Protyre Autocare - Cheltenham Reviews 

Initially I felt the tyre fitter was very helpful and honest. Fitted the one flat tyre but then tried to get me to have the other 3 replaced stating they were dangerous to drive on. Luckily I said I would get them done somewhere else nearer home. Took the car to kwik fit the following day and they said they did not need changing and there was still plenty of tread on them. Felt like they were trying it on just because I was a woman. Also made a right mess of the wheel itself, all scratched. Still waiting for them to email me a receipt. Would not return.

Used Protyre Cheltenham in past & always been very happy. This time, I had slow puncture on a back tyre so ordered & pre-paid for 2 new tyres in advance. The guys checked for issue & were able to repair it as in the right part of tyre which had plenty of tread left. They swiftly refunded what I’d pre-paid back onto card. This level of honesty & service is why I will continue to return to them & happily recommend. Many thanks to Mark & team.

Got a flat and needed a special order tyre. They advised I drop the tyre off that day as it was a Saturday so they could save me time by having it already prepared to be put back on my car quickly the upcoming Monday. No nonsense process was with the cost.

I’ve been coming to this company over 15 years with lots of different company names.
Never had to wait one week to put one tire on my car till now
And never waited one hour to put one tire on my car till now
I think it’s very poor service. .
I Just wanted one tire, but they started looking for other things that’s wrong with my car to try to get more money out of me
I got the Same tire 11 months ago and they tried to put the price up by 40 pound on me.
Shameful. Outrageous
I will have to think about if I’m coming back to this company again after all these years.

Had tyres pre booked, turned up left the car, tyres fitted jobs a good one. Friendly and efficient

I had a good time here for my car maintenance and MOT. The staff- Mark and everyone else are so kind and helpful and quite thorough as well. Will definitely use their service again

Brought my car in for platinum service which I was advised that everything would be checked and my air con would be re gassed garage had my car all day.When picking up my car I was not advised that my locking wheel nut was broken they advised me that I needed new brakes and discs plus new caliper but I had only just had a mot previously at this garage and there was no advisory stating this my car was passed. I think that your prices are extortionate as I was given a price for doing brakes etc at over 700 pounds spoke with my family when I got home and they were appalled they took me to get car rechecked at their garage where they were informed that my brakes etc were ok so I have informed protyre that I would not be returning and my family were informing trading standards personally I think I should be compensated some of the price of 395 pounds for the service I was given

I have a 12 year old meriva the exhaust has never been off in 80,000 miles.
Had a middle section that was split they managed to get it apart saving me a whole new system ,and alot of money.
Gave 5 stars ,From the easy booking service ,good communication about the fault and parts I needed ,they certainly know their stuff.

Staff were polite helpful and informative, nothing was too much trouble and the service was prompt and professional.

Mother inlaw had MOT there which was a clean pass.

Less than a month later had a service where they baffled her with jargon to upsell to there top packege at over £300.

Then told her her rear break pads discs and caliper needed changing at £700. I had them independantly inspected by a reputable garage i have used for years and were told theres nothing wrong with the breaks and there was 3/4 of the pads left, no disc lip and calipers were operating without fault.

I do not reccomend amyone use them especially as unneccecary upselling and claiming work needs doing that doesnt is illegal. We will be reporting to trading standards.

Really good communication and very flexible around when to fit me in to suit the other running about I had to do. Tracking was done promptly and the changes made were clearly explained.

Clear efficient check of rear tyres and immediate fitting of new tyres.

Was experiencing a slow loss of air from one of my new tyres fitted by another tyre fitter, protyre Cheltenham looked at the tyre found a leak around the bead and removed the tyre to see what was happening the tyre bead had been torn by the other fitter - ordered another tyre and will get it fitted by protyre then back to the original fitter to get a refund

Went to these guys with an emergency flat tire no spare only foam ( didn’t work hole to big, they were very busy but when I explained that I was nearly 2hrs away from home and the state of my tire they were helping straight away.
We sat down to a nice hot coffee in nice warm waiting room 20mins later our car was ready and we continued our journey home. Amazing service and very friendly and helpful staff( especially the guy on the desk) thank you so muc.

I was 2 hours away from home with a slow leaking tyre. Despite protyre being extremely busy and booked up they understood that I was super anxious about my tyres so they managed to fit me in and replace my tyres after a mobile tyre company did a botched job!! Just a special thank you to them for being so kind and considerate. Would definitely recommend!
