Protyre Autocare - Dumfries Reviews 

I have dealt with the Dumfries depot for many years and have always found them very careful with my cars.
Sometimes their price was slightly higher than other suppliers but due to the above, my loyalty lies with the Dumfries depot

Fast and efficient service from the manager and his team. Manager super friendly and happy to help with issues I had. Did a check over my car for me and picked of on a developing issue that ment I could get it sorted before it became more serious.

I delivered car early. Then left it and was told it would be ready in an hour. Left one and a half hours because didn’t want to hassle. Got back car still not done. Waited another hour. Was told wheel alignment couldn’t be done due to an issue with car. I asked if they could mend. They said they would call me back later that day to arrange appointment. No call back. No refund for wheel alignment. Im pretty miffed to be honest. Three stars was generous really

I received an email invoice that was not in my name and I have not been in Protyre for over a year.

The car listed on the invoice is not owned by me…

I emailed the shop to this effect and have had no reply as of yet….

All booked online. Great price. Prompt service. Work quickly and professionally completed.

The guy,s at protyre Dumfries , have always been good ,with myself & family, sadly they dont stock the tyres, i use therefore i buy online,but always get the guys to fit and balance for me as they look after my wheels,

Came in, tyres were in stock and fitted straight away

Booked in to have two tyres fitted on website and paid up front when I arrived was told tyres not in stock... Guy on desk said he would call me the next day if they were in

Next day came no phone call, called shop myself and spoke to same guy who admitted he had not called me and appeared unconcerned.

Did eventually get tyres fitted but unimpressed with customer service, will go elsewhere next time.

After leaving the pro tyre branch in Workington with a fault that wasn’t fixed, I attended my local branch in Dumfries where I was served by Kevin. Kevin was extremely helpful from the word go and even though he hadn’t initially dealt with the problem, he stepped up and successfully resolved the fault preventing me from taking another round trip. Kevin is an asset to your team, please make sure he gets the recognition, thank you

I arrived to request that 2 front tyres be replaced. I was told it would take 30 minutes. The tyres were checked and changed in 30 minutes. What more can you expect?.
I have been motoring for over 70 years and for many of them have relied on Dentons for excellent service

Pleasant staff. Job done quickly.

Needed a front tyre and tracking. The tyre fitter advised I needed 2 front tyres although one of the tyres was only 3wks old and had 60miles on it. After pointing this out a second fitter/manager agreed only one tyre was needed and offered a discount on the tyre and tracking. Upon payment by cash-no receipt given-the manager said he didn't want to see my face in there again. I appreciated the discount as means of admission of trying to oversell but the parting comment was quite rude and uncalled for.

I got the tyres I needed in a timely manner and the price that was agreed Many thanks
