They got my information wrong then when they finally got my information right they said they couldn't insure me so I had to pay nearly £100.00 to cancel my policy! Unbelievable! Think twice with this company! Avoid at all cost!

Thank you for your comments. Following this review, we did reach out to you and we did send a final response to your complaint. As per our letter (and to offer balance on this site) I can confirm that as per our final response, you gave us factually wrong information, which when discovered (and after the policy had started) left us with no choice but to cancel your policy, which was done in line with the Policy terms and conditions. Had we been given the correct information by you in the first place we would have declined to offer any cover.

Policy Renewal 26-27
My renewal notification which is normally sent by PW prior to my renewal wasn’t sent this year due to an administration blip which has now been resolved!!
As a result renewal day landed and a 10 min call to PW and I’m insured at a very competitive rate once more for the coming year!
Call handler very polite and obviously knew his product and more than happy to help and make sure my renewal notification will be sent for sure in 27!

Could have price matched sooner
They send me my renewal price a fair few weeks before renewal. When I got quotes elsewhere they initially didn't care... Took up untill 48hrs before renewal time for them to pretty much price match my other quotes. So then I was happy to renew although I felt I'd be mucked about for 3weeks.

To clarify our process regarding the quotation: the initial alternative quote you provided was unfortunately not on a "like for like" basis, though we were prepared to match it without the valuable extra cover you ultimately decided to keep on your policy.
When you later returned with a slightly lower quote from another provider, we referred it to one of our panel insurers. They agreed to reduce their initial quote (although our premium was still slightly higher). Because we are a broker, we negotiate on your behalf, but any final premium changes are dictated by the insurer in question rather than Policywave.
We are absolutely thrilled that you decided to renew your policy with us and that we were able to get everything sorted within 24 hours.
