Really easy to order, the information on their site was easy to understand, ordered Tue and arrived Thu same week. Received an email with all tracking information.

My fuel cap was sent with tracking, which is always helpful and it arrived undamaged and new as bought. The fuel cap I ordered was the exact fit for my car, so really pleased that this website was genuine, selling parts that fit your make of car. I recently bought a second hand fiat 500 hybrid to discover the petrol cap was loose and wouldn't lock. Instead of taking it to fiat which would cost a fortune, I found this company on google. My petrol cap arrived within 2 days of ordering. Initially I thought it didnt fit, I used the key to turn and it fit perfectly. Great quality cap , even the keys were too for the price.
Communication from the company was top note always keeping me informed of the delivery.

The Fuel Cap Company experience was excellent. Mark (the owner) was extremely helpful and identified the fuel cap needed for my 1997 campervan right away. He couldn't have been more helpful and I wish him well in his business. This is a great firm and vital for anyone who needs fuel caps. Very best wishes Paul27

First class service all round. Spoke with Mark sent a photo of fuel tank neck. Mark told me which cap I needed. Ordered came two days later. What more can you ask for. Fits a treat. Good old customer focus & advice.

My experience relates to the company not the product. Posted with a politically motivated sticker attached - totally unrelated, unsolicited and inappropriate. Returned the £20 cap at my expense and they charged a £6.96 admin fee. Unprofessional and morally dubious.

I was looking for a fuel cap for my capless Ford Ecosport and found this company.

After having gone through their website which helped me to choose the right cap.

When the cap arrived, I proceeded to try and fit the cap, and to my surprise it didn't fit, nowhere near.

With this, I decided to email the company for some advice, that and to make sue that I wasn't doing something wrong.

The first email from them pinged back really quick, asking for a picture of the fuel filler entrance on my car, a photo which I duly sent.

This time the reply wasn't as quick, in fact I had to email them back again to ask if they had recieved my email. A reply came back advising me to remove a small bit of plastic at the bottom of the entrance to fuel entry point.

I looked at this, and this wasn't feasible, plus this wouldn't have made a difference to the cap that I brough from them not fitting.

With this, I emailed them back to let them know this, and this is where they have completely ignored my subsequent emails, ghosting me if you will, which is pretty poor given the reviews that I had read before hand.

I wouldn't have minded if I had paid about £10 for it, but it was £25, which isn't cheap, add to this,the person who had been emailing me,but then stopped,was the the owner of the company, Mark Smart!

All in all, I must assume that this company are only good if you don't have any problems that they can't solve, past this, it looks like they're happy to take your money and then completley blank you in order to hold on to the sale, which is pretty disappointing.

We had a problem with the fuel cap on our VW Passat. Fuel cover would not open. We were stuck in Wales with little fuel and could not fill up. Found the company details from Google. Rang Mark, very helpful and knowlegable. Met Mark at his premises, he used a lever to open the fuel cover and supplied the new lockable fuel cap with 2 keys for added security and peace of mind. Very helpful and went well above expected customer care service levels. Big thank you Mark

After having an issue with a broken fuel cap on my daughters 08 plate KA we struggled to find anywhere that could help and with the MOT due we were getting desperate , Halfords and other part suppliers offered no solution until I contacted Mark who got back to me within 5 minutes to tell me the exact part we needed and even went as far as to offer further advice on how to remove rust from the filler neck.

The fuel filler cap on my Peugeot Boxer M/H would not unlock. Looked high and low to locate one and couldn't but then found The Fuel Cap Company. Chatted to Mark and he quickly posted me a replacement along with instructions.

It arrived promptly and works perfectly, I can now fill up with no worries that I'd be stuck at all.
