A month ago I ordered a wendy house, which was due to be delivered within 10 working days - the item was for an event so needed promptly. No one got in touch to arrange delivery, so I called customer services - it took over 45 minutes to get through and I was told the item was delayed but they would send it as soon as possible and refund the delivery costs if it didn't arrive within the 10 working days. After 10 working days I'd heard nothing so called again - this time an hour wait to get through. I explained the item would not be needed after tuesday. They could not give me a time frame for delivery. The following friday I received a call from a delivery driver saying they were outside my house. They did not call in advance to arrange this, as promised. I refused the delivery as I was not in and it was too late for the item. It's taken me 2 weeks and 3 more phone calls to get a refund AND they have deducted £30 for refusing the delivery and not refunded the £9.99 delivery costs - if they had called in advance as promised the delivery would not have been refused. Avoid this company, they are awful.

AVOID THESE JOKERS AT ALL COSTS. The worst customer service I have ever received! Would give zero stars if I could.

Ordered 2 pieces of wooden play equipment (swing set and lookout tower) as a summer holiday treat for our girls. Took 2 and a half weeks to arrive rather than the stated 3-7 working days and then only part of it turned up.

Customer service awful, was lied to and promsed delivery on several occasions that then did not materialise (turned out their machinery had broken down and so wood for it had not even been cut but no one told us that at the time!!)

No tracking info sent. Staff could not care less when trying to find out what the hold up was.

Do yourself a favour and just go elsewhere, don't waste your time.

If I could give zero stars I would! BUYER BEWARE!!! Please do yourself a favor and buy from a legit well known company. Our products arrives damaged and unable to use. I have emailed and called everyday since they arrived. This company will not reply. Now I am out a lot of money. Worst company and customer service ever!!!

Ordered a 10ft trampoline and then notice the reviews so was a little worried but honestly can’t fault the company they advised when of when the expected delivery date was going to be and kept me updated with the order when it was picked and shipped , answered any emails I sent regarding tracking and sent me all details how to track . Delivered on the day they advised so very happy children , after searching for trampolines in stock that wasn’t at a ridiculous price , thanks Play Active x

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Faulty ride on tractor from the very start. Have been trying to get a replacement or a return for over 3 months and they ignore your emails. No follow up support and our 3 year old son still gets upset daily as he can't ride his tractor.
They did respond to the first couple of emails and basically told us that it was probably down to our error and the fault was not with the tractor.

AVOID WASTING YOUR MONEY

Dodgy people involved in dodgy business. BEWARE. You have companies with poor customer service but these are scammers. They will send you a used and damaged product and make you wait months to recover your money. THEY TELL YOU LIE AFTER LIE. THEY EVEN GO TO THE EXTENT OF SAYING WE HAVE BEEN TO YOUR ADDRESS BUT THERE WAS NO ONE. I never dealt with a company so full of scam. They claim the company being run by family with children, but look what they do to people who try to please their own kids. SAD PEOPLE.

Can not believe how shocking this company is I bought my 3 year old a quad for Christmas and it will not start!! It also came with a flat tyre, I phoned the office and they came and picked the quad up for repair and brought it back with still a flat tyre and the quad still wouldn’t start! I’ve asked to speak to a manager for 4 months now which they have told me he has been in a America for 4 months!! I have been fobbed off the whole time and I am taking this further as I want a refund!! Even the delivery driver said to me “don’t buy anything from these again I’ve had to pick up so many things to take back!” Honestly had the worst experience

Not everything goes to plan , that is life but so long as you have Activity Toys Direct in your corner you need not worry if you have a problem, fast and efficient at putting things right. Its true it makes you want to go buy something else from them inspiring

after a bad experience re the car the company got in contact with me and turned my complaint into excellent customer service

I bought the 6x7 Bunny Tower Xtra for my 5 year old daughters birthday and dont get me wrong its a nice little house and delivery was great HOWEVER PLEASE BEWARE that the actual main structure is only 4x5 - ITS TINY and is too small for my daughter even before she has had a chance to play on it - I wanted an upgrade from her little tikes cottage but this is no upgrade the actual house is the same size! I spoke to Outdoor Toys and they were unable to offer any solutions - So I am left with a brand new playhouse that cannot be used as its too small - what a waste of money.

We are very happy with our playhouse.

No problems with phone service. I knew the product I wanted. Price was matched and order completed efficiently. Not much else to say.

All I can say about this company is they lie and there customer service and sales department are shocking!

After doing lots if research and reviews this company seemed far by the best. I spoke to the sales department who confirmed the products I required where in stock and even gave me a delivery date. This was great as I could co ordinate my local workman to lay the patio and erect the playhouse all in time for my sons birthday and party!

So all ordered with a 2 day window just in case!

So on the day it was due to be delivered I contacted product support who told me that the floor was waiting to be made by logistics. They could not give me any further information apart from they would look into in and contact me within 24/48 hours! Then much to my surprise I get an email asking me to request a delivery date! Another phone call and more backwards and forwards and still not getting anywhere.

The next day it continued until finally I spoke to someone who said I would get my playhouse the following day (the day it needed erecting) and 24 hours prior to my sons birthday. I was relieved but that was short lived. I contacted them later that day to ask for track and trace from courier and asked if they had requested urgent morning delivery as promised.

What a surprise when the standard answer was it will be delivered between 8-6pm. I asked again due to the distress the company had caused if they could not get this on special delivery.

So after several more phone calls and promises I would be called back the day arrives for the playhouse to arrive.

My workmen have laid the patio and waiting for playhouse. Gets to midday no playhouse. Again more phone calls and eventually I actually speak to the freight company who confirm that the playhouse company have only put on standard delivery and the email they sent stating I was delivery no4 is a big fat lie!!!!

So I have a patio, no playhouse and a little boys party tomorrow!!!!

To say I am disappointed in an under statement. I feel that they just want a sale and say what you want to hear and then don't deliver.

Too late for me know but just to warn all those other customers who might want something for a special present!

Toys Direct delivered the garden box really quickly. Assembly needed some thought but I managed to assemble it with my girlfriend within an hour. We were concerned that, due to the 'click in place' nature of the item we could have made an irreversible mistake. Having said all this we are really pleased with the end result.

The tree house is lovely for the price. I wasn't aware that the delivery was kerbside only. Bit of a pain when it was so heavy to move

Brought your Wendy house on stilts with some reservations but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. Put together in an afternoon, even with my husbands help, it all went together well the grandchildren love it they have breakfast dinner and tea in it and play there all the time. Wonderful item for our garden.

Great service from start to finish!!!!!

Order this playhouse for my daughter 2nd birthday. Could of got cheaper one else where but thought id spend more hoping it would be good quality. So it turns ups with 2 pots of paint. This paint is completely useless and took 4 coats to even get it's slightly pink. When it came to put together on the eve of my daughters birthday it turned into a disaster. None of the window crosses or the outside panels were the right measurements so had to cut them all. Some of the panels were bowed and 1 even had a crack. Then when we put the felt roof on (which you have to cut to size yourself) the nails they give you to secure In place are far to small and just bounce out the felt. We have to go and buy longer nails to put in place. So my daughter had a unfinished play house for her birthday. Don't buy this!!!

I bought a wooden swing set with rope ladder attached, it's fab...the girls love it and so do all their friends.
It arrived really quickly,2 days, and it assembled easy-peasy...they said 2 hours...no way less than an hour. It is really sturdy, It is really worth the money. I would recommend.
