This company makes it really hard to sell your shares.
They want to post you out security codes just to be able to transact on your shares and have no other option as moving to another broker requires even more paperwork and takes longer. Meanwhile you could be loosing hundreds of dollars per day while you wait. They needed to be reported to ASIC

Inexperienced staff do not know what the are doing tried to get an explaining of the charges and started talking about something else. Shame on BP to go to a cheap company like for their administration MUFG Pension & Market Services LINK Group was much better.

I tried to change banking details online. All shares changed except 1. I tried contacting them by email and phobe and they did not seem to care that 1 out of 6 did not work. They sent me hard copy stating which ones had changed plus the 1 that hadn't. Just told me to try again, there must be a problem with their IT system.

The company is refusing to sell our shares and owes us more than $5000. We now have to involve AFCA because of them gatekeeping our money. This is a corrupt company using ‘policy’ to stonewall and gate keep your funds. We’ve proven who we are, signed all the forms that they’ve asked us even paid the fees and now they’ve rejected it not told us and are not selling our shares. This company needs to be investigated and fined. We need to proceed with government bodies and ombudsman to fight this. Disgusting

If I could give a zero, I would. The customer service is dreadful. After 11 (I just counted them) emails to them, I still have no answer to my question and no direction as to how I can move forward. This started in April. ‘Support’ referred me to email addresses that either don’t exist or are not ‘manned’. They have referred me to ‘forms’ that don’t exist when you look at their website forms list. Avoid this organisation like the plague. If it’s possible, AFCA needs to look at this.

1 star is about 10 stars more than the Australian MUFG outfit deserves. Outdated systems, awful service, archaic security measures and a clunky website that probably runs on software from the 70s. Transfer employee shares away as soon as humanly possible, to ANYWHERE else.

I've been transferred to this site by a supplier. It is terrible and outdated.

When registering it continually auto-populated boxes with incorrect info and the error messages refer to the data that was correct.

Had to re-create a password 4 times to get past verification.

After spending over 1 hour trying to register I gave up and rang them. Closed at 2pm on a weekday.

When I did get through (3 days later) they didn't answer the question I was asking. I managed to solve the problem while the advisor was running through stuff I'd already checked. Total lack of listening.

Time consuming and dreadful experience. Sadly my provider uses them so I've got to use it.

My company has a share plan with them.

Their user guides are very unclear, with numerous mistakes for a document meant for external users.

They never respond to emails. If you’re patient enough to wait on the phone for 20 minutes, your issue might eventually get resolved.

One star too many
Totally dissatisfied with there service while trying to sell my shares. Dragged the whole process out sending me out letters to confirm I want to sell my shares, even though shares had been sold removed from my account still waiting for my cheque, two weeks later. knowing they are still earning interest on my money until I can get the cheque cleared when I get it.
Seriously!!! This company needs to be looked into

Needed a middle name added so as to transfer shares to my Broker. Emailed & mailed forms to them in February. No response after several weeks. Followed them up several times on the progress of this, as I was seeking to sell the shares urgently. The second time I spoke to someone they denied receiving the forms (after the first person had confirmed receipt and it was being progressed). Claimed, finally, to have mailed the amended share cert's to me. Not received. Followed up (again) and they offered to express post some 8 weeks after initial contact. They were to provide me with the express post number. I had to follow this up as well.
Conclusion: Due to delays by MUFG, has cost me $7k in

Useless, regarding my company Shareplan! Completely unsatisfied with their poor service.

This huge and vast group emphasizes the importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) investing on its official website. However, service quality and governance issues at some hotels within the group appear to be inconsistent with MUFG’s overall ESG policy. This situation casts doubt on the effectiveness of the group’s overall governance structure and ESG initiatives.

This group advocates “fair and transparent management✨” but if problems at subsidiaries within the group are not appropriately managed and resolved, there is a possibility that we will lose the trust of investors and consumers. With ESG investment attracting attention, consistent efforts are required across the entire group.

Why am I writing a review? In a hotel service quality and governance issues were part of the issues within this group.

I would have given zero if allowed. Their online banking sucks.

These large Japanese corporations are old-fashioned, extremely authoritarian, and have a weak sense of respect for the law. They behave condescendingly and disrespectfully to business partners and customers alike if they consider them to be of a lower rank. I have had very unpleasant experiences in my dealings with them and have suffered damages due to their insane behavior.
