Had 3 Bridgestone tyres fitted excellent price and service have been back since with my new car.

Staff were informative and very helpful with advising as to which tyres were the best option. The fitting was on time and completed quickly and efficiently.

Great service, friendly staff, no pressure to pay for extras

Friendly, professional service. I was greeted with a smile, and asked to wait in the viewing room whilst my free tyre check was carried out. The manager came to find me ten minutes later and took me out to see my vehicle, and showed me his recommendations. The new tyres were fitted quickly and for a reasonable price. I had been prepared to pay for premium tyres but I was told that for the mileage we do, it would be overkill, and he recommended a mid-range tyre which he said he’d be happy to put on his own car. I’m very happy with Protyre and I will return in the future.

I don’t know how I feel to be honest, I am not upset but maybe disappointed with the level of service. I am quite convinced that I did not get value for service. Had to chase up the Service report which to the best of my knowledge was not detailed enough. I definitely think whatever service was done for my car was not for a BMW Hybrid Platinum service. Also noticed I was billed for a service already covered, yes a refund was initiated upon complaint but it’s just not good enough. It seems You were just all about collecting the money or making the clients spend some more (Upselling) as against giving us our money’s worth. I will never come back to Protyre. This is my second horrible experience

Friendly, quick and efficient service.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the recent service I received from your garage. I brought my vehicle in for a Gold Service, and within days, the car began running poorly. Concerned, I took it to another garage for a second opinion.

The very first thing they checked was the spark plugs, which were found to be in a horrific and unacceptable state. The mechanics were shocked to hear that the car had just undergone a full service, as the condition of the spark plugs clearly indicated otherwise.

According to your own Gold Service checklist, spark plugs should be checked as per schedule and reported if required. This clearly was not done, which is a basic and essential part of any full service.

Furthermore, I feel that I was upsold on unnecessary additional work—specifically the track rods and drop links—raising serious concerns about your business practices. It appears the focus was more on generating extra income than providing an honest and thorough service.

As a result, I have not only paid for a service that was not carried out properly, but I’ve also incurred additional costs at another garage to rectify issues that should have been addressed in the first place.

I am requesting a full explanation, and I believe a partial or full refund is warranted in this situation. I hope this matter can be resolved swiftly and professionally. If not, I will be left with no choice but to escalate this through the appropriate consumer channels.

Been using Protyre for a while now. The staff have always been polite, even with new faces behind the desk the standard and experience is always the same. The prices are competitive as well.

Tires were ordered on Monday and fitted on Wednesday

Professional and efficient staff, plenty of options available for tyre brands, waiting room would benefit from seeing the dust pan and brush, all the H&S safety information was on display and staff presentable.

I had an MOT booked with Protyre Sittingbourne which was on schedule which was great unfortunately the MOT tester had noticed my oil level was too high the technician showed me and explained the potential consequences clearly to me, thankfully they was able to squeeze me in the same day for a service and do my MOT which i thought was excellent service and all done in a timely manner. Would 100% recommend. Thankyou Protyre Sittingbourne.

I had a Mot aborted because of high oil in the engine. My car had a bronze service done 1,500 miles ago along with a Mot a year ago again with only 1,500 miles in between (the oil wasn’t high I checked it afterwards as I am a retired Engineer)
I was told the oil was high because petrol was going down the bores passed the piston rings and into the oil Bulls**t.
I booked another mot a week later for an oil change (I hadn’t check the oil at the time)along with JUST oil and filter change, booked for 8.30 and 9.30. The oil change turned into half a check on my car and oil/filter change. Guess what the 8.30 oil change ran over so they missed the 9.30 Mot slot which they re booked for 1.30. This totally destroyed my day.
Any way this job creation scheme turned out to be a new tyre, exhaust badly corroded and new break pads on the rear. I only got the tyre done and it passed the Mot with no advisory.
Thus a Mot at £44 turned into extras costing approx £216
I will never return and will go to smaller more reputable local garages in future. I have notice this trend of job creation creeping in at these larger establishments.

So I had my car booked for a MOT, they declined to do my MOT trying to force me to do a service first with the low oil level scam. They actually showed me the dipstick with a low oil level with obviously wasn’t. Since I am a mechanic myself and finished a school with a diploma in auto mechanic I knew exactly what they doing. That’s pathetic and shameful. I went home myself and I done the oil change and was absolutely nothing missing, got out 8 liters from the engine after 7k miles. I would advise people to stay away from them

This was the first time I have used Pro Tyres I am glad I did. They were very professional and kept me up to date every step of the way. Because of my age 87. they brought my car back to me when they had finished. I will use them again. Thank you

Popped in a couple weeks back to have Front tyres changed. The locking wheel nuts were stuck and the absolute legends not only got them out but also replaced all 4 locking wheel nuts for normal ones free of charge, even though they had to send one of the lads off site to collect replacements. It's not the norm today for businesses to go the extra mile but it was really appreciated! Thank you!
