Ordered 20l of two pack paint
Ordered 20l of two pack paint.
Delivered a single 2.7l pack of hardener. No information on where the rest of the order was.
Contacted paint4trade and the missing 16l was delivered the next day.
But…. 16l + 2.7l doesn’t equal 20l
And the mix ratio should be 4-1 so not enough hardener.
Contacted paint4trade about the above and all they said was ‘the paint supplier has changed their packaging……..’ no offer to put it right or any kind of follow up.

I bought light blue paint
I bought light blue paint. It certainly didn’t look light blue to me when I opened the tin, so I thought perhaps it drys light. Oh no, it doesn’t dry light. Why call it light blue absolute joke

RAL colours originated in Germany, with the RAL colour system established in 1927 to provide standardised colour references for industry and public use.
RAL 5012 is officially designated “Light Blue” by RAL itself. This is not a colour name invented or selected by our company, and we have no involvement whatsoever in deciding or changing official RAL colour names. We simply manufacture and match the paint to the RAL standard selected by you the customer.
The name “Light Blue” is the official identifier for this particular RAL 5012 shade. It is not a subjective guarantee of how light or dark an individual customer may personally consider the colour to be.
Our website also clearly states within its colour disclaimer:
“Colours are for reference only and are an approximation of the true colours.”
The quality, type and settings of the device used to display the colours can also affect how they appear. Customers for whom the precise shade is critical should always consult an official physical RAL colour card before ordering bespoke mixed paint.
The criticism is therefore directed at RAL’s official colour designation, not at a misleading colour name created by our company.

Great paint

Anti slip decking paint all good
After speaking to customer services I ordered undercoat, thinners and top coat (anti-slip) to paint (after jet washing and leaving to thoroughly dry in the recent heatwave) my elderly neighbours decking with a friend. The decking had become dangerously slippery over winter as it is north facing. Coverage as recommended worked out well with some top coat remaining. Everybody happy with result.

Ease of ordering the paint
Ease of ordering the paint, delivery was fairly quick.
Just finished using the paint, the paint flowed on
nicely, as for the product doing its job only time will
tell. At this time i am very pleased with what i purchased.

Ordered the military paint
Ordered the military paint, code RAL 7036, wasn’t the grey colour expected, far too much red/pink/purple tones, after applying first coat I had to locate an automotive paint specialist where they were able to add green and black to make it grey colour I wanted
The paint was easy to work with and covers well just the colour let it down

The colour supplied was RAL 7036, as selected when the order was placed. We do not choose colours on behalf of customers, and colour selection remains the customer’s responsibility. Please also note that colours can appear differently depending on lighting, surrounding surfaces, screen settings and the material being painted.
