Real Seeds Reviews

Terrific website, packed full of very generous information about all the seeds. I have ordered before and received the seeds promptly. They were well packed and had a high germination rate. This is my favourite site to obtain the unusual, reliable heritage seeds they specialise in. If you want a fair deal, you cannot go wrong with Real Seeds.

The seeds from the Real Seeds are the best you can get. I have never been let down. I know they have been tested and the advice & tips you receive in conserving seeds for future use is so helpful and in our current climate re concerns about food security, this is so important. You are buying from a genuinely ethical company.

Always great seed and a really good selection. I've learnt so much about seed saving from Real Seeds. It's clearly a company that cares deeply about what they do, and carefully select seed that is going to grow well and taste good, not just for show!

Have used this company for years. Love their ethics, bringing seeds from all over the world (their treasured heritage varieties), and old Brutish varieties that would otherwise be lost. They are tried and tested for taste/growing qualities before being sold, and we have enjoyed some amazing different vegetables never found in big company catalogues. Also love the big seed count. A really great company to deal with.

Great company to buy seeds from, it takes me ages to buy as such a selection and lots to read and digest. I am so happy with a company that displays values we seem to be loosing and I know it's my age but I don't want AI sending me all over there websites. Oh, the seeds are fantastic too, please buy, you won't be disappointed.

Website has loads of really helpful information - seasonal growing guides, seed saving etc - and the quality of seed is always reliable. Wide range of seeds - from common to unusual - and descriptions of plants always helpful to guide purchases.

Amazing results from the seeds - I have more cucumbers than I can eat or pickle and that's with giving some away! I've been a customer since 2021 and seeds are always delivered in good time with good quality. Communication very good also, with just one email a year outside of orders. Good info on seed saving provided too for those interested.

Used this seed company for a number of years now. Good selection of seeds that you can also save knowing that they’ll grow true as they aren’t hybrids. Love the extra information that is provided with the descriptions so you know if they’ll survive winter, slow to bolt etc
Likes the fact that they are 100% renewable energy and grow 50% of the seed themselves. Any imported isn’t from Israel so good news on that front too.

I wanted some leek, broad bean, courgette, and pea seeds and headed to the best seed company in the UK (Wales). They have an incredible selection of vegetables and wonderfully detailed explanations of the traits of the plants that are being considered. An easy to navigate website and very down to earth people that run the business. We do save our seeds but we always seem to want other vegetables and so we come back each year. This is a company that you can trust to have a quality product and I always feel good about supporting their cause.

Very good company. Great seeds. Good website.

I love everything about Real Seeds! Always a very high germination rate with the seeds given. I order from them near enough every year as they always have an interesting selection of seeds to pick from. The website is also very informative and I have managed to save my own seeds which I happily share with other allotmenteers! I also made a seed separator from the instructions on the website which works a treat for my amaranth harvest! Onion seeds are the only thing I'm gutted about as the globo onions are no longer available due to Brexit :(, wish I had saved seed from mine as they were absolutely fantastic.

I usually return every year to Real Seeds. Great selection including unusual but very useful varieties. Good growing information on their web site. Excellent!

Wonderful seed company - unusual seeds that grow really well - and helpful advice

Real Seed Company are offering a wide range of traditional and unusual seeds of high quality with clear instructions. They are an ethical company who advocate harvesting your own seeds from the plants grown. I have been enjoying runner beans and delicious chard all through this summer and now look forward to winter crops of greens. The plants are very healthy.

I have ordered two lots of seeds from RealSeeds now and they are absolutely the best on the market. Reliable, high quality, honest, healthy and even educational. Honestly cannot rate them highly enough. I love the packaging too!

I have been buying seeds from them since last year. Great varieties and fair price. Very good germination rate!

Real Seeds are the best seed supplier I have used to date. Reliable, sustainable, unique and one of a kind. The detailed paper seed packets are not only good for the environment but aesthetically pleasing as well.
I hope to use Real Seeds long into the future!
