Missed Birthday due to Delivery Failure
Unfortunately, this was my first and last order with My 1st Years.
I ordered a personalised toddler backpack and cap for my niece’s first birthday and selected the Standard Delivery (5 working days) option advertised at checkout. The parcel never arrived.
I was later told that the 5 working days is not guaranteed and that delivery can take longer under their terms and conditions. If that’s the case, I think this should be made much clearer at the point of purchase rather than customers only discovering it after their order is delayed.
The parcel was marked by Evri as “Out for delivery” but then disappeared into the system with no further updates. My 1st Years said they had raised an investigation with Evri, but I was told Evri had up to 24 hours to respond and that they couldn’t contact the courier directly. In my case, Evri never contacted me at all.
I found the email customer service team more helpful than the telephone team, but ultimately they were unable to resolve the issue. I spent far too much time chasing an order that should simply have been delivered.
The delay meant my niece’s first birthday was missed, and the personalised sun hat she’d been due to take on holiday was no longer of any use. Thankfully she’s too young to understand, but had she been older it would have been heartbreaking to turn up without her birthday present.
To their credit, once it became clear the parcel wasn’t arriving, they did offer either a replacement or a refund, and I chose a refund. However, by that point the purpose of the order had already been lost. I also have to wait days for the refund.
Based on my experience, My 1st Years seriously needs to review its delivery arrangements and its reliance on Evri. Reading other reviews, it appears I am far from alone in having this experience.
Sadly, I won’t be ordering from them again.

Poor customer service
I placed an order 2 weeks ago, it has not been delivered. The process for investigating where it has gone has taken a ridiculous amount of time.
There customer service then confirmed they had replaced the order and sent a new one out, only to then say that half of the items are out of stock.
Poor customer service with no willingness to resolve the issues.

Krisha at My First Years was super…
Krisha at My First Years was super helpful in changing the personalisation I needed for my grandson’s blanket. I suddenly decided I wanted the nickname not the formal name :) Blanket is a lovely gift and cellular so safer for baby’s heat monitoring, the material is a little stiff but should soften with a wash.

I ordered two bespoke gifts which were never delivered. 3 weeks later they still haven’t arrived, and the company refuse to offer a refund or replacements. Their customer service is truly awful, and seems AI generated as no common sense or attention to detail is provided.
