The communication from Longin from my first interest in the car was impeccable. He gave reassurance and guidance where needed, especially after a bad experience at a different dealership. From huddersfield to wigan, all the faith was in the quality of the vehicle and what I was committing to without even seeing it in person, though the video helped. On collection of the vehicle I was met by a very personable and approachable gentleman who went above and beyond to ensure my happiness and comfort in all aspects. From first speaking to him, to meeting him in person it is evident that he has ample knowledge and is passionate about his job. Thank you Longin you have made me a very happy lady, and the umbrella and wine were a welcome surprise and addition to the whole experience. To anyone wanting a new car, I can not recommend phantom motors enough and can only hope everyone has the same experience as i have. Thank you Longin and phantom as a whole.

Excellent pre-sales service, but a disappointing handover.
Before visiting Phantom Motor Company with my son, I had read about their number-one ranking among 16,000 UK dealers and was impressed by the reviews.

The pre-sales experience was excellent: professional, welcoming and completely pressure-free. We agreed to purchase my son’s BMW on our first visit, with a scratched alloy due to be repaired before collection. The only slight concern was the additional £299 administration fee, but everything else had gone smoothly.

Unfortunately, the collection didn’t live up to the same standard. The car was dirty outside, the alloy hadn’t been repaired as agreed, and when we got home, we found the interior hadn’t been properly valeted, with marks and crumbs still present. We ended up spending what should have been a special afternoon cleaning his new car, which took the shine off an important day for him.

To be fair, Phantom later arranged for the car to be properly valeted and the alloy repaired. However, the disappointment could easily have been avoided with a thorough pre-collection check.

A £20,000 + BMW may not be a Ferrari, but it was a very special purchase for my son. Regardless of a car’s value, every customer deserves the same attention to detail, especially at handover. The pre-sales service was excellent; the collection experience simply needed to match it.

I bought a car from Phantom Motor Company at the end of August last year and, unfortunately, my recent experience has left me disappointed.

I’ve recently had the car serviced and MOT’d by another garage, who identified that the vehicle’s software had not been updated. They advised that this was causing the fuel injectors to not operate correctly.

They also advised that it appears the engine oil had not been changed, despite the car being sold to me as having been prepared/serviced.

I appreciate that issues can occur with used cars, but I would expect a vehicle to be properly checked and maintained before being sold. Finding out that basic servicing and software updates may not have been carried out has left me questioning the standard of the checks performed before I purchased the car.

Overall, I’m disappointed with the experience and expected a much higher standard from a professional motor company.

Right from the first call with Gary at phantom motor company the service has been exemplary. I travelled up to viw the car and had everything explained to me with absolutely no pressure and also was kept informed all the way and when picking up my new car service was excellent 10 stars

Gary was amazing from start to finish! From sending over a personalised video to getting the car in top condition for pick up. I couldn’t fault him or his team at Phantom who all tended to me and got everything sorted promptly. Everyone here was so nice and it was a really, genuinely relaxing environment to be in.
