Only supplier of the item I needed. All dispatched promptly and arrived within the time advised. There was a distinct lack of such products so I was pleased to be able to find this.

Excellent rails
Excellent rails which were pretty straightforward to put up. They bent to my bay windows. Super hard to find this perfect product. Glad I bought it (on sale too!) I’m very happy.

Exceptional service from Poles and Blinds
We had an issue with a number of broken Silent Gliss track supports, likely deteriorated due to exposure to the sun on a south facing window. I managed to find the manufacturers name on the old support (not a name I was familiar with ) Searched on line and found a couple of stockists. Poles and Blinds were by far the best price and the order was received within a couple of days. Would highly recommend their services.

Thank you for your review. We’re delighted that you’re happy with the product, although we’re sorry that part of your experience with our customer service fell short of your expectations.
When you contacted us, your order had already been dispatched and was out for delivery. One of our advisers contacted our dispatch team to explore the available options, but unfortunately, changing a delivery address once a parcel is in transit cannot be guaranteed. You were therefore advised that the parcel could instead be redirected to a local Royal Mail collection point.

Unorganised, incorrect items
Ordered a double curtain track and only sent 1 track in the order and ‘forgot’ to send the second track, also didn’t send any fixings, when second order arrived they had only sent fixings for 1 track but we needed 4 sets

We’re very sorry for the errors with your order and completely understand why this felt unorganised.
Some of our products are dispatched directly from our suppliers, including the double curtain track system you ordered. Unfortunately, the supplier entered the required quantities incorrectly, resulting in only one of the two tracks being sent. When the missing track was subsequently dispatched, the quantity of fixings was also entered incorrectly, causing further inconvenience.
The remaining screws have now been sent. Although this was a highly unusual error, we appreciate that you placed the order with us and it was our responsibility to ensure the complete system reached you correctly. We sincerely apologise for the frustration and delay this caused.

Ueful to whom? What experience?
I don't normally have experiences when I buy goods and services, but I am happy to report that I had a good level of service, especially in light of an annoying problem (I got goods I did not order as well as the ones I did), and I like the products, even though they are getting a bit pricey.
By the way..."guidelines"? Don't be patronising or directive. Why do I ned guidelines.

We looked for a whole for a curtain…
We looked for a while for a curtain rail that would fit our box window and the one we bought from poles & blinds was recommended and much cheaper than other outlets. I have to say we are really pleased and it fit really easily, Dan.

Product description incomplete
The product is good, the service excellent & would have got 5 stars of the description included the cord length. I fitted 5m corded track to a 4m high window & the corded element is unusable unless you are 2.5m high or carry a stepladder. Having fitted them I now need to order more cord & take them apart to fit. Not satisfactory!!
Agreed that the site clearly identifies" All control cords have a total length of 100cm (39 3/8") " but this can't be true for a 250cm track. At best misleading & lacking in detail.

Thank you for your review. We’re pleased you were happy with the product and our service, although we’re sorry the cord length was unsuitable for your installation.
Cord-operated tracks must comply with child-safety requirements under BS EN 13120. Our product description clearly states that all control cords have a total length of 100cm and include a child-safety cord retainer.
To clarify, the stated 100cm measurement refers to the external control cord used to operate the curtains, not the full length of cord running internally through the track. The length of the track therefore does not alter the stated control-cord length. The track was supplied exactly as described on our website.
The track can be re-corded with a longer control cord to suit your high-level installation, provided the child-safety retainer is correctly installed at the required compliant height from the floor.
