Awful Experience with Public Stores.

Unfortunately, my experience with Public stores was very disappointing. I ordered a product that arrived damaged. When I contacted customer service to request a replacement, I encountered indifference and refusal. Despite having paid for the product, no replacement was offered and my money was not refunded.

This experience has made me question their reliability and professional conduct. I will not choose Public stores again and certainly will not recommend them to anyone I know.

While their customer service team is very polite and eager to help, both the company of PUBLIC and their team is unreliable.

I placed an order on the 2th of July and even though on the website, prior to completing the placement of my order, said it would be available for store pick up with payment on sight the next day on 3th of July, up until today which is 7 days later I didn’t receive any information about my order. In the meantime, I had contacted their customer service team to confirm that my order was successful and ask the reason for the delay and THREE times, all three times, they confirmed that my order was valid and it would be available for pick up with a delay due to technical issues.
Today, 7 days after the placement of my order was completed, they emailed me to inform me that due to a technical issue my order was not successful after all. I called again, to express my disappointment and all they offered was to help me make this order again from scratch and wait even more days.

From now on, I will be buying only from competitors of Public such as PLAISIO , which has proven more reliable.

I paid for a new air condition and its installation. The technician opened a huge hole on my wall which he filled with just felizol leftovers from the air conditions packaging. He insisted that there is nothing he can do and left it.

I shelled out €300 for a gaming monitor, expecting prompt delivery as advertised on their site. But instead, I've been strung along week after week. Despite stressing the urgency due to my work, they keep promising it'll arrive "in the next few days." It's been over a month, and they haven't even received it from the supplier. Of course I cancelled after 1 month+ of waiting and I’m on hold to take my money back.

Very bad experience with quality issue. Public gave up responsibility of defected item, although as seller they are fully responsible. Have to take action via EU consumer protection

Υπάρχει καθυστέρηση αρκετών ημερών στην παράδοση παραγγελίας από το ηλεκτρονικό κατάστημα, ακόμη δεν την έχω παραλάβει, αλλά έσπευσαν να χρεώσουν την κάρτα πριν εξασφαλίσουν το προϊόν. Απολύτως αναξιόπιστοι.

STAY AWAY....!!! USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE USELESS RETURNS DEPARTMENT AND THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL YOU CAN'T COMMUNICATE WITH NO ONE THAT IS IN CHARGE.. MANAGER ,SUPERVISOR OR ANYONE ELSE ONLY CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY HAVE FORWARD YOUR DEMANDS AND BE PATIENT.... ONE THING I CAN UNDERSTAND FROM THAT USELESS CEO. CALLS 22 MILLION OF INVESTMENTS AND THERE IS NO MANAGER TO SOLVE PEOPLES PROBLEMS WITH PRODUCTS LIKE LAUNDRY KITCHEN FRIDGE ETC WHICH THEY IMPORT FROM TURKEY.....!!!!! -22.000.000 stars from me

Not that good me and my friend went in the store and they yelled at us because my friend was touching a board game and they kept on eyeing him up and down whilst we were searching for the things we wanted the delivery service isn't good at all though because it takes about a month for a book to come personal experience by the way overall I think they should totally manage their employees and delivery

Honestly you guys, I have no idea how you’re still surviving in this field... Your customer services and deliveries are one of the worst to ever exist! Your products sales are a total FRAUD!! The prices are extremely high and I’ve been trying to order something for more than two months and you practically make it impossible for me! Your external partners take for ages to prepare a delivery and you seem to stand by and just watch and do absolutely NOTHING!! So so frustrating… You definitely know how to get on people’s nerves!! Just sell the company to someone more worthy, organised and capable!! Utterly, embarrassed of you and your company’s values and policies!! Never ordering from you again, not even visiting one of your stores for window shopping!! I strongly advise people to stay away from this chaotic situation!!!

They had the mobile phone I wanted at an excellent price, the service at my local store was fast and friendly - what more could I ask for. Better yet, Public.gr is one of the few companies in the country to have an online platform in both Greek and English - smart and commendable!

It is the second time today that I have ordered something from the Public and did not arrive on time. The worst is that both times (the first in a shop and the second online purchase), I was asked what day I want the item to be delivered. If they cannot deliver when the client wants, why they have this option in the first place?

I ordered five English books for my daughter's summer vacations last July. One and a half month later they sent me an email that I will get the books sometime in the middle of September. Called them and ask them not to send them and asked to use the money for something else. They accepted.
3-4 days later a courier send me a message that I have an package from Public. Ask the courier not to send the package and I called back Public to tell them that I will use the money for school books and stuff. They accepted and told me that they will send me a refund.
At the begging of October, I called Public again to ask my money back because at that time they hadn't sent me the refund and I'd finished the school's buying. They accepted.
After over 50 calls, I managed to get my money back yesterday, 21st of December and after having me waiting at the store for over a hour!
Stay away from Public's Web orders!
Stay away from Public's call center!

I went to the store to pickup a 3 month Xbox Game pass and from the 25 letters and numbers only 10 were visible I called them and they said we cannot do anything about it. Very bad do not buy anything from them

Αγόρασα 2 ζευγάρια ακουστικά hands free και δεν έπαιξαν ποτέ ..τα πήγα για αλλαγή...πήρα άλλα..σε μια εβδομάδα σταμάτησαν και αυτά ..μιλάμε για 24 ευρώ

I ordered a invertor freezer and got a candy fridge. It was delivered 4 days ago and until then nothing has happened. They keep telling me “tomorrow someone will let me know” and nothing happens. They are scammers honestly. Do not use

Received a damaged product over a month ago and still trying to have it picked up for return. They stopped returning my emails. Will now have to try to have the credit card charge reversed. Horrible customer service.

Η εμπειρία μου με το customer service των καταστημάτων Public αποδείχθηκε πραγματικά απογοητευτική. Αποφάσισα να αγοράσω ένα προϊόν και αντί να το παραλάβω σε 48 ώρες, όπως είχα ενημερωθεί, έφτασε μετά από 10 ολόκληρες μέρες. Αυτό από μόνο του αρκεί για να προκαλέσει ανησυχία και απογοήτευση στον πελάτη. Ακόμη χειρότερο, όμως, είναι το γεγονός ότι η υπόσχεση για την τοποθέτηση του προϊόντος (σε 2 μέρες από την ημέρα της παραλαβής), όπως μου είχαν διαβεβαιώσει τηλεφωνικά πριν από την παραγγελία, απλά αγνοήθηκε και συνεχίζει να αγνοείται.

Μετά από επικοινωνία μέσω τηλεφώνου, μου δόθηκε η διαβεβαίωση ότι η εταιρεία που θα εγκαταστήσει το προϊόν θα επικοινωνήσει μαζί μου μέχρι τη Δευτέρα 18/9 για να κανονίσουμε το ραντεβού. Δυστυχώς, αυτή η υπόσχεση δεν τηρήθηκε, καθώς δεν έλαβα καμία επικοινωνία από την εταιρεία. Στη συνέχεια, προσπάθησα να επικοινωνήσω μέσω Facebook και έλαβα τη διαβεβαίωση ότι η εταιρεία θα επικοινωνήσει μαζί μου την Τρίτη 19/9. Και πάλι, αυτή η υπόσχεση δεν τηρήθηκε καθώς δεν έλαβα καμία επικοινωνία από την εταιρεία. Αυτή η αδιαφορία και ανεπάρκεια στην επικοινωνία με τον πελάτη είναι απογοητευτική και δημιουργεί αίσθηση αποστροφής για την εταιρεία.

Σίγουρα υπάρχουν πολύ πιο ενδιαφέροντες τρόποι για να διαθέτουμε τον χρόνο μας από το να πρέπει να σας αναζητούμε στο τηλέφωνο και στα social media, υπενθυμίζοντας σας τις υποχρεώσεις σας. Είναι δυσάρεστο να αντιμετωπίζουμε αυτήν την αναστάτωση λόγω της μη τήρησης των υποσχέσεών σας. Βάσει Ευρωπαϊκής οδηγίας, “Όταν οι εταιρίες διαφημίζουν, πωλούν ή προμηθεύουν προϊόντα, οφείλουν να σας δίνουν επαρκώς ακριβείς πληροφορίες, ώστε να μπορείτε να αποφασίζετε για την αγορά ενός προϊόντος πλήρως ενημερωμένοι”. Απαγορεύονται οι “παραπλανητικές πρακτικές”, είτε με πράξη (παροχή ψευδούς πληροφορίας) είτε με παράλειψη (απόκρυψη σημαντικής πληροφορίας).

Οι πελάτες αξίζουν την ειλικρίνεια και τον σεβασμό σας. Είναι άκρως απογοητευτικό να βλέπεις μια εταιρεία να δείχνει τόση αδιαφορία για τους πελάτες της.
