This company does not answer the phone; they must be so busy they don't have time to answer the phone, also long wait to get any work done. This is the last time i am using them , the service just gets worse every year, time to move on to another garage, had better service at le cramer also in bushey

Brilliant in replacing my tyre for a good price and accommodated my being slightly late despite being super busy.
It was SO REFRESHING to have a pleasant conversation with the chap on the desk (Rees?) who has retained the ability to talk to people of all ages and backgrounds and this alone made the 90 minute round trip worth it in a time when people often don’t bother making an effort! Thank you

Dust caps missing from 2 new front tyres!

I booked my car into Bushey Garage for an MOT, four brand new tyres, front wheel alignment, and a brake fluid change. I then received a call saying my car had failed its MOT on several issues — all of which I know were in good condition beforehand.
To make matters worse, my car was returned with visible damage, and despite calling repeatedly between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm, no one answered the phone. I was also told I couldn’t have a printed MOT report and would receive it by email, but I’ve still received no proof that the MOT was even carried out, or that any of the work I paid for was completed — other than the tyre changes.
This has been a terrible experience from start to finish: poor communication, questionable MOT results, and a complete lack of accountability. I would strongly advise others to avoid Bushey Garage based on my experience.

Great customer service as always, prompt MOT.. could do with more staff over weekends.

I took the car in there about four or five months ago and spent a lot of money and the car was left in a dirty condition.

True to their word when I had the MOT done last week they had the car cleaned for me.

My only complaint about the Bushey branch is it takes ages and ages to answer the phone

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent Platinum Servicing, including MOT, that I booked at the Bushey garage. Having frequently used this garage for brakes and tyre changes in the past, I had always been satisfied with the service provided. However, this time, the experience was absolutely awful. At the end of the service, I was handed the keys to my car without being informed that it had failed the MOT. There was no indication that the garage had taken any remedial action to address the issue, leaving me with an unfit car that had not passed the MOT. Despite paying for the Platinum service, the paperwork provided was highly unsatisfactory. Most of the boxes that should have been ticked as evidence of the service being carried out were left completely blank. There are several pages of unchecked items, which should have been thoroughly reviewed and completed, in my view. I had a great deal of faith and trust in this garage, but this recent experience has seriously undermined that trust. It almost felt as if there was a complete lack of care and attention to detail. I may be mistaken in my analysis.

Only had an MOT but it was on time and staff were professional

Very disappointed with the service at Kipling today. I called yesterday to book in and was told they were free from 11am, had no other jobs, and could see me. I explained I had a leak. By 4:30pm I still hadn’t heard anything, so I tried calling numerous times but no one answered despite being on hold for ages.

Only 5 minutes after closing did I finally get a call back, telling me they couldn’t help and that I needed to see a specific mechanic instead. I was also told I had “a leak” but they couldn’t specify what kind, even after apparently running a diagnostic.

This was a complete waste of time and incredibly poor communication. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 5 years, but after this experience I won’t be returning. Sadly, looking at recent reviews, it seems this level of customer service has become a trend. Would not recommend.

All went exactly as expected - paid online, turned up on time and tyres replaced

Very convenient website. I ordered the tyres (which were very competitively priced) and booked in an appointment to have them fitted. Good service.

I have never experienced such poor treatment from a company as I have with Protyre (Bushey).

After they replaced my battery, my car became completely immobile. I was left stranded while staff at the branch played loud music, smoked, and eventually closed the shop, leaving me with no help or support. As a young Black woman, I felt completely dismissed, disrespected and discriminated against.

Since then, I have had to pay other garages and Mercedes-Benz themselves to diagnose and attempt to put right the damage caused. I have provided Protyre with evidence from the RAC and Mercedes confirming the issue stems from their work. Despite this, I have been pushed from one person to another, told to wait while managers go on holiday, and left without any resolution.

This has caused me huge emotional distress and financial loss, I rely on my car for work, and instead I have been losing income, spending money on public transport, and unable to carry on my daily life.

It is unacceptable that a national company has treated me this way. I want others to be aware of my experience before trusting Protyre with their vehicle.

I completed the online form requesting a quote for tyres and wheel alignment. I received the automated message stating that someone would be in contact within 24 hours..... 6 days later I am still waiting to be contacted!

Having now read some of the other messages about this particular Protyre centre on other sites, I should not be surprised.

What is the point on an online booking system that keeps customers waiting for over an hour for a "while you wait" appointment. No apology and a dismissive attitude from the guy on reception. In the end I had to leave the car and get a lift home.
The wheel alignment was carried out for the wrong model and I had to bring the car back for it to be corrected a couple of days later when I had a better experience.
In contrast, Holly was very polite and communicative.
