Efficient claims handling with considerate attitude.

I shall be staying with Pet Protect this year due to all round positive experiences.

I recently moved my cat insurance over to Pet Protect because they were very competitive on price while still offering great cover. The process was straightforward and easy to complete, and I was pleased with the range of cover included in the policy. So far, I’ve been very happy with the service and feel confident that my cats are well protected.

We had our dog insured with Petprotect for many years, when we started to claim for arthritis injections and complimentary therapy claims were dealt with direct from our vet and any I made direct were always easy to do and handled quickly, always keeping us informed. We have recently lost our dog and again the service and ease of dealing with pet protect has been amazing, I would highly recommended.

Pet Protect have been excellent, we have claimed several times for medication for our Lurchers allergy, they liaise directly with our vet which makes life easier.

Staff answered the telephone with professional and curious manner. However to have to pay the vet a 14.5% of the total bill is excessive. What is the point of having an insurance when you punish us with every minute charge ie food !!!.

Very quick at providing a pre-authorisation which meant my cat was able to get the treatment she needed as soon as possible. Easy to organise along with the vet clinic and I'm happy with the cover they provided in line with our policy!

Pet insurance is really really important and I can say Pet Protect is one insurance provider I would recommend to people

Genuine and sympathetic helpdesk agent - Georgia. We were cut off right at the end of the call and they followed up with an email immediately to apologise, which wasn't necessary, but I really appreciated it, given the upsetting circumstances of my pets condition. We did a direct claim via the vets, paperwork was easy to complete and the agent helped me through it. It was approved without delay and was a weight lifted off my shoulders not having to deal with that during a worrying time.
