I have bought a new build home, which has windows by Munster and one of them is broken. The new build company are dealing with it but it’s been over a month and Munster are the problem, they don’t want to fix it and it’s their fault it’s broken due to something not right in the frame as they have replaced once and it broke on replacement
This time the fitter rang the night before to change the time he was coming the next day which I couldn’t do so he was so rude that now he isn’t coming!
It will get fixed but it should have been done before I moved in and the company should not allow the fitters to change appointments made and the fitter should not be rude to the customer
I wouldn’t use this company myself

My back door window got broke as Munster joinery fitted the door originally I called them
From the start they were so helpful they already had the size and type of glass on file so could order it straight away
Staff in the office were really friendly and explained how it all worked and the price was very fair and cheaper than anywhere else
Was given a date it would be repaired and on the day we got a text to confirm a time
I wasn’t home but I think the guys name was Jamie he came fixed the broken window took away the waste and even replaced the door seal that was torn by my cat which had been doing my head in
Jamie was very polite and friendly credit to the company
The whole experience was really easy and I had great service from Munster joinery all the way through
Massive thankyou to everyone at Munster joinery would use them again in a heartbeat

Had a bathroom window handle fall off, contacted the Service dept and after sending photos of the handle a pair of replacement handles was sent out. The windows were over two years old but they deemed this was something that should not have happened and the new handles are fitted and perfect ! Great service !

I bought a new build Cala Homes house in 2016 in August this year 2026 a complete double glazed Window fell from a first floor bedroom and landed by the front door. If anyone had been standing there they could have been killed. Munster charged £110.00 call out charge and proposed to patch up the fallen window and replace the insubstantial catches. The house has three pairs of similar windows.

Greg attended site and was excellent. Very good quality.

My window mechanism broke, so I contacted Munster Joinery straight away. Aaron, the Customer Care Manager, responded immediately and provided me with the spare parts the very next day.

Excellent service and support from start to finish. Aaron was incredibly helpful and kind, and made the whole process quick and easy.

A very trustworthy company with great customer care. Highly recommended!

Fantastic service from Munster Joinery! They were amazing from start to finish- Shelly in the office was great and extremely helpful- Then Alfie who called to deal with the issue and replace the glass door panel in our patio doors was outstanding- excellent on the job skills and went above and beyond to make sure the finish was perfect!

Alfie was just brilliant he went above and beyond to fix minor issues. I also really appreciated that minster gave us a date to come then the day before Alfie himself got in touch to confirm a two hour time slot
He arrived bang on the middle of that slot and was efficient without rushing. Was so impressed!

Carl, was very kind and patient with myself. Unfortunately, we have had a very negative experience with our new build site team. Contractors have been turning up unannounced which has left me in distress so when Carl turned up, I was understandably upset but Carl showed empathy and understanding and gave me options that no other contractor has. He also went through everything he was doing and made sure I was happy before he left. Thank you Carl!

UPDATE 2026-08-17: the day after my complaint below i was given an appointment. The onsite work was great with the engineer arriving on time and completing the repair to a high standard. My original review comments about the customer service from their office still apply and i hope some improvement will come as a result of my feedback.

2026-07-31 I contacted Munster Joinery regarding maintenance for one of their doors and made it clear before payment that I needed an engineer to attend by 20 August because I would be away for an extended period. I simply asked whether availability could be checked before I committed to paying the call-out fee.

I was repeatedly told that no dates could be discussed until payment had been made. The quotation was only valid for three days, so I paid immediately and sent proof of payment as requested, expecting that scheduling could then begin.

Instead, I was informed that the accounts department first needed to confirm receipt of the payment before a date could be provided, but the accounts team was on annual leave. I suggested that, since I had already provided proof of payment, they could at least tentatively reserve an appointment while waiting for confirmation, but I received no response.

My issue is not with paying upfront; many companies require this. What has affected my confidence in the company is being asked to rush payment under a three-day quotation deadline, only to be told afterwards that nothing could progress because the accounts department was on annual leave. Had I known that in advance, I would have questioned the urgency of making payment.

The engineer may yet provide an excellent service when they eventually attend, but based on my experience so far, the communication, transparency and customer service have been disappointing.

We would like to say thank you to Ionut Pinzaru, he sent a message informing us of when he would arrive and came on time. He asked exactly what needed
doing, showed me what the problem was and quickly fixed them, two windows and a patio door. He was extremely professional and courteous throughout, he
took his time until he was satisfied with the job he had done and ensured I was happy. He takes great pride in his work and fully explained what needed doing and why.

We would highly recommend Ionut and his work. He is a credit to Munster Joinery. Please pass on our thanks.

Our window glass cracked due to thermal expansion during the recent heatwave. We contacted the company, and they responded promptly by sending Carl to our home. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to inspect the issue thoroughly. He clearly explained the science behind what had happened, replaced the damaged window efficiently, and also gave us helpful tips on how to reduce the chances of it happening again. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Highly recommended!
