J'ai souscrit mon hypothèque chez Nesto en demandant explicitement une assurance emprunteur. On m'avait dit que leur partenaire me recontacterait pour finaliser cette démarche. Il ne l'a jamais fait. J'ai envoyé de nombreux courriels de relance, sans jamais obtenir de réponse ni de rappel. Un client qui fait la demande d'un produit précis et que personne ne prend la peine de suivre, ce n'est pas un oubli, c'est de la négligence.
Le dossier s'est clôturé sur la même note. Des frais de clôture de 225 $ ont été prélevés sur mon compte sans que je reçoive le moindre courriel m'informant de la date du prélèvement. Aucune communication, encore une fois.
J'ai fini par refinancer mon hypothèque ailleurs, à de meilleures conditions, et avec un service qui répond réellement aux courriels. Cette expérience chez Nesto restera pour moi un exemple de ce qu'il ne faut pas faire en matière de relation client. Je ne recommande absolument pas.

Working with Nesto to secure our first mortgage as first-time home buyers has been a great experience for my wife and me. Jeff was excellent at communicating and getting our application through the approval process. They worked with extreme efficiency to meet our timeline. I highly recommend Jeff and the team at Nesto!

Started a mortgage application online, but changed my mind. Not happy putting so much personal info online for a company I'd never heard of. So I stopped the application. Now, 3 months later, Nesto are still phoning me every single day. They finally left a voicemail which I didn't bother returning. You'd think that would give the message that I'm not interested, but no, still they keep phoning me. Now it's harassment. Don't ever give this horrible company your details.

I have dealt with Nesto a few times in the last 5 or so years. They now hold our mortgage and we just arranged a HELOC which will allow us to tackle a few new projects. Everyone has been amazing, especially Louis, Navraj, Selvina, and Eliane. Highly recommend.

The sales team at Nesto was professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the initial stages of the mortgage process. Unfortunately, my experience with their compliance and underwriting team was extremely frustrating.

I am a small business owner, and I was repeatedly told that my file was more complex because I am self-employed. While I understand that self-employed borrowers require additional documentation, the process felt disorganized and inefficient. Over the course of nearly 70 emails, I was repeatedly asked for documents and explanations that had already been provided. It often seemed as though submitted files were not being reviewed carefully before further requests were sent.

Nesto promotes a best-in-class online portal, but after the initial intake process, most communication occurred through lengthy email chains. Documents were submitted multiple times, explanations had to be repeated, and requests frequently resurfaced as though previous communications had not been reviewed.

Mortgage underwriting is naturally detailed, and I expected to provide extensive documentation. My frustration was not with the requirements themselves, but with the apparent lack of coordination and the difficulty the team seemed to have processing a self-employed applicant's file efficiently. The experience created significant and unnecessary stress during a time-sensitive home purchase.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Nesto, particularly to other self-employed business owners seeking a smooth and organized mortgage process.

Working with Nav and Jeff was honestly such a reassuring experience during what could have been a very stressful process. When I was struggling to find hope with securing funding, they stepped in with confidence, professionalism, and genuine care.

Slow response times, if I get one at all, had to ask several times to get a renewal completed for the date. I don't know what's going on there, the staff always apologize but they sure seem stressed out.
Edit after nesto response. One of your employees said to move my mortgage, they didn't want to tell me about why. My mortgage is moved.

We received an amazing service from Olivier Filion at Nesto. This was our 2nd mortgage with him. When saw our dream house online, we knew it would sell fast so we had to act quick. An hour later we were on the phone with Olivier, had our prequalification and were able to make our offer the same day. Despite my initial nerves about using a digital broker, the service was excellent both times. Highly recommended for great rates and support.

Have been trying to get in touch with this company for over 2 weeks after I was told they would contact me within 48 hours. My mortgage was renewed last year and upon receiving my annual statement I see another persons name on it joint with myself and not my late husbands estate. We will be going to governing authorities here in Ontario to gain further guidance and seeing legal counsel advice. If you haven’t signed in the dotted line I would take your business to a bank where you can physically sit with someone when something like this goes bad.

I had the pleasure of having Jeff as my mortgage specialist. I have bought a house before this and what I can say about this experience is it didn’t just feel like another transaction. Jeff was there for me through every step and checked in on everything. Way more smoother than a bank and actually felt appreciated and not transactional. Another mortgage specialist named Eliana was there to help with all my documents as my case manager as a little special. I appreciate all the time they took in helping with my mortgage and highly suggest them to anyone in the future

While everything may seem promising at the beginning, NESTO often appear willing to offer you everything regardless of how strong your credit is or how much equity and assets you have. However, their focus is not on financially stable clients; instead, they tend to target individuals who are on the edge but able to pay last dollar they have, as these clients are more likely to accept higher interest rates.

The moment they realize you are exploring other options, especially if you have good credit, they may close your file, often providing unreasonable or unclear excuses. This typically happens because they do not see the opportunity for maximum profit.

It is important not to rely on a single lender. Consider working with multiple mortgage brokers or Banks to compare options. Keep in mind, NESTO are not miracle workers, but rather businesses focused on generating profit.

Worst service ever . Staff are all novice in the bussiness with little or no experience. They are a waste of time

I had an excellent experience working with Eve Berardelli at Nesto. My situation was somewhat complex, and from the very beginning Eve took the time to truly listen and understand the full context of my circumstances. Rather than rushing the process, she provided thoughtful advice on how to move forward in the safest and most strategic way. I followed her recommendations and returned a couple of months later when I was ready to proceed.

What impressed me most was that she immediately remembered my file and picked up exactly where we had left off. The process then moved very quickly. Eve was clear, responsive, and organized. She provided access to Nesto’s portal, kept me informed at every step, and made the entire process feel structured and manageable.

At a late stage in the process, I realized I should have requested a slightly higher loan amount. Eve reviewed the file again and reached out to the appropriate people to adjust the request. Her ability to navigate the internal process efficiently made a real difference.

Communication was also excellent. Eve consistently returned calls quickly, and her assistant Eliana was equally kind, professional, and helpful.

Prior to this, I had a very negative experience with another broker that left me feeling cautious and skeptical about the mortgage process. Working with Eve completely changed that perspective. Her professionalism and integrity made it clear what a properly handled mortgage experience should look like.

I would highly recommend Eve Berardelli and Nesto to anyone seeking mortgage financing. I fully intend to continue working with them going forward and would not hesitate to return for any future property purchase. Nesto offers very competitive rates and products, and in my view they compete easily with any broker or lender.

Unfortunately a very very poor experience. I submitted every document they required and because my renewal was up in the same month they wouldn't even entertain the idea of submitting an application. The agent on the phone cut me off several times and when I asked if we could just try and see if a response would coming back in time. She flat out told me no and that she wouldn't. It's not worth her time. Very disappointed

Starts right when you go to their site and it runs you through a questionnaire after which you’ll see your rate. You finish all your steps then they want your phone number and all contact info to show you the rate. Just collecting information. Seems like a scam.
