I took the 3 day class back in January. I am really happy I decided to take the class because it was very helpful. Dr Somas is great in what he does and he was very helpful and answered all my questions I had. It was also nice that we could practice in the rooms which were set up with all the equipments for the exam. I passed CS on my first try and that too with 3 stars. I highly recommend this course.

Pay attention and it will pay off!

Dr. Somas teaches quickly and efficiently, and this is exactly how we should operate during Step 2 CS. When you attend his workshop, take detailed notes, he does not waste words. He knows exactly what is needed to pass and is up to date on every detail of the recent changes in CS grading. If you listen and do things the way he instructs you (history, physical exam, notes), you will be successful. I found NYCS after failing Step 2 CS. I signed up for the largest package (18 cases spread over two weekends) and utilized the SPs (which were very test-like) during the week. I took CS the second time immediately after the workshop and passed. All areas went up (ICE, CIS and SEP). I'm sure this sounds like an infomercial, but it's the real deal. I have a residency position thanks to Dr. Somas and his SPs.

In reality the review was good, but the downside is that they do not review your patient notes, even though they advertised this service. I have been speaking with “Ravi” for this service, but he did not do anything about it (for the fifth time). In addition, I also spoke with this same person for a discount as my medical school had a direct collaboration with NYCSprep and he told me that the discount was a possibility and that he was going to ask Dr. Soma for it; something that never happened. I was able to see all the effort that Dr. Soma has given to this business, but unfortunately his employees do not share his same vision, something what will affect medical students pockets for sure.

I love the program and the entire training course . Dr Soma and his team are simply awesome!

Very helpful for USMLE tips and attacking the questions

To be honest I just did a 10 day prep for my Step 2 CS plus 3 hr one-on-one with an SP at NYCS. Jorge is one of their best SPs. After each case, he gave me personal feedback which is one of the most important things that helped me as an FMG. Overall I felt great about the exam. Let's see if I pass!

I received my CS results on 19th April and passed the test. Thank you for all the encouragement and support you gave me. I participated in the 3-day workshop, practiced at the centre for 2 weeks and I found it extremely helpful. Everyone at the center is helpful and kind. They do their best to see the students succeed in CS.

I took the nycsprep course back in early march for a weekend to help me prep for step 2 cs. I recently got my result back and I passed. great course! felt confident with every patient encounter.

I took my CS in Philadelphia and did very well! I am very glad I spent about a week at the NYCSPREP center and I got to practice every day with different people. By far the most valuable part of the course is the feedback from the SPs who helped me get a * on CIS. My only suggestion is that I wish there was someone to review the patient notes throughout the day as many students couldn't wait until the end of the day and this is a critical part of the exam for many of us.

I learned a great deal. I don't understand why medschool didn't teach us the way its taught here. For those who are coming into this completely raw, I recommend the Premium pro because you will need your multiple mock cases.

I studied in Russia and when I came to US, it was very difficult for me to address the US clinical skills exam.
A training was must for me to get familiar with the clinical skills in US.
One of my friends suggested nycs prep .
I took 3 days class and did 3 weeks of practice there. And I took the exam when Dr.Somas told me that I was ready for it.

I completed the exam in Chicago in April 2019 and in the first attempt I was able to pass it. Thanks to Dr. Somas and his team for the guidance they provided and I highly recommend this course for anybody who wants to attend the Step 2CS exam.

Taking the NYCSPREP course was the best thing I could have done before the CS examination. Dr. Somas' 3 day course was fully comprehensive and prepared you very well for the nuances of the exam. Taking the Step 2CS is an undertaking for most IMGs and with this course we are given the tools to excel. You spend time with taking histories, structuring your interview, doing physical examinations, writing the note as well as timing. At the end of the weekend, the mock exam is a perfect way to test out your skills and make sure that you're ready to take the exam! Taking Dr. Somas' course was the best thing I did before taking the exam. Highly recommend the course to any IMGs and non-IMGs!

Hello sir Roopali Dahiya this side. Appeared for step 2 cs exam at Philadelphia center on 6 th May 2019. Took Nycs prep course a week before exam.Today got the results and I have passed in the very first attempt. I did the course after going through FA twice page by page but learned many new things in Nycs prep classes which were not mentioned anywhere and made life easy .Your classes were absolutely fantastic , it helped me to find my weak areas and work on them. All the SPs at your center were fabulous. Thank you so much for making this possible and giving me this valuable learning experience.

I took NYCS prep course 1 month before my exam date and believe me Dr Somas will teach you everything which you need to pass exam.
