When I found myself, Googling "lawyers motoring offences" there was a huge number to choose from and I am so very pleased that I selected Geoffrey Miller. From the initial call with Jeanette Miller through to my main dealing with Tara Boyle - it could not have been a more pleasant and professional experience.
Their continual advice and speed of response meant they did a superb job of managing, what was, a stressful and unfamiliar experience.

The representation I received in my case was nothing short of remarkable. Following an initial consultation I didn't really hear much from GMS leading up to the trial, and I wondered what was going on behind the scenes. I needn't have worried. My representation in court was so well prepared and researched, and the delivery so expertly timed and delivered that, at one point, I felt like standing up in the dock to applaud. To be honest, when I contacted GMS I was clutching at straws and never imagined I would be aquitted. On the day I actually started to feel sorry for the prosecution. They didn't stand a chance in the face of a brilliant display of insight, knowledge, experience and tactical know-how. It was all really very impressive.

Not the cheapest but definitely the best. Having been charged for drink driving (even though I wasn't), these guys got me a full aqquital. From the initial chat with Jeanette, going over my initial details and confirming what I thought and that it wasnt a fair case. Through to Austin advising me throughout the whole process, assuring me when I had doubts and hit rock bottom (the whole thing hanging over me at the time seriosly affected my mental helath). To Phillip Lucas representing me at court, going through everything with a fine tooth comb, pointing out every mistake and not worrying about arguing anything with the prosecution, not to mention being a completly normal and upfront and decent/likeable person face to face (which i dont think you can ask more for). My case took over a year (mainly due to waiting for court dates) but as mentioned, several occasion I just wanted to throw the towel in to just end it (even if it meant being giving a conviction i didnt deserve), but these guys reassured me the whole way. They never gave me any guarantees of the outcome, but always pointed out the fors and against, always straight up with me, wether it was something I wanted to hear or not, so always knew where i was or what I was getting. Couldn't rate or recommend enough!!! Probably the best choice I have ever made!!! Cannot thank these guys enough!!!!!!!

Geoffrey Miller excel in their field, In particular Louis who controlled my case and was outstanding from start to finish. Measured, clear, informative and had a robust plan that instantly set me at ease immediately. I was arrested for Vehicle interference and failure to provide a specimen. Louis had put such a strong case together that the CPS decided to discontinue the case months before trial.

So arrested for DD 2nd time in 5 years. Am 63 pretty much knew would not drive again!! After the arrest whilst in the cell, I felt the stopping, forceful arrest, lack of medical care and lawyer were issues!! from the moment that Austin picked my call up all those months ago I felt like i was in very capable hands. He was never too busy to return a call or answer any question that I had no matter how small. i was guided through the entire process professionally and smoothly and i cant thank him and the team enough for all of their efforts. I was charged with failing to provide a specimen and was facing a court appearance, however after perusing the statements and evidence provided by the crown, Austin and the team at Geoffrey Miller managed to get an acquittal and the charges were dropped before the trial had begun ! I put off writing my review for Geoffrey Miller Solicitors because I was concerned that I would not be able to adequately express my gratitude and praise without sounding insincere.

I have gone over in my head many times the afternoon when I opened the Notice of Intended Prosecution for drug driving addressed to my son, and my hurtling down rabbit holes in sheer panic, not knowing who/how/where to find any guidance. I shall be forever grateful to which ever stars aligned and brought me to Geoffrey Miller Solicitors website and the telephone number offering free advice, which in turn led to the most clear, comprehensive, reassuring and patient telephone conversation with Jeanette Miller.

I had the terrible experience of being arrested for driving whilst having a reading of alcohol over the limit. This was more devastating to me than I can ever describe to anyone ! After having held a clean driving licence for 30 years, never having had even a point for speeding or an endorsement. My life relies so much on my ability to drive and be mobile. I feel my life would end and wouldn't be worth living if I was restricted in this way for possibly as much as 18 months ! From the date of my arrest, I was given about 15 days to appear in a magistrates court. I started doing intensive research on the internet for solicitors who deal or specialise in these offenses. I went to Citizens Advice & acquired lists of solicitors, local & Nationwide. I telephoned them all & had lengthy phonecalls with many, lots of advice but most were negative about me achieving a successful outcome that I so earnestly desired ! They were all quite negative about being able to get me off this charge but offered hope of achieving a reduced sentence of perhaps a 12 months ban from driving. I felt I could not face even that. I read lots of reviews about all of these companies. I read lots about Geoffrey Miller too, their reviews, their track record of success, their statements and information. I understand Geoffrey set up the business & I think sadly is no longer with us & his daughter Jeanette Miller took it over and is somewhat of a celebrity as a result with TV appearances as "Miss Justice" ! I spent every available minute in those 2 weeks I had to make the very serious decision of whom to instruct. As it was to me, my future hung in the balance, my family, my work, my well being, my mental health, ... Jeanett Miller telephoned me for over an hour for free ! To go over all that I needed to know to make an informed choice. Which I know her time is extremely valuable and her personal rates are even much higher than her company's fees ! Admittedly they charge approximately 4 times as much as all the others I spoke with but I decided to go with them as I felt they were the best chance of my having success. I had quite a lot of savings so I think what have I saved all the money for, if not for a "rainy day" when I might need it & I cannot put a price on freedom ! If you can afford it. Other solicitors scoffed & mocked at their charges, saying what can they give you more than we can for those extortionate fees ?! I learned that Millers have such experience & expertise in finding "loopholes" if you like, for want of a better description, in law & proceedings to find a way out for people, excuse my layman's terms ! I read reviews of others who found solicitors, once appointed, lost interest or care in their clients & were not helpful or responsive. I read that Geoffrey Millers were very good. No-one can please all the people all of the time & they cannot achieve 100% success but they come close at around 96/7% + I think & very very few clients weren't satisfied in the past with them, next to none comparatively. So I decided to instruct them. In time for my court hearing on 15 May last year, 2023. I pleaded not guilty so it was adjourned until late June, which we attended, they sent a very good barrister with me each time. Even though they are based in Manchester, they operate Nationwide. The court then adjourned my case for another 6 months ! Until 22 December '23 ! I was so happy I was given 7-8 more months from the date of the alleged offense, to still have the extended period of freedom to drive ! Even if I'd lose my case at the end. Those 7-8 months were an arduous journey for me emotionally. I was appointed Saskia Abbot who is Absolutely wonderful, positive, efficient & always keeping up with my case & telephoned & emailed me as regularly as necessary, she gave me lots of her time & was always positive & optimistic, they cannot promise results but they do their expert best. They are without doubt the best in their field of business, in my opinion as well. Saskia was always very responsive to my calls & emails as well ! As are all the reception &/ admin team there ! I was anxious & worried throughout those months fearing the worst, whilst getting on with life but she always tried to help me with that. When the court date drew near, I was petrified, putting everything in place for the worst scenario to happen. There was a lot to do because of my travelling lifestyle. The case was thrown out of court before I even arrived ! I could not believe it ! I was flabbergasted ! John Dye who went to represent me in Aldershot all the way from Kent had already had discussions in Court with the Crown Prosecution & they had watched the video footage & read information & said I was free to go ! I cannot explain the elation I felt !!! I was feeling like I was literally walking or floating "on cloud 9" for days afterwards ! Kept pinching myself, (figuratively!) ever since !

I was able to make contact & get advice very quickly, even though it was Sunday. My main contact, Elnaz, was very professional but also caring and easy to talk to. I was continually updated on progress and able to contact her very quickly when needed. The barrister they arranged for court was excellent and did a great job. I haev no hesitation in recommending their services.

I was taken to court for Driving without Due Care and Attention due to a work-related RTC. Initial analysis revealed five to seven penalty points or a ban with a considerable financial penalty. Thanks to the work and research completed by Elnaz, my assigned caseworker and the attendance at court of my barrister, Mr Tilling, I ended up with three penalty points and a minimal fine.
