Excellent service received the full amount paid to my account

Sent my immaculate phone off always had tempered glass protector received a valuation £100 less and images of a damaged badly scratch phone, not mine and now I’ll be unable to sell, fuming and deeply upset’

They gave the highest offer on comparison site, once they received my phone they sent photos of a highly scratched device. My phone had a perfect screen when I had sent it always been protected never dropped.
They reduced the offer from original by £90 I demanded my phone be returned. After threatening them with police/trading standards I received a Royal Mail tracking reference after 15days! They returned the device in a much worse state than when I had sent it. Stay away from this company at all costs!

They offered the highest price on the comparison sites. They stated that my iPhone 11 is in poor condition and has excessive scratching on the Screen. This is a complete lie as I just had the screen replaced a couple of days before the phone was sent to them. So the screen was in perfect condition! Obviously they were showing pictures from a different phone! Avoid.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will send you photos of phones that aren’t yours trying to knock good working phones down to faulty! You will be stung. Even if they offer more than anyone else it’s a lie you will NOT get what they offered!

They recieved my phone then sent me an email with pics of a phone with scratches and chunks missing. This wasn’t my phone. They then sent an email saying I needed to contact ‘checkmend’ as I was showing not the rightful owner - phone was over 4 years old …. It’s def my phone - the company apparently only deals via email. Asked for my phoned returned !

Please everyone read the reviews before you try. What people are saying about not receiving their money is 100% true. Luckily I threatened sellmymobile.com (third-party that put me through to phones2pounds) to report them for suspicious activity and within 3 hours they managed to contact these lames somehow and got my money sent. They have no means of you being able to contact them which is the worst thing after sending them your phone. DO NOT TRUST BY ALL MEANS!! better of going to a local cex. All these good reviews were either bought, robots or they themselves

It’s now the 26th November and they have had my phone over a month. After numerous emails to them and I’ve tried to call, nothing. I have had to report it as theft to the police and now the fraud squad are involved. Please do not send your phone.

Paid the highest quote online my phone and answered all my queries instantly regarding the process of the sale. Will be using again

Best price offered for my iPhone 12 Pro , kept me updated all the way from receiving, to testing the phone and then when they made payment

Looks like I am in the same boat as everyone else. They offered the best price on the comparison sites…but then reduced the value of an iphone12 pro and XR by 50%…..now chasing money or return my phone and getting no response to emails. No option to speak to someone. Shocking.

UPDATE: I have now been contacted by PTOP by reply email and paid (the reduced offer) for the 2 phones.

Avoid! Complete scam. Similar to other’s experiences on here -
No payment received for phone, no answer to their phone line, on my fourth email with no reply. Reporting to trading standards now. Please AVOID!

UPDATE….
I reported this company to a number of sources and they have finally paid me the full amount. Sell My Mobile, the company who recommended Phones to Pounds to me contacted them on my behalf and within 24 hours I had the money in my account. I hope this helps someone else.

I sent my iPhone 11 to Phones2Pounds over a week ago. I received notification they have received the phone and tested it, and that the full amount was being sent to me. 7 days later I still have not been sent the funds of £242. I have tried calling, no answer. I have emailed 3 times, no response. About to report to trading standards. Avoid this company at all costs!

Very very poor communication!! Firstly they offered me a reduced price from £363 to £275 which I accepted but they’ve refused to provide payment. I was initially told payment would be made 3hours from acceptance but nothing came… waited an additional 3 days nothing has still come through. I’ve also tried contacting them to get absolutely no response. Very very trash company to deal with avoid at all costs !!!!

Linked through via 3rd party website so the promised top price not honoured according to very strict criteria of which I was not aware. Accepted their decision asked to have phone returned. Specifically asked not to have a revised better offer as I am not desperate for cash and purchased my 11 pro max phone from Apple Store and know it’s tip-top with extremely light use… let down by some minor scuffs on the outer edge of the rim.
They ignored me and sent a further offer. I have requested (for the second time) return of my property. Their phone message is still using pandemic and social distancing as excuse…. Which is wearing thin now guys !!
Not blaming them for lowering offer for my phone but for not gettIng it back to me when I asked for it.
Wouldn’t use again as it hasn’t worked for me. First time I have tried this route. May be fine if you are trying to sell an older handset?? happy that there are some good reviews so they do well for some customers.

Did not honour the quote they offered. Did not respond within the time scales they advertise. Totally unprofessional scam artists. Have had my phone now for several days, still no payment. All advertising is miss-leading. My phone was in pristine condition yet apparently they needed a number of days to ‘test’ it. Even then I had to chase only to be told there was now a revised offer. JOKERS!!!!

I'm writing this to reassure people who sent their phones to Phones2Pounds!

I got an online quote for sending in my iPhone XR with a cracked screen. I liked the fact you could get a quote for a broken device as other companies just reassess the value when your phone arrives with them.

They offered me about £85. The pack arrived promptly and I returned the phone with no problems. 3 days after sending it, I got an email saying that payment was being processed. It hadn't come after about a week so I tried calling. Yes - as other reviewers have said - they are saying that due to Covid, they can answer the phone! It's November 2022 so they must be the only company in the UK not taking calls as Covid risks have reduced dramatically.

So I emailed them to ask where my money was! And then I read all the reviews calling them scammers!

However, the same day, I received an email back saying that the money should be in my account now. I checked - and it was.

So overall, it went fairly well! Yes, they should open up their phone lines! And yes, the payment didn't arrive when they said it would initially. But I was offered a fair price which they honoured and I did get my money. So all in all, I'm quite happy!

Quick, easy to do and fast payments. Would recommend!
