused to handle my no fault claim because they said I should have declared the water tanks I used for my work as a modification ! So my broker, my insurer, left me with written off van, and no insurance !

So i don't really know where to start to praise Tim enough.
On 30/10/23 i sent Tim an email with regards to my mini being parked up in a parking spot in a residential road in August 23. A motorist went into my car, hit a tree, crashed into another car and drove off. Thanks to CCTV we had a registration number. It was the start of a nightmare....my car was not road worthy, the insurance company would not let me take my car to Mini for an estimate, they had referred my claim to another company who were appalling, and wanted me to take it to there chosen repairer. We had 2 months of stress, upset and no car, even though i had paid for a courtesy car on my insurance. We then in desperation went to the other drivers insurance company who allowed us to take my mini to Mini Sytner for repairs and supplied us with a courtesy car - they decided the car should be written off and offered us a fraction of what the car was worth and then took the courtesy car back. It was so stressful and upsetting.
Finding Tim was a breath of fresh air to us. Within a day of contacting him, my insurance company called me to resolve the claim. Within a month i had my car back on the road repaired by Mini Sytner. I really can not thank Tim enough, he is a truly amazing man, so experienced and kind. I offered to pay him but he wouldn't take a penny from us. Without Tim my car would most definitely have been written off and we would have been out of pocket through no fault of our own. Tim is a genius, no words are great enough to praise him!!

Can't thank Tim enough really, 5 star service and he took all the stress away from us dealing with a horrible situation during a non fault claim.

Our car was crashed into back in March 2023 while parked at the side of the road. After calling our insurance company, Admiral, they insisted our car should be "written off" over the phone without a physical inspection! On reflection this should never have happened!

We paid £20k for a Toyota Alphard Hybrid which was the best price we could find one for. As the vehicle is a Japanese import and rare it doesn't appear on the usual valuation guides and so Admiral instructed an independent assessor to value the vehicle. The assessor clearly based their valuation on the more common non-hybrid models as the valuation came in at £12k! At the time of the accident we had only owned the vehicle for 6 weeks so there is no way it had lost 40% of its value in that time.

I asked Admiral to speak to the assessor several times, but they didn't contact them at all. I had to make a formal complaint, after 7/8 weeks of waiting Admiral opened an "investigation" and closed it on the same day. They STILL didn't contact the assessor! I asked for a copy of the report which openly invites Admiral to contact them to see examples of the vehicles used for the valuation (which I specifically asked them to do) and that the valuation was subject to purchase price and other factors which Admiral had evidence of yet did not provide.

It was at this point I was starting to lose all hope and that's when I found Tim's website and I got in touch for advice in May 2023. He promptly arranged to get an independent valuation on the vehicle which had the true value of the vehicle, the purchase price 6 weeks previous! After a long battle with Admiral and then a longer battle through the FOS which Tim thankfully took on for us, today we finally got the result we should have got at the start and it's all thanks to Tim!

I highly recommend anyone else in a similar dispute to contact Tim asap and let him take the stress of it all and use his expertise to get you the result you're entitled to! I just wish I knew about Tim at the start and had him take over, it would have saved me a lot of stress and sleepless nights!
