The new manager is great.
He wasn’t afraid to get involved with his staff when I had concerns, which is great. As a customer I should feel confident & informed about what is happening & why. Things can easily go wrong, if there’s a lack of communication

Protyre wells has exorbitant prices for tyres, double vat collection. Collecting vat for tyre that was already sold with vat included 20% higher.

My car underwent
My car underwent a MOT. The staff were excellent, my car was ready for pickup at the time promised I even received a phone call to inform me that my car was ready for pickup. It's the first time I have used them for MOT and definitely not the last time.

Damaged TPM sensor, ignored calls, and no accountability – I won’t return
had both rear tyres replaced at Protyre Wells in December 2025. Immediately after, I noticed the rear tyre pressure display was behaving erratically and flagged it with the branch. I was told it was likely weather-related and dismissed.
One month ago, Porsche Bristol diagnosed a cracked rear TPM sensor—clearly damaged during tyre fitting. I had to pay for the replacement myself.
What’s worse: no one at the branch ever answers the phone. I tried multiple times over weeks. Even when I visited in person, I saw staff ignore ringing phones. The new branch manager said he’d speak to his manager, but later dismissed the issue with irrelevant MOT excuses. It was clear they had no intention of taking responsibility.
I’ve completely lost trust in this branch and will never bring my Porsche—or any car—here again.

Protyre can not service hybrids fully
I have a hybrid. Protyre say on website they can service hybrids but when I ask if they can do the updates required no they cannot. They say only the manufacture can. This means that they cannot really do a full service.
Update - Protyre did contact me and investigated the situation. They came back and said that they could not do updates as only Renault garages had access to this. So fine if there are no updates required but otherwise it is a trip to Renault/
