She is awful! This company is awful. They make very few actual plans, and when they actually have plans they change them without notifying guests. They over charge (we paid 3x the actual room rate), left guests stranded without assistance, they refused to give a refund for 1 meal over 3 months out, she's an awful "tour guide" and refuses to answer basic questions. Just awful.

We chose Marianne and her team as our wedding planner for our August 2024 wedding, but the experience was nothing short of a disaster. Numerous agreements were broken, especially regarding the quality of the food and the overall organization of the event. There was insufficient food throughout the weekend, vegetarians were served leftovers, and, shockingly, the breakfast included food with mold.

Communication with Marianne started off well, but after the first payment, everything fell apart. She became slow to respond, made excuses, and failed to fulfill several of her promises. On the wedding day itself, the lack of organization was appalling. Guests were left confused due to poor coordination, turning what should have been a joyous celebration into a chaotic and stressful mess.

The venue, despite looking nice at first glance, was filthy. The rooms were dirty, unbearably hot, and we had to purchase fans for all the rooms just to make it livable. We were promised reimbursement for these expenses, but we’ve never received a single penny.

To make matters worse, the venue was infested with wasps, making it nearly impossible to enjoy food or sugary drinks without being stung. Several guests were attacked, and the constant presence of wasps created an unsafe and unpleasant atmosphere.

The result was that neither we as the couple nor our guests had an enjoyable weekend. What should have been the happiest and most memorable time of our lives became an event filled with stress, disappointment, and frustration.

Adding insult to injury, Marianne has refused to address or make amends for the issues we experienced. She does not respond to emails, leaving us feeling ignored and unsupported even after raising our concerns.

Based on this horrifying experience, we cannot stress enough how strongly we recommend avoiding Marianne as your wedding planner. Her unprofessionalism, broken promises, lack of preparation, and refusal to take responsibility ruined what should have been the happiest day of our lives. Save yourself the heartache—choose someone else.

I attended a weeding as a guest in September 2024.
The location is absolutely amazing with breathtaking views and nice facilities. I would, however, look elsewhere if I were searching for a wedding planner.

I know from the bride and groom that they were promised things/paid for stuff that were missing on the wedding weekend. E.g. more than once, the staff didn't serve the food agreed on but something entirely different or simply not at all.

Also, they paid for a wooden floor because they wanted the party after the reception to take place outside in the garden. This ended up not being possible, and the party was moved inside, but they still paid for the floors.

But the worst part was that whenever the bridal couple or immediate family tried to bring up these changes (also just to know how it would impact the rest of the wedding day), Marianne behaved very unprofessionally. She would act frustrated with the questions and not take responsibility, sometimes also getting angry at whoever tried to talk to her.

Half an hour into the wedding party, I found a very upset bride and groom. Apparently, Marianne scolded the bride right before leaving. At this point, I also learned that earlier Marianne had told the bride she had to get used to the idea of not getting everything she wanted. It is absolutely unacceptable behaviour to blame the bridal couple for having too high expectations, when all they wanted was the things promised, or at the very least, an explanation from a calm and professional wedding planner.

If you want a wedding planner who is good at matching expectations, patient and trustworthy, look elsewhere.

I was recently a guest at a My Taste of Tuscany Wedding . I do not usually write reviews but this experience compelled me to write one.

First of all the Villa and the surroundings were breathtaking and it was all in all a beautiful day that I will always remember. HOWEVER I cannot overlook the lack of professionalism from the wedding planner, and frankly I am still outraged on behalf of my friends who spent quite a lot of money to pay for their dream wedding.

First of all, the printed menus often did not match with what was actually served, and more than once, things that were printed on the menus never arrived. The bride told me afterwards that some of the dishes served, were different from the ones they had tasted and chosen. They did simply not get what they thought they had paid for, and that is very disappointing.

Second of all, the entire party was held outside, and during the evening a fox appeared, looking around for food dropped in the grass. We tried to chase it away, but it returned over and over. Later in the evening we found out that members of the staff had been feeding it, so no wonder it kept coming back..

But the third (and by far the most serious) point of criticism I have for My Taste of Tuscany is, that the wedding planner responded very rude when it was pointed out to her that things, that were paid for, were missing. She ended up in heated discussions with multiple people including the toast master and the bride.

She made my friend cry on her wedding day, and for that fact alone I would suggest to everyone considering a My Taste of Tuscany Wedding to look elsewhere.
