I dealt with Jeanette at Geoffrey Miller and instantly got the impression that she knew what I was facing. On the first initial call she took so much more detail from me than any other company. I knew they were the right company to go with. Got a better outcome than expected.

During September 2023 I was pulled over and arrested for several motoring offences including Drug Driving!

I was told by the arresting officer to do nothing until I heard back from them regarding my defence!

Then on the 9th march 24 I received a notice of criminal charges against me and my hearing was scheduled for the 18th April 24.
Suddenly I had just 5 weeks knowing the charges against me to build my defence!

I started my research online focusing on motoring law specialists and contacted several before contacting Geoffrey millers. None of these filled me with any confidence whatsoever!

My research of Geoffrey miller’s services and first contact through Elnaz Nejad was pivotal to the eventual outcome of my case !

At the first hearing on the 18th April a solicitor Mike Mckeown met me at court and acted on my behalf. Mike instantly put me at ease and I couldn’t have been more impressed with his handling and outcome of that hearing!

Special mention on the short notice of my hearing and continued help throughout the case goes to Austin Anderson Brettell.
From the hearing through to the trial his manor and attention to detail has dictated successfully the outcome in my favour. I can’t thank him enough for his efforts in my defence!

What a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The circumstances in which I needed to use the services of Geoffrey Miller Solicitors were bleak to say the least. Client care from beginning to end was faultless. Jeanette and Daisy were very communicative and explained my options in great detail so that I was able to make the most informed decision based on my options. They made me feel much better about the situation and really reassured me when I was feeling rather hopeless.
The court advocate appointed by Geoffery Miller, to represent me on the day of my court case was superb. He had studied my case in detail and was able to communicate my account to the magistrates very well. I do believe that without Geoffrey Miller Solicitors the outcome of my case could have been far worse than the penalty imposed on the day.

Found myself in the unfortunate position of defending a drink drive case from 26th dec 2023. After 6 months of waiting for my urine results to come back they came back over reading 189 and gave me my first court date. At that point given my job was on the line I decided to get some legal aid. I spoke with numerous solicitors but Geffroy Miller seemed to be a cut above the rest. They were not pushy, and seemed to be extremely on the ball and well informed. Austin who handled my case was nothing short of spectacular. Always on hand answering questions and giving sound advice. Austin argued the flaws in my case so well that the CPS dropped charges soon after my initial hearing so I was not needed to go to trial. GM are expensive but they are worth it and their results speaks for themselves. The management also take a very pragmatic view on fee’s and in my particular case given it was dropped so early were willing to cut down the amount despite being contracted to pay. This to me shows that as a firm they have their values in the right place and are fair! Which is rare to find. For anyone who is serious about defending a DD charge I would 100% recommend GM. Thanks again to Austin for his great work, he was a pleasure to deal with.

I engaged Geoffrey Miller to defend the allegation and was assigned Tara as the lead on my case. Tara has been absolutely fantastic throughout the process. Just to clarify, the CPS dragged this out for 20months!!! 20 months!!! Throughout, Tara was on hand, questioning every detail that was bought against us and ultimately closing down every argument the CPS bought. There was also a huge amount of work done by Tara an her team to keep me updated of everything that was happening and to keep me from going out of my mind with worry. Finally after all these months and numerous court attendances Tara and my trial barrister Richard had the case thrown out with no evidence and as such No Case to Answer. I genuinely cannot thank the team enough and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Geoffrey Millers, Tara & Richard should you find yourself in this, or any other motoring predicament.

In April 2023, I was pulled over and faced a drink driving charge. After scouring the internet to find the best solicitors for drink driving cases, I narrowed it down to two firms, ultimately choosing Geoffrey Miller, because they were able to connect with the expert witness I requested, Dr. Mundy. My first phone call was with Jeanette Miller over a weekend, and she was extremely professional, clearly explaining the process and giving me confidence in her firm.

People need to know that you pay for quality with Geoffrey Miller, so if you're not willing to pay the fee, go elsewhere and risk losing your case. I was later supported in preparation for my court date by my solicitor, Elizabeth Morrice. My advice is to follow their instructions to the letter and do everything they ask, when they ask. Special mention also has to go to Elnaz Nejad who also was instrumental in my preparation.

My case was postponed twice, and finally, after 16 months, it went to court in August 2024. I was represented by Mr. Phillip Lucas, who was absolutely outstanding. Watching him in action was mesmerising. The CPS was completely unprepared for the strong case Mr. Lucas presented, and the judge ruled there was no case against me, resulting in my acquittal. I was free to go.

I am beyond grateful to the entire team for their incredible service and support, and I can highly recommend them.
