I decided last year to move my business to Protected Trust Services as I knew local independent Travel Agents that were successfully running their businesses without limitations being a franchisee often brings. I do not regret it for one moment. It is a different way of working but the freedom it gives me is outstanding and I would not change back now! In particular, India in the business support team has been welcoming and very helpful when I needed support learning a different system than I have been used to over my long career in travel. Thank you to everyone in PTS membership support.

Caroline has helped me a lot with any queries I’ve had. I am very thankful to her for her patience as the system can be hard to navigate sometimes without training. I know I can go to her at anytime and she will help. Much appreciate

We've been using Protected Trust Services since late last year, most of my dealings have been with India Mayer, she is very professional, friendly, and helpful to me whilst I'm learning to navigate the system, I'm very satisfied with everything.

I was looking to set up my own independant travel agents. I have been in the trade for 6 years. I am looking at my options so customers know their payments are safe and my company can be trusted. I called and spoke to grant who answered my questions that I didn't need atol or abta depending on what I'm selling. After going backwards and forwards in conversation that I'm independant he grasps it and arranges a video call. During the video call I'm being asked how much money I have in the bank and talked about buying atol an atol license which on the website is under £1000. Which was my whole oint in looking at being a member. Asks how many people I have in my team. I am starting a new company and to be an independant travel agent. I was using the opportunity to know more about how things work before putting my company together. I'm still in the process of recruiting. To be told I'm trying to run before I can walk. Was a very disappointing and insulting way to start a conversation. I am an entreprenuer as a Business owner the money and staff is my problem. I was enquiring what services you offer. Now your trying to crush my hopes of having my own travel agents. Thanks for nothing. I was going to request to speak to someone else but I have gone with another company as I got no assistance with the offer of another agent.

When we first approached PTS we had our concerns and were cautious in going forward, however to our delight upon first contact we quickly learned that we were dealing with not only with a professional company but a company which employed normal people! Communication was excellent and Grant guided us through the application process seamlessly.
For any new companies out there thinking of starting up don't hesitate and get in touch with PTS, you won't regret it. We give this firm a big thumbs up!

Yesterday I spent a full day at the Sunderland office meeting the team and being introduced to the systems, led by Lianne. The welcome was warm, the approach was open, and every question was met with patience, knowledge, and genuine care. Nothing felt rushed or transactional. The team were approachable, grounded, and clearly invested in doing things properly.

What stood out most was the pride and belief they have in what they offer. The passion for protecting both businesses and clients is obvious, and it shows in how they operate day to day. I left feeling supported, informed, and confident in the decisions I’ve made for my business.

The support is the best feature, as well as prompt payout after the listed trips.
I did struggle initially with what is rather a quirky system; but I realise it’s organising many other different types of travel agency than our own.

Charlotte Fletcher was my trainer once onboarding (which Vanessa Ross supported me on) They were both extremely helpful, knowledgable and very quick to respond to my queries. Would highly recommend PTS if you want to run your travel business on your own terms.
