Sale items are never stocked in store. Shelves are empty for morning rushes. Shelves are empty in afternoons for evening rush. Stock rooms are bare. Adds are false. Bakery costs twice what it used to for hard baked goods. I desperately want another chain to move into Florida.

I went to Publix today to see what kind of garbage sushi they’re making—they have a $5 Wednesday promotion, and it certainly lived down to expectations. Have you seen the sushi they make? They pack in so much rice that your stomach is stuffed after just four rolls. When cooking the rice, they add not only Chinese vinegar to make it sticky but also a special flavoring essence that tricks you into thinking you’re eating an expensive restaurant-quality roll. The rolls at Publix are low-quality and tasteless; I make sushi at home that tastes 90% better. Look closely: the pieces of tuna and salmon they cut are the size of an infant's fingernail. This brings the cost of the box down—it costs them $1 to make, not $5—meaning they’re ripping the customer off by $4. I don't recommend shopping at Publix at all. When I used to shop there, I’d put an item in my cart and then search for the exact same product by weight; the price difference ranged from $3 to $9. In other words, you’re massively overpaying for everything. By the way, if you want to try sushi that actually tastes good, go to Eddy Hills nearby—it’s a small place with prices similar to Publix. You’ll immediately stop eating the stuff they foist on you at that overpriced store. I’ve lived here for 45 years; I used to be able to fill a whole cart there for $100, but now $50 only buys me three items. It’s a terrible store.

This store has gotten totally out of control with their prices $4.99 a pound for a pepper are you kidding me are you ever going to lower your prices TikTok videos from everybody saying this store is shit and you're still not lowering your prices
Before you put something on buy one get one free you raise the price what's it going to take the government to come in and shut you down you monopolized all of Southwest Florida and you're still raising your prices you're disgusting greed is not good God wins in the end

We had been going earlier and earlier each weekend because the Tutto bread baked daily(?) and the Publix's Gourmet Blend Brisket, Short Rib, and Sirloin Beef Burger packs were lately always sold out/not in stock by the time we get there. I spoke to the meat or produce mgr. Mike and he told me that publix puts a new meat combo out every 2 months and they discontinue the old meat combo when the new is brought in, no rotation. After looking into meat deliveries, he said there was one last delivery coming that evening/overnight and would be stocked and on the shelves first thing in the morning. After getting there at 7am opening and neither items were in stock...frustrated, we started to ask questions. And at the bakery counter, we were told that the bakery only makes a specific amount of bread each morning denoted by Publix corporate offices and on that morning they were only instructed to make/bake 1 loaf of Tutto that morning?!? REALLY, only ONE?!? We have never had that problem at the Hilton Head Island and Fort Lauderdale locations or a Publix anywhere else for that matter...NEVER! I will not recommend or return to the General Booth location.

I am a regular shopper at your stores and greatly appreciate the excellent customer service.
However i am writing to share my concerns regarding recent rise in grocery prices, many everyday items at Publix have become significantly more expensive than at competing chains. It is becoming increasingly difficult to justify standard grocery trips when identical products are priced noticeably lower elsewhere.
I hope management will consider reviewing its current pricing.

Publix store on 34th st South in St. Pete, FL continues to offend its good customers. The latest offensive activity: the store eliminated check-out lines for 10 or less items. OUTRAGEOUS policy.
This store also ELIMINATED easy to read signs at the entrance that it IS ILLEGAL TO BRING DOGS INTO THE STORE except for documented service dogs that PERFORM A NEEDED FUNCTION UNABLE TO BE PERFORMED BY THE human -- which is a U.S. LAW!
Now there is a tiny "no dog" sign with lettering so small that you have stand within 1 ft to read it. AND, most of the time the sign is HIDDEN BEYOND A LINE OF SHOPPING CARTS.
Given the abuse of the execs at this (and, I understand other locations) I will be doing most of my shopping at WALMART and ALDI.

Honesty I’m not sure while Publix has less than a 3 star rating! Have you never had their subs?! Cream horns?! Or best yet their seafood salad!!!!! I grew up in Florida and I miss this store dearly now that I moved away but every time I visit it’s among my top 10 stops! Friendly staff! So clean. Oh and did I mention the seafood salad?!

On a recent trip to Sarasota FL. i traveled to Publix to grab a few item. It was a very nice supermarket and the staff was very friendly and the store was very well stocked.

I really like shopping at Publix. I actually drive about 40 minutes to go to Publix for certain things, and honestly, it’s worth the drive. It is a little more expensive, but they have some things that I just can’t find at other stores.The fruit is always really fresh, and I love their salad bar. It’s always fresh and they keep it stocked. I also like that they have fresh flowers and bouquets.
The people are always nice, the store is clean, and everything is usually where it’s supposed to be. I really don’t have many complaints about Publix. I’ll probably always shop there, even with it being a little bit of a drive for me.

I love Publix. Publix has awesome meat departments fish departments and pastries. Today, however, I was astonished to see the price of a watermelon at $9.99. This is beyond the pale. I also see that corporately Publix is a conservative and Republican supporter. This also disturbs me very much. I am contemplating using another store and I'm disappointed that I am being forced to make the change.

My husband was just at the Publix on Park Blvd and Belcher Rd and was at the register and no one was acknowledging that he was there and one of the employees had to the nerve to ask are you waiting which he could see he was so my husband said no I'm leaving and why would you start checking your registers while you have people wanting to check out. I thought this Publix would be more acknowledge able but I guess I was wrong

I have been shopping at this Publix for over 20 years and the customer service just keeps getting better. Edward in the meat department went above and beyond the call of duty for me. Edward cut some turkey necks for me that I have been told repeatidly over the years "we can't do that." Edward did it. Young DeAngelo asked him could he and he did. Additionally, they set a whole duck aside for me, as well. Team Publix. I formally thank you Edward and DeAngelo. I'll be back.

Sabal palm plaza of fort Pierce. It started weeks ago .I would come in the morning to buy a yogurt parfait..I only like the strawberry plain one but none were available.I made a complaint and they started making them available as they did with all the other parfaits.weeks later specifically today They keep putting less and less yogurt in these cups I picked up one today and put it back because youre being charged $3.50 and the fruit is no longer filled at the top so now you cut the yogurt and the fruit. Flat out ridiculous!!you're ripping folks off still charging the same price for barely anything.I spoke to a manger supposively over produce yogurt regarding..and he states they go by a recipe..Which was a ridiculous answer..you keep cutting the yogurt and now the fruit youd still be hungry eating this for breakfast..you're just cheap Never knew filling a cup up yogurt with fruit and yogurt fairly for the price would be so difficult..this recipe" changes every week sick of yall nonsense get a grip!!!

Only 2 lanes open and the self checkout lane. Ever lane was backed up. They now require you to have their app to get some of the discounts along with coupons. Always slow in a Publix’s and their service has gone way down hill. They are nothing more than an overpriced Walmart anymore.

Publix is only concerned dealing with family with kids. They could care less about singles and the retired.
In Farragut TN. there are two stores one is fairly new. They have big bulky carts for customers to carry their children in & small carts for their children to push around. I think that is fine, but when i requested they get a small 2 tier carts for people that don't need that many groceries they say they won't do it. At least Ingles and Kroger cares about customers that only need a small amount of groceries because they do have the smaller 2 tier carts.

This review is for the Publix Pharmacy in Edgewater Florida. After being in the hospital for over a week, I had a major surgery and the doctor prescribed me a narcotic and the MANAGER gave my wife hell about filling it. There is one great pharmacist that works there and that is Chris. He doesn't judge people because of the medication you take. He will ask perticiular questions for certain medications but always in a friendly professional manner unlike others that work there. If you continue employing people like this, your reputation will not be as good as people like Chris make it. These Pharmacist better get off their power trip because it will only backfire on Publix. I'm a senior citizen and I take all my meds like I'm supposed to.

I shopped at Publix in Jacaranda Commons today and purchased Mayfield ice cream that had a sign in front of the product stating it was buy one get one. When I got home and viewed the receipt I was chared for both. When I looked at the BOGO list for Publix on line, in very fine print (I needed my glasses) the date that the BOGO started tomorrow August 6th. I ask why put the sign in front of the ice cream the day before? Publix has habit of doing this continuously. I will shop at Aldi or Wamart more often from now on. On another note, the date the BOGO starts is such a small print that I cannot read without my glasses even though I can read all the parts without glasses.

I love that they often have BOGO deals and overall the stores are really clean and comfortable and staff that works here are really friendly and helping, and the prices are a bit expensive but overall i recommend it!
