I arrived just before my appointment time and was immediately booked in and the damaged tyre was replaced in no time. This meat be what you would expect, but on this day the depot was really busy!

Only thing that let them down slightly was how long it took from the moment my car was driven into the garage( this was also a booked appointment) by a chap to which I assume meant he was starting to fit my two front tyres . That all , two front tyres , it took roughly best part of 1.5hrs !! Luckily I wasn’t in a rush , all staff were very professional and welcoming .

Had four new tyres fitted to my car which was great initially. Went to go out in it a couple days later to find both front tyres are flat. Tried pumping them up & could hear the air leaking out. They hadn't been sealed properly. Had to take both wheels off the car to get them back to protyre the following day. Dropped them off in the morning & was told to pick them up at lunch time. Upon arrival, the wheels had not moved & was told there's nothing wrong with them. The central manager came out with some solution & squirted it on the tyres to find they were both leaking on the inside bead. Customer service was shocking, no apology, then had to wait another 1 & half hours before they were done. I will not be using this garage again.

Good price although very busy when i went

Arrange appointment & arrived early, my preference, so then had to wait 35 minutes beyond my scheduled time before car was seen to. Have to say once it was underway the service was good and efficient. Other customers clearly suffered the same unforeseen consequences.

I booked my car in for an oil change; they found during the oil change that the sump cap was broken and stuck. They advised me to order a new pan and showed me which one to order. During Christmas they looked after the car and when the pan arrived they fitted it and then completed the oil service; they charged me nothing extra for all this. Brilliant staff, great location - Protyre Sowton is now my go to place for car maintenance.
