I buy one book, and suddenly I am a subscriber. SCAM SCAM

I’m leaving a 1-star review to warn others. In my case, they continued charging a monthly fee even though I wasn’t actively subscribed. I only made a one-time payment to purchase the recipe content, but later I noticed monthly charges started as well.

What really concerned me is that I couldn’t find a reliable way to unsubscribe/remove the subscription from their website. I attempted to cancel, but it didn’t let me stop the billing. Overall, it was misleading and frustrating, so please be careful before you pay anything.
If you’re considering using this site, double-check your payment settings and cancellation options first. Don’t assume you can unsubscribe easily, because in my experience it wasn’t possible.

I ordered a book offered for .99cents and received a poorly designed ebook that looked nothing like the one advertised on Facebook. I then received an invoice for abook l did not order called Cooking for Your Pet. I don't even have a pet. I was subsequently charged a subscription fee monthly which l did not notice as l did not sign anything or agree to being a subscriber. I spoke with their Customer Service and was told when l signed up to subscribe. I have received nothing from them during the 3 months they were deducting my money from my account.
I was told over the phone that my subscription has been canceled but l only received a refund for 1 month.
I cannot find the book or the email that was first sent as the link is sending me to an ad for another book.
My bank says they can't do anything as the amount they took is a small amount so they cannot investigate further.
I am a pensioner who was tricked by a bait and switch scam.

They are scammers, bought an e book and next thing they deducted 15!us dollar from my account. Supposedly a subscription I bought . Criminals they are !!!

OMG! I got conned into a $5.97 fee which I paid. Just checked my account and see I've since been paying a monthly fee for this website. People be aware. You need to cancel this via the website they create for you. Watch your account for surprises. Also contact your bank to block them from your bank account. Very clever how they've setup their website. You've got to give them that. You forget you've joined and probably like me didn't read the terms & conditions.

SUBSCIRPTION FRAUD - PEOPLE - DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND READ YOUR EMAIL CONFIRMATION - I recently discovered that I have been charged for both Recipe Tour and Home Activity Guide.
I was conned into the cheesecake Recipe Book for 99c as well as Recipe Tour Level 1.
Luckilly managed to cancel one in time but didn't notice the additional one HOME ACTIVITY GUIDE (as per email confirmation) so I was charged 3 payments of $34NZ$ before I smelled a rat. Now in process of getting that cancelled as well. will probably not get a refund but let's hope.

This is a criminal scam, these bastards take money from your account after purchasing a $2.50 recipe, they keep payments recurring. Do not engage with them.Stop all payments

I've had two charges on my credit card and I don't know why I've received almost $60 of fees. I'm trying to get that money back

100% a scam - bought a one off item for $2.99, then they charged $28 2 weeks later as an automated subscription.

I was tricked or scammed into a membership when I ordered the cheesecake collection from Recipetour for 2.99 usd. Then 2 weeks later I was charged $34.36 on my card for the subscription which I never knowingly signed up for.

I had no idea this would be an ongoing subscription. I ordered a $3 book and ended up paying over $50 with an ongoing subscription

Signed me up for something I did not want.
Manipulative scam

I recently bought some recipes they advertise on Instagram, during my purchase they activated a membership I didn't sign up for, lucky I could get my refund from them, but actually a month later they made a second charge in the card with no reference of the commerce I reported it and the bank said it is scam
